The LOBOO installation manual states “Husqvarna Norden 901 (-2025)”: compatibility extends through model year 2025. The manufacturer’s product page lists 2023 as the starting year, so the stated range is 2023–2025. If you have a 2022 Norden or one from 2026 onward, contact us before ordering.

The manual’s parts list includes 21 items: the right and left bars, two right and left brackets, spacers and bushings, M8 screws measuring 20 to 80 mm, four 30 mm M6 screws, M6 and M8 washers, a self-locking nut, and an assembly wrench. Nothing else needs to be purchased.

Only the appearance. Silver is exposed stainless steel, satin-finished by sandblasting and electropolishing; black has a satin finish from electrostatic painting. The material, dimensions, geometry, and mounting points are identical; only the codes differ: CHG901SL for silver and CHG901BK for black.

No. LOBOO states that it mounts to the original mounting points: once the bar is removed, the Norden returns exactly to its original condition. However, the manual does require temporarily removing some bolts and the lower guard, which must be reinstalled using the torque specifications provided by Husqvarna.

The manual describes eight steps: three for removal and five for installation. It is faster than other crash bars in the range, but it is still a job to take your time with and keep a torque wrench close at hand.

LOBOO does not specify preconfigured mounting points for spotlights for this code, and we do not state that it does. In the installation images, the spotlights are mounted elsewhere on the motorcycle and are not part of the kit. In LOBOO images, the bar is shown with a crash bar bag secured to the tube with straps. The bag is not included and must be purchased separately: if you’re interested, write to us and we’ll recommend models suitable for the Ø 25 mm tube.

It reduces damage; it does not eliminate it. It moves the point of contact away from the fairings and engine side, but the outcome depends on speed, angle, and surface. LOBOO does not publish load tests for this code, so we do not state impact-resistance thresholds.

In LOBOO installation images, the bar is mounted on a Norden already equipped with pannier racks, side cases, and a top case, and the manufacturer does not indicate any incompatibility.
