The CHG901 is the LOBOO crash bar for the Husqvarna Norden 901, made of 304 stainless steel with a Ø 25 mm tube and 2 mm wall thickness. It protects the side fairings and the side of the engine while following the motorcycle’s lines, without the cage-like appearance of universal products: LOBOO states that it developed it using the vehicle’s original data.

Before ordering, check the year. LOBOO product images show the wording Compatible with Husqvarna Norden 901 ( -2025) below the code: compatibility extends through model year 2025. The manufacturer’s product page lists 2023 as the starting year, so the stated range is 2023–2025. If you have a 2022 Norden or one from 2026 onward, contact us before ordering: LOBOO does not declare compatibility for those model years.

The kit consists of two bars, right and left, and two connecting brackets. It is available in two finishes that differ only in appearance: satin silver with the stainless steel exposed, achieved through sandblasting and electropolishing, or satin black with electrostatic painting. The material, dimensions, and mounting points are identical.

Installation uses the mounting points already present on the motorcycle, with no drilling or modifications to the original structure: once removed, the Norden returns exactly to its original condition. The bar attaches to the mounting points already present on the motorcycle: once removed, the Norden returns exactly to its original condition. The manual describes eight steps, three for removal and five for installation.

Some screws and the lower guard must be removed, then reinstalled to the torque specifications specified by Husqvarna. Final tightening torque is 12 N·m for the M6 fasteners and 20 N·m for the M8 fasteners.

This bar covers the upper area and the side. The oil pan and sump remain exposed: if you do serious off-roading, the lower section is where the rocks hit.

For that area on the Norden 901, there is the CHG222 kit with a 4 mm aluminum skid plate, which covers a different area and pairs with this bar.

How difficult is the assembly?
