Lithium motorcycle battery with integrated protection electronics.
All you need to know before ordering
Technical specifications, equipment, delivery, and warranty: find every detail, verified against official LOBOO documentation, below.
The LOBOO lithium battery is a 12.8 V lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) motorcycle starting battery, available in two sizes: the 6 Ah, 300 A CL6F-U for motorcycles up to 900 cc, and the 12 Ah, 600 A CL12F-U for most liter-class motorcycles. According to the manufacturer, it weighs about half as much as a lead-acid battery and incorporates six electronic protections.

How it is made
- 45C discharge rate: in LOBOO's comparison, the 6 Ah model starts like a 20 Ah lead-acid battery, while the 12 Ah model performs like a 40 Ah battery.
- Two pairs of positive and negative terminals made of nickel-plated copper: they fit motorcycles with cables oriented differently and make it easier to connect accessories.
- Six protections: short circuit, overcharging, over-discharging, overcurrent, overheating, and cell balancing.
- Resin-filled and sealed cells, isolated from the air, in a self-extinguishing V0-rated housing.
- Cold temperatures: LOBOO states that it has a heating function for low-temperature charging. The manuals specify a charging temperature of 0–45 °C and an operating temperature of −20 to 60 °C.
- Self-discharge of less than 1% per month and more than 2,000 charge cycles, according to the manufacturer's laboratory data.
Before ordering
Compare the dimensions and terminal positions with the original battery: the polarity and position must match. If the lithium battery is smaller than the compartment, the manual recommends compensating with the supplied adhesive foam pad. Charging requires a lithium-compatible charger, such as the C20Pro mini charger, which LOBOO also recommends for reactivating the battery after over-discharge.
It is not declared waterproof: the manual states that it must not be exposed to rain or immersed in water. LOBOO covers it with a free 5-year replacement in the event of quality defects.
Also compare the other motorcycle batteries and chargers and choose the right configuration for your next trip.
