Description LOBOO Kickstand Plate for BMW R 1300 GS and Adventure | CJC132 mechanical suspension or CJC131 adaptive suspension, CNC aluminum, 130 g

The LOBOO side-stand plate broadens the foot of the side stand on the BMW R 1300 GS from 2023 onward: when parked, the motorcycle's weight is distributed over a much larger area instead of the few square centimetres of the standard foot. CNC-machined high-strength aluminum alloy, stated weight 130 g.

Before ordering: two codes, not interchangeable

LOBOO makes two separate plates for this motorcycle because the stand arm changes depending on the suspension configuration.

  • CJC132 — R 1300 GS from 2023 onward, without adaptive height adjustment
  • CJC131 — R 1300 GS from 2023 onward and R 1300 GS Adventure from 2024 onward with adaptive height adjustment (AVHC), stated only for the original BMW stand 46531638616

The stand number is cast in relief on the arm and can be read with the motorcycle stationary, without removing anything: it is the most reliable check, and thirty seconds can save you a return. You will find both versions in this page's selector.

How it is made

Two-piece construction: the black base rests on the ground, while the silver aluminum cover clamps over the original foot; three M5×10 screws hold the assembly together. The standard foot is not removed and nothing is drilled — LOBOO calls this non-destructive installation and states that it developed the shape using the vehicle's original data.

Anti-slip grooves are machined into the sides and bottom of the base to prevent lateral sliding on sloping surfaces: widening the contact area without adding grip would solve only half the problem.

What the manual states

  • Contents: base, cover, 3 M5×10 screws, Torx T25 key, single-use threadlocker
  • Tightening torque: 5 N·m for all three screws
  • Do not fully tighten immediately: make all adjustments first, then perform the final tightening in sequence
  • Periodically check the mounting screws
  • Manual in eight languages included in the package, one for each code

A manufacturer's note on road use

LOBOO warns that on asphalt, if the motorcycle's setup changes — additional load, luggage, or suspension settings — the plate may not sit in full contact with the ground, which can accelerate its wear. The manufacturer considers this normal and not detrimental to its function. We mention it because it is stated by the manufacturer: the plate is designed for yielding surfaces.

The manufacturer does not specify the dimensions and also warns that measurements are taken by hand. It does not fit the R 1200 GS or R 1250 GS: the stand foot has a different design.

A third code exists for the same motorcycle, CJC151-CN, stated for original stands 4653 5A8DC01 and 4653 1636279. For other models, see all side-stand plates.

  • You park outdoors in summer, when the asphalt softens

With the R 1300 GS, the side stand foot has changed compared with the previous generation: the plates for the R 1200 and R 1250 are not interchangeable. This is the CJC132, designed for the new mounting point and suitable for both the GS and the GS Adventure.

Le due foto del produttore mostrano la stessa moto sullo stesso terreno smosso: senza piastra il piede taglia il terreno e affonda, con la piastra resta in superficie.

È il caso d'uso per cui la piastra nasce — sosta su terra battuta, ghiaia, erba, sabbia — ed è la condizione in cui una GS carica ha meno margine.

Prima dell'acquisto LOBOO mette per iscritto un limite che vale la pena conoscere: su asfalto, se l'assetto della moto cambia — peso aggiuntivo, bagagli, taratura delle sospensioni — la piastra può non appoggiare a pieno contatto con il suolo, e questo può accelerarne l'usura.

Il produttore lo considera normale e non pregiudizievole per la funzione. Lo riportiamo perché è dichiarato: la piastra nasce per i fondi cedevoli, non per correggere l'altezza della moto.

Come scelgo fra CJC132 e CJC131?

Guarda l'allestimento della sospensione. Se la tua R 1300 GS ha la regolazione adattiva dell'altezza (Adaptive Vehicle Height Control) ti serve il CJC131; se non ce l'ha, ti serve il CJC132.

La conferma definitiva è il numero fuso sul braccio del cavalletto: il CJC131 è dichiarato dal produttore solo per il cavalletto originale BMW 46531638616.

Dove si legge il codice del cavalletto originale?

Is it suitable for both the R 1300 GS and the GS Adventure?

Yes. The CJC132 plate is designed for the side stand of the R 1300 GS and fits both the standard and Adventure versions, which share the same foot.

Can I install it on an R 1250 GS?

No. The stand for the R 1300 GS has been redesigned compared with the previous generation. The dedicated plate is required for the R 1200 GS and R 1250 GS and is available on a separate page.

Is there a third plate for the R 1300 GS?

Yes: the CJC151-CN code is specified for the R 1300 GS from 2023 and the Adventure from 2024, but under a different condition: it applies only to the original side stands with codes 4653 5A8DC01 and 4653 1636279, with the number cast in relief on the stand arm.

The two plates on this page are instead selected based on the suspension setup. If you can read one of those two codes on your stand, see the CJC151-CN page; if you cannot read it, send us a photo and we will identify the correct part for you.
