The included strap turns the bag into a proper waist pack, not a makeshift alternative. With a 225 × 178 mm base, it sits securely around your waist without swinging, and your documents stay where you put them.

On the lower section, a zipper opens a gusset: the bag expands in height and gains about a liter of capacity. Closed, it stays compact for the daily commute; open, it accommodates a rain jacket or a sweater taken off halfway through the day.

The adjustment can be made while riding, without removing the bag or using tools.

The main compartment holds lightweight gloves, a skullcap, or a neck warmer; the slimmer front compartment keeps documents, cards, and keys separate, complete with a keychain carabiner.

With a 2.5-liter bag, organization isn’t a minor detail: it’s what keeps you from emptying everything onto the tank to find the registration document.

The two highly reflective strips are positioned on the sides, where they really make a difference: they catch the headlights of anyone approaching from the right or left at an intersection. They do not replace a high-visibility vest, but add two points of light at tank height without compromising the look during the day.

On the same side, there is a cable pass-through: keep your phone or power bank inside the bag and run the cable out to the handlebar mount without leaving the zipper partially open.

The base has a water-repellent coating and rubber strips that stop water rising from the tank; the zippers are customized YKK. The dedicated cover slips on in seconds and stays compressed in a corner of the compartment when not needed.

The adapter ring must be purchased separately and is specific to your motorcycle. Installation is simple: remove the original filler cap screws, insert the supplied aluminum bushings, position the ring with the opening facing toward the rear of the motorcycle, and re-tighten the screws. Some shaped rings instead use 3M adhesive and do not require touching the screws.

Once installed, it stays there. From then on, the bag attaches and detaches in a second.

On various motorcycles, the cap’s bolt pattern is not circular, so LOBOO produces shaped rings that follow its profile. The installation sequence does not change: remove the original screws, place the aluminum bushings in the seats, fit the ring on top, and screw it back on.

The magnetic attachment to the bag is identical across the entire range; only the side facing the tank changes.

There is also an adapter base with 3M adhesive for caps where it is best not to tamper with the hardware. Degrease the cap with an alcohol-soaked cotton pad, align the three reference points printed on the base, and press down.

No screws to undo, but cleaning the surface becomes the crucial step: the adhesive is what supports the bag’s load.

Mounted, it stays low and close around the cap, without reaching the handlebars or windscreen. It has the footprint of a 2.5-liter bag: you can ride without noticing it, even standing on the foot pegs.

Two measurements to take before ordering. LOBOO requires at least 70 mm between the handlebar mount and the fuel tank cap: below that distance, the bag interferes with steering at full lock. And if you have moved the handlebars farther back than the stock position, the manufacturer advises against installing it.
