Description Kickstand Plate for BMW S 1000 XR from 2021 | mounts on the original foot

The LOBOO CJC062 side-stand plate enlarges the support surface of the side stand on the BMW S 1000 XR from 2021 onward. The original foot does not need to be removed: the base is positioned underneath, the upper plate on top, and three M5×12 screws close the sandwich through the standard foot.

On a sport tourer, the risk is not off-road terrain but hot summer asphalt: softened bitumen gives way beneath the reduced surface of the original foot, and the motorcycle slowly sinks until it falls. The same applies to gravel in parking areas and stops on grass. The plate distributes the same load over a much larger area, while the grooves machined into the sides and underside resist lateral sliding when the ground is sloped.

  • Compatibility: BMW S 1000 XR from 2021 onward
  • Package contents: base, upper plate, 3 M5×12 screws, 3 mm Allen key, and threadlocker
  • Tightening torque: 5 N·m, a single value for all three screws
  • The manufacturer instructs users not to fully tighten the screws immediately and to check them periodically

  • You travel with side cases and top cases, which increase the load when parked

On a motorcycle with wide fairings, a static fall costs much more than the accessory that prevents it.

LOBOO calls it a lossless installation: the original kickstand foot does not need to be removed. The base goes underneath, the top plate above, and three M5×12 screws clamp the sandwich through the stock foot.

No drilling, no welding, nothing to cut. If you ever want to return to the original, remove three screws.

The grooves are machined into the sides and bottom of the base. They prevent lateral sliding: on a sloped surface, a smooth plate can slip, and widening the support without providing grip would solve only half the problem.

The S 1000 XR doesn’t spend its life off-road, but sun-softened asphalt gives way beneath the reduced surface area of the stock foot. The bike leans slowly, a few degrees at a time, and then goes down.

The same thing happens on gravel in parking lots and on grass at the roadside. On a motorcycle with extensive fairings, a stationary fall costs far more than the accessory that prevents it.

Does it make sense on a road bike like the S 1000 XR?

Yes, and the most common situation isn't off-road terrain but hot summer asphalt, where the kickstand foot can sink into softened bitumen. The same applies to gravel in parking lots, grass, and packed earth.

Does the original kickstand foot need to be removed?

No. The LOBOO manual describes a lossless installation: the stock footpeg remains in place and is enclosed between the base and the top plate, secured with three M5×12 screws. The manufacturer does not specify clearances or interference with fairings and footrests: if you have any doubts about your setup, contact us before ordering.

What tools are needed to assemble it?

The 3 mm Allen key is included in the package, along with threadlocker. To achieve the torque specified in the manual—5 N·m on all three screws—you need a torque wrench: it is a low value, and tightening M5 screws by feel is the quickest way to damage their threads.

Is it suitable for an S 1000 XR from before 2021?

The LOBOO installation manual specifies the BMW S1000XR from 2021 onward, with an open frame. On earlier generations, the side stand foot has a different shape, and the manufacturer does not list them as compatible: we cannot guarantee fitment. Tell us your motorcycle’s year before ordering.

How much does it weigh, and how big is it?

LOBOO does not state either the weight or the dimensions of this code: they do not appear in the assembly manual or on the technical panels. We prefer to write this rather than estimate a value. If you need the exact measurement for a specific reason, ask us and we will measure it on the item in stock.

Is the product covered by a warranty?
