Description Barkbusters EGO-201 full handguards for 22 mm straight handlebars
The EGO-201 is the complete handguard from the EGO series for 22 mm straight handlebars. Barkbusters calls it, without hesitation, its toughest handguard ever, and it is the longest-running model in the range: in production for over twenty years.
Complete kit: heat-treated aluminium backbone, EGO plastics, and hardware. You do not need to buy anything else to install it.
Two mounting points, full wraparound protection
The aluminium bar wraps all the way around the hand, from the end of the handlebar to a clamp on the straight section. This enclosed geometry is what withstands impacts, and Barkbusters states that its two-point products are designed for impact protection.
Compact profile for single-track riding
The EGO was designed for enduro and trail riding, especially in tight woodland: its profile is compact, and the rounded shape helps it slide past branches and obstacles instead of catching on them. The plastics have upper air vents for summer comfort.
A warning worth reading
The manufacturer warns that the EGO is not ideal for motorcycles with long clutch and brake levers: the compact profile may interfere with them. If that is your case, the correct choice is the JET-001, which Barkbusters specifically recommends for motorcycles with long levers and which fits the same handlebar.
