The 5 Whys of L11 Motorcycle Spotlights (15,000 lm)

  1. Why do they exist?
To provide maximum illumination at night and off-road with a powerful, adjustable beam.
  2. Why choose them?
IP68, quick mounting, lever controller and dual temperature 3000–6000K.
  3. Why are they reliable?
Aluminum construction, thermal protection, and resistance to vibration, water, and dust.
  4. Why is the price justified?
High performance + complete kit (headlights, brackets, wiring, controller) reduce installation time and extra accessories.
  5. Why do they improve the rider's life?
Greater visibility and safety with immediate control of modes from the handlebars.

Quick and easy installation

The kit includes universal brackets for bars/handlebars, plug & play wiring and clutch lever controller. Route the cables away from hot or moving parts, check the tightness after the first few miles.

FAQ

❓ Question 💬 Answer
Are they compatible with my motorcycle? Yes, with 12–15 V motorcycles and suitable mounting points. The universal brackets cover most tubular frames/handlebars.
Can I use them in rain and mud? Yes, the IP68 rating protects against water and dust; dry the connectors after washing/fording.
How many light levels do they have? The intensity is adjustable in steps and is remembered when switched on (memory function). There are high beam and low beam settings.
Do you need an installer? The kit is plug & play. If you are not familiar with electrical systems, have an installer connect and align the beam.
Are they approved for road use? Yes, these motorcycle spotlights are approved. Download the approval certification here.
Always check the local regulations and any restrictions/approvals in your country before using them on the road.

Why choose it
  • ECE R149.00 Homologated:both low beam and high beam approved, downloadable certificate.
  • 15,000 lumens on eight levels:full power when needed, minimum level when someone is in front.
  • Controlled by BMW Multi-Controller:with the LC081 CAN-BUS module, a separate accessory, without additional switches.
  • Quick release without tools:with the Q7 mount, a separate accessory, you can remove them in the city and on technical off-road sections.
  • Flashing with the horn:plus three autonomous warning modes, with the dedicated cable already in the kit.
  • IP68 and CNC aluminum:with automatic thermal regulation.
Who is it recommended for

What's included and what's not

  • Included: pair of headlights, 22, 25 and 28 mm tube clamps, eight-level aluminum adjustment ring, wiring with fuse holder and relay, horn flashing cable, screws, Allen key, threadlocker and zip ties.
  • Separate accessories: 32 and 38 mm clamps, quick-release bracket, CAN-Bus controller for BMW.

The two accessories worth considering

  • Q7 Quick-Release Bracket— remove the headlights without tools, with key lock and watertight connector. Compatible with L7S, L7Q, L11, L16 and L18S.
  • LC081 CAN-Bus Controller— controls the headlights from the original BMW Wonder Wheel. Remember to add the correct cable for your motorcycle: 4, 5 or 8 pin.

If you have any doubts about which combination to order, write to us with your model and year before purchasing.

Installation and Use

  • Connect via a relay with a dedicated fuse, never branching off an existing circuit.
  • Check the electrical system's margin: a pair of 15,000 lumens adds a significant load.
  • Adjust the beam's inclination so that it doesn't blind oncoming traffic: this is the most important check and the most often skipped.
  • The approval concerns the device. The installation and use conditions on the vehicle remain subject to the Highway Code.

How does it work, in detail?

ECE R149 Approved

ECE R149 Approved

L'L11 has ECE approval E57*149R00/06*1186 under UN Regulation R149.00: both the low beam and high beam are approved.

Almost all aftermarket auxiliary lights are sold with the clause “for off-road use only.” The complete certificate can be downloaded at the bottom of the page.

Controls with BMW Wonder Wheel

Controls with BMW Wonder Wheel

With the LOBOO LC081 CAN-Bus controller and the cable dedicated to your motorcycle, you can control the auxiliary lights using the original BMW Wonder Wheel: power, brightness, and warning modes, without adding a single switch to the handlebar.

The controller and cable are separate items, and the cable varies by model: 4-pin for the R 1200 and R 1250 GS, 5-pin for the R 1300 GS, and 8-pin for the F series. You can find both on the LC081 controller page.

The quick-release mechanism is a separate accessory.

The quick-release mechanism is a separate accessory.

The LOBOO Q7 quick-release mount is optional and not included. It adds a mount that can be removed without tools, with a keyed lock and a waterproof connector that closes back onto the base without leaving exposed contacts.

It solves two different problems: in the city, you can take the lights with you instead of leaving them in plain sight, and on technical off-road sections, you avoid exposing the lenses to branches.

Fifteen thousand lumens across eight levels

Fifteen thousand lumens across eight levels

The claimed maximum output is 15,000 lumens, with eight brightness levels. It’s not a number to show off: it’s why the levels are useful.

In a group or behind a car, keep the brightness low without switching it off, and increase it when the road gets truly dark.

A tap of the horn and they flash

A tap of the horn and they flash

By synchronizing the headlights with the horn, each time you honk, a high-intensity flash is also triggered. A combined audible and visual signal is much more noticeable than either one alone, especially from a car with the windows closed.

Three standalone flashing modes are also available.

IP68 and automatic thermal protection

IP68 and automatic thermal protection

CNC-machined aluminum alloy body, IP68-rated protection, and automatic adjustment that reduces power when the temperature rises.

It’s what keeps the LEDs running during long stretches at low speed, when airflow isn’t enough to cool them.

FAQs

For more information, please see our FAQ.

Is it approved for road use?

Yes. The L11 has ECE type approval E57*149R00/06*1186 under UN Regulation R149.00, with both dipped-beam and main-beam functions approved. The full certificate can be downloaded from the product page.

You are responsible for verifying the installation requirements set out in the Highway Code for your vehicle.

What is included in the package?

The pair of headlights, the mounting collars for 22, 25, and 28 mm tubes, the eight-level aluminum adjustment ring, the complete wiring harness with fuse holder and relay, the cable for synchronized flashing with the horn, screws, Allen key, threadlocker, cable ties, and gloves.

The 32 and 38 mm collars and the quick-release mount are separate accessories.

How is it controlled? Is a handlebar switch required?

The kit includes its own controller. On BMW motorcycles, with the optional CAN-BUS module, you can instead control everything using the original Multi-Controller wheel on the handlebar, without adding any switches.

Write to us with your BMW model and year, and we’ll tell you which module is right.

Which motorcycles do they fit?

L'L11 is a universal light: what changes from bike to bike is the mount, not the light. It attaches to crash bars, handlebars, or dedicated brackets.

At Endurrad, you'll find the Q7S quick-release mount, compatible with the L7S, L7Q, L11, L16, and L18S, as well as mounts dedicated to individual models. Send us the make, model, and year, and we'll point you to the right solution.

Why are eight brightness levels needed?

Because 15,000 lumens is almost always too much. In the city, in a group, or behind a car, a light at full power is a problem for others: with the different levels, you can keep it on low instead of turning it off.

Full power remains available when the road is truly dark and there’s no one to dazzle.

How much power do they draw? Can the motorcycle’s electrical system handle them?

A pair of 15,000-lumen headlights adds a significant load to the electrical system. On motorcycles whose alternator is already strained by heated grips, a heated jacket, and USB accessories, the available margin quickly shrinks.

Always connect them through a relay with a dedicated fuse, never by tapping into an existing circuit.
