Honda: all models and compatible accessories
Honda accessoriesmodel by model
From the Africa Twin to the CB500X, from the Transalp to the X-ADV: on Honda, the catalog is as broad as the range. The critical point here is not the generation but the variant - the standard Africa Twin and Adventure Sports have different tanks and subframes, and the pannier racks are not interchangeable.
This is the distinction that matters most on Honda. The Adventure Sports has a larger tank, its own subframe and windscreen: panniers, racks, and protection differ, while handguards, mirrors, and handlebar accessories are shared. Before buying, check which of the two you have.

What changes from one Honda to another
With Honda, the trap is not the generation but the variant. Standard Africa Twin and Adventure Sports, CB500X and CB400X, NC 750 X and X-ADV share the engine but not the mounting points: the tank, rear subframe, and lateral dimensions change, and so do the pannier racks, engine guards, and auxiliary light brackets.
Handguards, mirrors, tank bags with a mounting ring, and electrical accessories, on the other hand, are almost always compatible, because they depend on the handlebar or battery, not the mounting points.
For the same reason, we keep the two Africa Twin generations separate, the 1000 from 2016 and the 1100 from 2020: the frame is different, and much of the luggage cannot be transferred from one to the other.
Frequently asked questions
Do standard Africa Twin accessories fit the Adventure Sports?
Partly. Handguards, mirrors, and handlebar accessories do; pannier racks, tank protection, and engine guards do not, because the Adventure Sports has a larger tank and its own subframe.
Do the CRF1000L and CRF1100L share accessories?
Very few. Between 2019 and 2020, Honda changed the frame and bodywork: the luggage and protection accessories for the 1000 mostly do not fit the 1100.
Do CB500X accessories fit the CB400X?
Many of them are, because the two bikes share their chassis and bodywork. However, the code must always be checked, especially for engine guards and pannier racks.
Which Honda is easiest to equip?
The CB500X, without a doubt: 50 accessories in the catalog, more than any other Honda, and affordable prices because the market has been mature for years.
