Complete kit for KOVE 800X from 2023 onward: the pair of JP661B side racks plus the two PIKE TRACKER aluminum panniers with capacities of 35 and 30 liters, in the finish of your choice. One order, nothing else to match.

Why the two sides have different capacities

The right P30R pannier is shaped to clear the exhaust: it is deeper at the top (227 mm internal) than at the bottom (167 mm), which is why it holds 30 liters. The left P35L, without that constraint, holds 35 liters.

Dimensions and weights stated by LOBOO

The pair weighs 11.6 kg when empty, excluding the racks. These dimensions are based on manual measurements and therefore have a tolerance.

LOBOO states that the panniers do not let water in, even in heavy rain, but does not publish an IP rating, so we do not state one.

The racks and installation

The JP661B racks are installed in four steps, one for removal and three for installation, without drilling, using M8 bolts tightened to 20 N·m and threadlocker included in the package. The parts list and sequence are on the KOVE 800X side racks page, together with the downloadable manual. The panniers attach only to LOBOO racks.

What is not included

The top case and the JPT661W top case plate are sold separately. Each pannier has its own sensor light in the lid: the kit includes two, one for each side.

Before ordering

If you already have the racks, you can purchase just the panniers from the PIKE TRACKER series page. If you prefer semi-rigid panniers, the same racks accept the WANDERER panniers. LOBOO does not state a maximum load for each pannier: the maximum load specified by KOVE for the motorcycle applies.

Aluminum PIKE TRACKER suitcases

LOBOO's aluminum series, with the right case shaped around the exhaust. The KOVE 800X kit includes the P35L on the left and the P30R on the right: 65 liters in total.

The P30R is deeper at the top (227 mm internal) than at the bottom (167 mm), allowing it to clear the muffler. The lower corner has a large radius covered in high-strength engineering plastic, which protects the edge of the case in the event of a slide.

The shell is made of high-strength aluminum alloy: LOBOO describes it as sturdy, lighter, and difficult to break. The lower corners are protected by plastic bumpers.

LOBOO states that water does not get in even during thunderstorms, but it does not publish an IP rating for the cases. For electronics and documents, an internal dry bag is still advisable.

It turns on automatically when you open the suitcase. It attaches with magnets, features high-brightness LEDs, four intensity levels, a flashing mode, and an IP54 rating. With the included strap, it becomes a headlamp. The kit includes one for each suitcase.

Montaggio e requisiti

Come si monta

  1. Telai JP661B, distinta di 11 voci per 23 pezzi: telaio sinistro, telaio destro, traversa inferiore, 2 distanziali Ø20×Ø8,5×7 mm, 1 da Ø20×Ø8,5×3 mm, 4 viti M8×20, 1 M8×25, 2 M8×30, 1 M8×50, 8 rondelle M8 e il frenafiletti.
  2. Coppia di serraggio: 20 N·m, uguale su tutte le viti M8.
  3. Tre viti sono in pezzo singolo, la M8×25, la M8×50 e uno dei distanziali: non distribuirle a caso, guarda lo schema.
  4. Il montaggio riutilizza anche viti originali della moto, indicate come OEM sullo schema: rimontale alle coppie KOVE.
  5. Le valigie si agganciano ai telai a sgancio rapido, senza attrezzi, e si montano solo su telai LOBOO.

Il produttore chiede di non serrare a fondo durante il montaggio: si presentano i pezzi, si completano le regolazioni e solo alla fine si dà la coppia in sequenza, con una chiave dinamometrica.

Uso su strada. Il carico non deve coprire targa e luci posteriori né sporgere oltre i limiti del Codice della Strada.

  • Chi ha una KOVE 800X e parte da zero: telai e valigie compatibili in un solo ordine.
  • Chi viaggia con bagaglio da proteggere: valigie rigide in alluminio, chiuse a chiave.
  • Chi ha già i telai JP661B: meglio le sole valigie dalla pagina della serie PIKE TRACKER.
  • Chi preferisce le semirigide: gli stessi telai accettano le WANDERER.
  • Chi vuole anche il bauletto: aggiunge la piastra JPT661W, venduta a parte.

For the KOVE 800X from 2023 onward: this is the model specified by both the JP661B frame manual and the LOBOO panels. The other 800X versions are not mentioned in the manufacturer's sources: if you have a different version, contact us before ordering.

What material are the suitcases in the kit made of?

Aluminum alloy, with the lower corners covered in high-strength technical plastic that protects the edge in the event of a slide. Available in polished silver or matte black, in the same sizes.

Are the suitcases waterproof?
