BMW R 1300 GS / Adventure Cylinder Head Protection (LOBOO CGTBH151BK) | 4 mm Aluminum, Double Damping, Non-Destructive Installation
🛡️ Double protection with double damping
The LOBOO Cylinder Head Protection for BMW R1300GS and R1300GS Adventure was created to replace the original lower plate with a more robust and technical component. Made of high-strength aluminum alloy with double thickness of 4 mm (0.157"), it uses a double damping design that absorbs impact energy: rubber buffers in the mounting holes + silicone buffer blocks on the plate.
- High-strength aluminum – 4 mm thickness (twice that of OEM)
- Dual damping – rubber pads in the holes + silicone/nylon blocks to absorb shocks
- Replaceable buffer blocks – reduce usage costs over time
- Developed based on original data – precisely positioned holes for damage-free installation
- Electrostatic spray coating – durable technical black finish
- Direct replacement for the original lower protection plate (see reference image)
⚙️ How dual damping works
The hole rubbers isolate the plate from the frame, reducing vibrations and peaks, while the silicone/nylon buffer blocks on the front surface dissipate energy in case of contact with obstacles.

Designed with original vehicle data: hole positions are accurate for no modification mounting. Replaces the original lower plate. Medium threadlocker and torque check after 100–200 km recommended.

Premium upgrade on my BMW GS
I installed the JADO S6 on my BMW GS (non-"dedicated" version), and although I don't use the BMW base, the display and features are still top notch. The night visibility is impressive, and the "X-Ray" mode, as they call it, makes evening riding much safer.
