Pair of folding rearview mirrors LOBOO RM03-Lite, right and left. This is the lightweight version of the RM03: approximately 395 g per mirror, over one hundred grams less than the other models in the range.

Where the weight savings come from

The arm is still made of CNC-machined aluminum alloy, while the housing that holds the lens is injection-molded PC+ABS with a textured surface, instead of aluminum. The lens is not compromised: 157.9 × 101.6 mm, practically the same size as the RM03's.

Hardware is not included

The package contains only the pair of mirrors. To install them, you need the adapter kit corresponding to your mounting point, which is sold separately.

Before installing them

What matters is not the motorcycle model but the original mirror's screw: diameter, pitch, and thread direction. Several motorcycles use a reverse thread on the left side. Try turning it by hand for at least five turns; if you feel resistance, stop. Do not fully tighten it right away: make all adjustments first, then tighten it definitively.

Lens note: it is spherical, so objects appear smaller and seem farther away than they really are. Do not adjust the mirror while riding, and periodically check that it remains tight.

About 395 g compared with the 500 g of the other models in the range. The weight savings come from the lens housing, made of injection-molded PC+ABS with a textured surface instead of aluminum.

On a handlebar already loaded with mounts, a navigation device, and handguards, two hundred fewer grams at the ends are noticeable in the steering response.

Montaggio e requisiti

Come si monta

Istruzioni complete e note di sicurezza

Prima di montarli si rimuove lo specchietto originale ed eventuali viti adattatrici già presenti. Si prova la vite del kit adattatori sulla base: deve avvitarsi a mano, senza sforzo, per più di cinque giri. Alcuni modelli hanno filettatura destra e sinistra diverse, con filetto inverso sul lato sinistro.

Il manuale chiede di non serrare a fondo subito: si fanno prima tutte le regolazioni, poi si stringono le viti in sequenza. Ripiegati, destro e sinistro vanno sfalsati di qualche grado per non toccarsi. LOBOO consiglia una goccia di frenafiletti medio sulle viti di attacco e un controllo periodico del serraggio.

Manuale di montaggio. Il manuale LOBOO RM03-Lite è in otto lingue, italiano compreso, con il QR code del video di installazione. Lo trovi in questa sezione, da scaricare prima dell'acquisto.

Omologazione. LOBOO non pubblica un numero di omologazione per questi specchietti e la documentazione del produttore non ne riporta. Gli specchietti retrovisori sono un dispositivo di sicurezza regolato dal Codice della Strada: per l'uso stradale verifica i requisiti previsti per la tua moto.

Avvertenze del produttore. La lente è sferica: gli oggetti appaiono più piccoli che in uno specchio piano, quindi mantieni una distanza di sicurezza adeguata. Non regolare gli specchietti durante la guida e ricontrolla periodicamente il serraggio delle viti.

Garanzia. Garanzia legale di conformità di 24 mesi nei confronti di Endurrad. LOBOO dichiara inoltre un anno di garanzia del produttore.

È consigliato a chi:

  • guida una adventure o una touring e vuole specchietti pieghevoli al posto di quelli originali;
  • vuole il modello più leggero della gamma LOBOO, con la stessa lente grande dell'RM03;
  • parcheggia spesso in spazi stretti o trasporta la moto su furgone o carrello e ha bisogno di chiudere gli specchietti in un gesto;
  • viaggia anche di notte e soffre l'abbagliamento dei fari di chi segue.

Meglio un altro modello se:

  • vuoi la viteria di attacco già in confezione: con l'RM03-Lite serve il kit adattatori a parte, l'RM01 invece la include;
  • preferisci una scocca interamente in alluminio: è quella dell'RM03, a circa 500 g per specchietto;
  • ti serve un numero di omologazione stampato sul prodotto: LOBOO non ne pubblica uno per questo codice.

How do I know if they fit my motorcycle?

The motorcycle model does not matter, but the original mirror screw does: its diameter, thread pitch, and thread direction. Several motorcycles use a reverse thread on the left side. Remove the original screw, compare it, and try to screw it in by hand for at least five turns: if you feel resistance, stop. If in doubt, send us the make, model, and year, and we’ll verify compatibility before you place the order.

Do I have to buy the adapter kit as well?

Yes. Without the adapter kit, the mirror cannot be mounted on any motorcycle: the mounting hardware is not included in the package. The kit costs €4.50 and is specific to your motorcycle’s mounting system, so you need to choose the correct one. Use the selector at the top of this page: choose the make and model, then add it to your order with one click. The only exception in the range is the version designed for BMW motorcycles with the LCW system, which comes complete.

How do I know which kit my motorcycle needs?

The selector at the top of the page covers 17 brands and around fifty models from the manufacturer's official list: select the brand and model, and it will show you the correct part number, price, and availability. Note two cases where the model alone isn't enough: for the CFMOTO 800MT, the kit varies depending on whether handguards are fitted, while for the KTM 1290 Super Adventure R, it varies by year. If your motorcycle isn't listed, write to us with the brand, model, and year, and we'll check before you order.

What exactly is in the package?

The pair of mirrors, right and left, and the LOBOO installation manual in eight languages, including Italian, with the video’s QR code. Nothing else: the hardware for attaching them to the motorcycle must be added with the adapter kit, which you select from the selector at the top of the page.

What is the difference between RM03-Lite and RM03?

The dimensions are almost identical; the construction is different. The RM03-Lite has a CNC-machined aluminum-alloy arm, but the lens housing is made of injection-molded PC+ABS, and it weighs approximately 395 g per mirror; the RM03 is entirely aluminum and weighs around 500 g. The lens remains practically the same size. The RM03 is also listed as available in a silver finish.
