Description Top Case Plate for KOVE 800X from 2023 | top case mount
It is the base that allows you to mount a top case on the KOVE 800X from 2023 onward. It rests on the original rear luggage rack with four spacers inserted between them: there is nothing to remove from the motorcycle; the manual does not require any removal.
The simplest installation in the range
The package contains four items: the plate, four 12 mm spacers, four M8×30 screws, and the key. Nothing else. It is the most basic kit among all LOBOO plates and can be installed in two steps.
The torque is 20 N·m: here the screws are M8, not M6 as on many other plates in the range, so the value is higher. As always, complete the adjustments first, then tighten to the specified torque in sequence. The manual is available in eight languages, including Italian.
Which top cases you can mount
The manual lists the PIKE TRACKER, TIBET and CONQUEROR series for this plate. The top case is not included: this page concerns the plate only, and LOBOO aluminium top cases can only be mounted on LOBOO plates and luggage racks.
The complete system
The plate mounts on the rear subframe; the JP661B side pannier racks, which have their own page, are mounted on the sides. Together, they complete the 800X luggage system.
The rear load has a limit
LOBOO does not specify a maximum load for the plate itself: the limit indicated by KOVE in the owner's manual for the rear luggage rack applies, and includes the plate, top case, and contents. Check the fasteners again after the first 100–200 km and make sure the top case does not obscure the licence plate or rear lights.
The plate material is not specified by any LOBOO source, including the manual.

I installed the JADO S6 on my BMW GS (non-"dedicated" version), and although I don't use the BMW base, the display and features are still top notch.
