Description LOBOO CJC151-CN Side Stand Plate for BMW R 1300 GS and R 1300 GS Adventure | CNC aluminum, 117 g

The LOBOO CJC151-CN kickstand plate widens the foot of the side stand on the BMW R 1300 GS from 2023 onward and the R 1300 GS Adventure from 2024 onward. The original foot does not need to be removed: it remains enclosed between the base and the upper bracket, secured by three M5×10 screws.

Before ordering: check your stand’s code

The manufacturer states compatibility exclusively with original BMW side stands bearing codes 4653 5A8DC01 and 4653 1636279. The number is raised and molded onto the stand arm and can be read with the motorcycle stationary, without removing anything.

This check is worth making because the stand on the R 1300 GS varies by configuration: if yours has a different code, see the CJC132 plate for mechanical suspension or CJC131 for adaptive adjustment.

Construction

Two-piece construction in CNC-machined aluminum alloy: a ground-contact base and an upper bracket that clamps onto the original foot. Stated weight: 117 g. The anti-slip grooves are machined into the sides and bottom to prevent lateral sliding on sloping surfaces.

What the manual states

  • Compatibility: BMW R1300GS from 2023 onward and R1300GS Adventure from 2024 onward
  • Torque specifications and parts list provided in the manual in eight languages, included in the package
  • Do not fully tighten immediately: make the adjustments first, then tighten in sequence
  • Periodically check the mounting screws

A manufacturer’s note on road use

LOBOO warns that on asphalt, if the motorcycle’s setup changes—additional load, luggage, or suspension settings—the plate may not sit in full contact with the ground, which can accelerate wear. The manufacturer considers this normal and not detrimental to its function. We mention it because it is explicitly stated: the plate is designed for soft ground.

The manufacturer does not provide dimensions and also warns that measurements are taken by hand.

For other models, see all side stand plates.

Why choose it
Who is it recommended for

Documents and manufacturer

Look at the code on your stand

Look at the code on your stand

This is the most important condition on this page. LOBOO declares compatibility exclusively with the original BMW side stands bearing codes 4653 5A8DC01 and 4653 1636279. The number is cast in raised lettering on the stand arm and can be read with the motorcycle stationary, without removing anything.

On the R 1300 GS, the side stand varies by configuration, so the model alone is not enough: the code is required. If you read a different one on yours, send us a photo and we’ll tell you which plate is right for you.

A single plate for GS and Adventure

A single plate for GS and Adventure

The manual lists two motorcycles for this code: BMW R 1300 GS from 2023 and R 1300 GS Adventure from 2024. At the stand, the two share the same mounting point, so the part is the same.

The CJC132 and CJC131 plates remain distinct, intended respectively for mechanical suspension and adaptive height adjustment. The determining factor is always the code stamped on the stand.

It’s not the motorcycle’s weight that makes it sink

It’s not the motorcycle’s weight that makes it sink

Sinking depends on ground pressure, not total weight—but on a loaded R 1300 GS Adventure, the two go hand in hand. The stock kickstand concentrates the entire load on just a few square centimeters and sinks into packed dirt, gravel, or wet grass.

The plate distributes the same load over a much larger area. It does not eliminate the risk: assessing the surface you park on remains your responsibility.

The original foot stays where it is

The original foot stays where it is

LOBOO calls it a drill-free installation, designed using the vehicle’s original data: the factory foot is not removed but enclosed between the base and the upper bracket, secured by three M5×10 screws.

No drilling, no welding. Just three screws to return to the original configuration.

Tread grooves that bite into the ground

Tread grooves that bite into the ground

The grooves are machined into the sides and bottom. They prevent lateral slipping: on a sloping surface, a smooth plate can slide, and widening the support without providing grip would solve only half the problem.

A T25 Torx is needed, not an Allen key.

A T25 Torx is needed, not an Allen key.

The supplied key is a T25 Torx, because the screws have a star-shaped recess rather than a hexagonal one. The specified torque is 5 N·m for all three M5×10 screws.

The manufacturer asks that you do not fully tighten them immediately: first align everything, then tighten them in sequence, and check them again periodically.

An honest note from the manufacturer

An honest note from the manufacturer

LOBOO warns that on asphalt, if the motorcycle's setup changes—additional load, luggage, suspension adjustment—the plate may not rest in full contact with the ground, which can accelerate its wear. The manufacturer considers this normal and not detrimental to its function.

This is worth keeping in mind on a motorcycle with adaptive height adjustment. The plate is designed for soft ground, not asphalt.

Before and after, on clay courts

Before and after, on clay courts

The LOBOO mounting panel shows the same kickstand on the same ground: without the plate, the tip sinks into the soil; with the plate, it remains supported. On a motorcycle weighing over 200 kg fully loaded, that is the difference between finding it standing and finding it lying on its side.

FAQs

For more information, please see our FAQ.

How do I know if I have the right stand?

The code is cast in relief on the side-stand arm and can be read with the motorcycle stationary, without removing anything. It must be 4653 5A8DC01 or 4653 1636279: these are the only two original stands for which LOBOO states that this code is compatible. If you read something different or cannot read it, send us a photo and we will verify it.

What is the difference compared with the CJC132 and CJC131 plates?

They are different codes for the same motorcycle, distinguished by the kickstand mount. The CJC132 is specified for mechanical suspension and the CJC131 for adaptive height adjustment; this CJC151-CN is specified for the original kickstands 4653 5A8DC01 and 4653 1636279.

The safest way to choose is to read the code on the kickstand. If you prefer, write to us with your motorcycle’s configuration and we’ll tell you the right part.

Does it also fit the R 1300 GS Adventure?

Yes. The manual lists the BMW R 1300 GS from 2023 and the R 1300 GS Adventure from 2024: the two motorcycles share the same mounting point on the stand. Verifying the code stamped on the arm is still recommended.

Does the original kickstand foot need to be removed?

No. The LOBOO manual describes a drilling-free installation: the stock foot remains in place, enclosed between the base and the upper bracket and secured with three M5×10 screws. No permanent modification to the motorcycle.

What tools are needed, and what’s included in the package?

The package includes the base, bracket, three M5×10 screws, a T25 Torx key, and threadlocker. The screws have Torx heads, not hex, so an Allen key will not work. To achieve the specified torque of 5 N·m on all three, you need a torque wrench.

Why does the manufacturer mention wear on the asphalt?

LOBOO warns that on paved roads, if the setup changes due to load, luggage, or suspension adjustment, the plate may not rest fully against the ground: the load is concentrated on part of the edge, accelerating wear. The manufacturer considers this normal and not detrimental to its function. The plate is designed for soft terrain.

How much does it weigh, and how big is it?

The stated weight is 117 g. The dimensions, however, are not provided, and the manufacturer warns that measurements are taken manually and may have tolerances. If you need the exact dimensions, ask us and we’ll measure the item in stock.

Change the parked motorcycle's lean angle?

A little, yes. Adding thickness beneath the foot slightly raises the contact point, so the bike remains a touch more upright. LOBOO states this for the entire range and considers it an advantage: on a loaded GS, a few fewer degrees make it easier to bring back upright.

Does it interfere with the center stand?

No: the plate only acts on the side stand and has no effect on the geometry or operation of any center stand. They are two independent systems.

Is maintenance required after assembly?

The manufacturer asks you to check the fastening screws periodically, in addition to checking them after the first few uses. This part bears the weight of the motorcycle every time you park it, and the threadlocker provided is intended specifically for this purpose.

Is it an original LOBOO product, and how does shipping work?

Yes: genuine, new LOBOO product in the manufacturer's packaging, purchased through the official distributor for Italy. The CJC151-CN code is engraved on the base of the part. Tracked shipping throughout Italy, free for orders over 100 euros; in Europe, over 250 euros.

What warranty does it have, and can I return it?

The product is covered by the 24-month statutory consumer guarantee of conformity. In the event of a defect, we will handle the claim with the manufacturer. You also have 14 days from receipt to exercise your right of withdrawal by returning the product intact and in its original packaging.
