The KLR 650 is the bike with the most complete DENALI electrical system in the entire brand; the Versys 650 and 1000 have handguards, cruise control, protection for the original luggage and films for every generation. For Kawasaki, the generation matters, not just the name

The KLR 650 from 2008-2018 and the one since 2022 have different bodywork and electrical systems, so they require different mounts. The Versys 1000 has different films and instrumentation between 2015-2018 and since 2019, and the SE has its own dashboard. Before ordering, check the year in the registration document.

What fits from one Kawasaki to another

The protection for the original side cases is the most widely compatible code: Kawasaki uses the same cases on the Versys 650, Versys 1000, Z 1000 SX, Ninja 1100SX and H2 SX, and the Eazi-Grip film fits all of them. The Kaoko cruise control also works across models: one code fits the Versys 650, Versys 1000, Ninja 650R and ER-6.

Anything that depends on the bike’s shape - tank stickers, bodywork film and instrument protection - has a code for each model and generation. The same applies to DENALI auxiliary light mounts, which differ on the KLR 650 between 2008-2018 and from 2022 onward.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have crash bars or luggage racks for Kawasaki bikes?

Not currently, for any model. For the KLR 650, there is a DENALI upper engine guard with auxiliary light mounts; for the Versys, the catalog covers hand guards, cruise control and protection for the original side cases.

Does the side-case protection fit my Versys?

Yes, if you have the original Kawasaki side cases: the Eazi-Grip film is listed for the 2015-2024 Versys 650 and 1000, Z 1000 SX, Ninja 1100SX and H2 SX. The version up to 2025 also covers the Versys 1100.

Do accessories for the old KLR 650 fit the new one?

Mostly no: the KLR 650 has had new bodywork and electrical system since 2022, and the mounts for the auxiliary lights, horn and indicators have different codes. Check the year in the title of each code.
