Description Mini 12V motorcycle battery charger powered by USB

A motorcycle battery charger measuring 6.9 cm long, powered via a USB-A port: a phone charger, computer port, or power bank. That is the difference between keeping the battery in good condition and being unable to do so, because the place where the motorcycle is parked is almost never near a power outlet.

Six stages, no settings

This is not a trickle charger. The cycle goes through six stages — diagnosis, activation, rapid charging, and then automatic maintenance — and LOBOO states that it provides smart charging with no settings: there are no selectors to adjust and no battery type to choose. Plug it in and it gets to work.

For aging batteries, there is Softstart mode, which avoids aggressive charging that a weakened battery could not handle.

The cable stays on the motorcycle

The package includes a quick-connect cable: connect it once to the battery terminals and route it out from under the seat. From then on, the charger attaches with a click, without removing anything or searching for the clamps in the dark.

What it can charge

12 V lead-acid and lithium iron phosphate batteries, with capacities from 4 to 35 Ah. That covers motorcycles, scooters, and quads; a car battery, typically between 45 and 70 Ah, is outside its range.

Three integrated protections: short circuit, overcharging, and reverse polarity.

It is not a jump starter

It is worth stating clearly: with an input of 5 to 18 W, you should think in hours, not minutes. This device is designed to keep the battery healthy and restore it gradually, not to get you back on the road in five minutes from a parking lot. For that, you need a booster.

If instead you are looking for a fixed outlet on the motorcycle to power your phone and devices while riding, the 130 W dual USB-C outlet is a different product for a different job.

Why choose it
  • USB-A powered: works with phone charger, laptop port, or power bank. No wall outlet needed.
  • Only 6.9cm: fits in your pocket, saddlebags, or top case without taking up space.
  • Six-stage intelligence: diagnoses, activates, charges, and maintains automatically. Not just a trickle maintainer.
  • Softstart mode: protects older batteries from aggressive charging.
  • Dual chemistry: lead-acid and lithium, one charger for all motorcycles.
Who is it recommended for

It's the right choice if:

  • You want a charger to always carry on your motorcycle, not a garage one
  • You park on the street or in a garage without a power outlet
  • You have multiple motorcycles with different battery chemistries and don't want two devices
  • Your motorcycle sits idle for periods and the battery drains

If you also need to power laptops and devices while riding, the C36 adds 130W output and bidirectional input.

Documents and manufacturer

Use and safety

  • Certifications declared by the manufacturer: CE, FCC, ROHS and GB standards.
  • 5W to 18W USB-A input: use an adequate power supply for reasonable charging times.
  • Observe polarity when connecting to battery terminals.
  • USB power adapter and power bank not included.

How does it work, in detail?

Six charging stages in a 6.9 cm object

Six charging stages in a 6.9 cm object

It's about as long as a lighter but does the job of a bench charger: six automatically managed charging stages for 12 V lead-acid and lithium iron phosphate batteries.

A USB-A plug on one end, the cable that connects to the battery on the other. Nothing to set up in between.

It fits in the palm of a hand

It fits in the palm of a hand

A traditional maintainer takes up the space of a book and stays attached to the garage outlet. This one is 6.9 cm long and weighs as much as a cable: it fits under the seat, in your jacket pocket, or in the top case without making you decide what to leave at home.

It’s the difference between having it when you need it and having left it at the workshop.

It plugs into any USB port, even a power bank

It plugs into any USB port, even a power bank

The input is a standard USB-A port and supports up to 18 W. A phone charger, tablet charger, power bank, computer port, or portable camping power station will work.

That’s why this charger works where others can’t: in a garage without power, in the yard, or in a hotel parking lot halfway through a trip.

With the power adapter you already have at home

With the power adapter you already have at home

In everyday use, the setup is as follows: a USB power adapter plugged into the power strip, a cable running to the motorcycle, and a connector that snaps into place. No extra device to buy and no dedicated outlet to free up.

The more powerful the power adapter, the faster the charging: with 18 W of input, the charger delivers 1.25 A; with 12 W, it drops to 0.8 A; with 5 W, to 0.35 A.

What do the six phases really do

What do the six phases really do

Soft start: before supplying current, the charger diagnoses the battery so that any short circuit does not produce sparks. Activation: if the voltage is between 3 and 10.5 V, the battery is awakened before charging. Fast charging: above 10.5 V, charging switches to a maximum of 2 A.

It then charges at medium speed to limit the emission of acidic gases, with final absorption at a constant 14.6 V up to 100 percent, followed by automatic maintenance. Stages three and four alternate until the voltage reaches 14.6 V. You do not touch anything: there is not a single button to press.

Three protections, because work is performed on the terminals

Three protections, because work is performed on the terminals

Inside the transparent casing is a control chip with three safeguards: protection against reverse polarity, overcharging, and short circuits. If you reverse the red and black wires, it simply won't start instead of being damaged.

The limited current is part of the same principle: slow charging puts less strain on the battery than fast charging, and for a battery that has already seen a few seasons, that's exactly what's needed.

Lead-acid or lithium, from 4 to 35 Ah

Lead-acid or lithium, from 4 to 35 Ah

It works with lead-acid batteries, including sealed and AGM batteries, as well as lithium iron phosphate batteries. One device for every motorcycle in the garage, with no selectors to switch.

The capacity range is from 4 to 35 Ah, covering motorcycles, scooters, and ATVs. Above 20 Ah, LOBOO recommends powering it with an 18 W charger; otherwise, charging times become considerably longer.

The cable with the eyelets stays on the battery

The package includes a two-part cable with a quick-connect plug. The short section has fork terminals: attach it once under the battery terminal bolts and leave it there, with the plug extending from under the seat.

From then on, you don’t need to remove anything to recharge: connect, disconnect, and ride off. It works like a garage battery maintainer, but everything fits in your pocket.

FAQs

For more information, please see our FAQ.

Does it require a power outlet to use?

No, and that’s its main strength. It is powered via USB-A, so it works with your phone charger, a laptop port, or a power bank. When traveling, you can also recharge the motorcycle battery where there’s no wall outlet.

What's in the package?

The charger, the quick-connect cable, three cable ties for securing the wiring along the frame, the manual in eight languages, and a reminder card for battery maintenance.

The quick-connect cable is left connected to the terminals and routed out from under the seat: red to positive, black to negative. From then on, you connect the charger with a click, without touching the clamps.

The USB power adapter or power bank is not included: you will use the one you already have.

What do the green and red indicator lights mean?

There are two, and they say everything you need to know. Slowly flashing green: the battery is charging. Solid green: charging is complete, and the charger has switched to maintenance mode.

Solid red means something is wrong, and the manual lists four causes: the charger is powered but not connected to the battery, the battery voltage is below 3 V, there is a short circuit, or you have reversed the positive and negative terminals. Check them in this order; in most cases, the connector has not made contact.

Is it suitable for both lead-acid and lithium batteries?

Yes, it supports both battery chemistries: one charger for all the motorcycles in your garage. Softstart mode is designed for aging batteries, which an aggressive charge could damage.

Is it also suitable for a car battery?

No. The stated capacity is 4–35 Ah, covering motorcycle, scooter, and quad batteries: a car battery is generally between 45 and 70 Ah, so it falls outside the range. At 12 V, it also works with other vehicles, provided the capacity falls within that range.

Do I need to set the battery type before connecting it?

No. LOBOO provides smart charging with no settings: the charger detects the battery’s condition and automatically selects the appropriate profile, progressing through six stages until maintenance mode. There are no selectors or buttons to press.

How long does it take to recharge the battery?

LOBOO does not state the charging times, and they would be of limited significance anyway: they depend on the power of the charger you use, which can range from 5 to 18 W, the battery capacity, and how discharged it is.

The order of magnitude should nevertheless be clarified: this is a maintenance and slow-recovery device, not a jump starter. With 18 W of input power, you are looking at hours, not minutes. If your motorcycle has left you stranded and you need to get going again immediately, what you need is a booster.

Can I leave it connected all winter?

The last of the six stages is automatic maintenance, so yes, it is also designed for long periods of inactivity. The difference compared with a garage battery maintainer is that power here comes through a USB port: if you unplug the power adapter, maintenance stops.

For storage lasting months, keep a mains-powered USB adapter connected and check occasionally that it is still receiving power.

What happens if I get the polarity wrong?

The charger has three built-in protections: against short circuits, overcharging, and reverse polarity. If you reverse the positive and negative connections, it will not start rather than become damaged.

It is still good practice to connect according to the cable colors: red to positive, black to negative.

Is the product covered by a warranty?

Yes: all LOBOO products sold on Endurrad are covered by the 24-month statutory consumer warranty. In the event of a lack of conformity, we will handle the claim with the manufacturer.

Can I return the product if it isn’t suitable?

Yes, you are entitled to return the item within 14 days of delivery under online purchase regulations. The product must be intact and in its original packaging: contact us and we’ll guide you through the process.

How does shipping work?

Tracked shipping throughout Italy: the product is carefully inspected and prepared before leaving our warehouse. The mounting accessories included in the original package are included.

Can I pay in installments?

Yes: at checkout, installment payment services are available directly among the payment methods, with no additional paperwork.

Is it an original LOBOO product?

Yes: we sell exclusively original LOBOO products, new and in the packaging provided by the manufacturer, with official documentation.
