Assembly

  1. Free the handlebar ends by removing the standard bar-end weights.
  2. Place the frame without tightening and check that levers and cables remain free when the steering is turned.
  3. Lock the inner fastening, then the one on the end.
  4. Complete tightening to the manufacturer's torque specifications and recheck after 100 km.

Tightening torques and full sequence in the official Barkbusters instructions (INS-BHG-067-00-BK).

Frequently asked questions

My Ducati is not in the table: can I still mount it?
No. The kit is designed based on the handlebar geometry of the 6 models listed. Both the model and the year are needed: a Ducati Scrambler 1100 from a different year may require a different kit.

Are the protective plastics included?
No. Barkbusters sells the frame and plastics separately: here there is only the aluminum frame with the screws. JET, VPS, STORM, and CARBON plastics are ordered separately and are interchangeable.

What is the difference compared to single-point versions?
The double point is indicated by the manufacturer for impact protection, the single point only for wind and weather.
