Description BMW R 1200 - 1250 GS top case plate

The LOBOO top case mounting plate for BMW R 1200 GS and R 1250 GS (code JP071W) is the steel base that allows you to mount a LOBOO top case on the rear subframe. Plug-and-play installation on the original mounting points, with no drilling or adapter brackets.

It is compatible with three different top cases, so you can change the top case to suit the journey without replacing the base:

  • PIKE TRACKER P45T — 45 litres (P45T-BK black, P45T-SL silver)
  • PIKE TRACKER P36T — 36 litres (P36T-BK, P36T-SL)
  • TIBET T36T — 36 litres (T36T-BK, T36T-SL)

The top case is not included: this page is for the mounting plate only.

For GS Adventure versions, the JP072W plate is required and is available on a separate page: the rear subframe is different and the holes do not align.

You need this plate if you have a standard R 1200 GS or R 1250 GS and want to mount a LOBOO top case.

Pay attention to the version: For GS Adventure models, plate JP072W is required, available on a separate page. The rear frame is different, and the holes do not align.

It's also the right choice if you haven't yet decided which top case to get: the plate accepts all three.

  • Fixing on the OEM points of the rear frame, without drilling or permanent modifications.
  • Respect the maximum load on the rear frame indicated by BMW in the motorcycle's manual: the limit includes the plate and loaded top case.

The JP071W accepts the 45-liter PIKE TRACKER P45T, the 36-liter P36T, and the TIBET T36T: you can change the top case according to your trip without replacing the base. Each model is available in a black or silver finish.

The plate is compatible with the P45T, P36T, T36T, and C40T mounts, giving you access to the range’s top cases in black or silver.

The P45T fits a full-face helmet inside the top case, while the P36T and T36T keep the rear more compact.

The JP071W is designed for the standard versions of the R 1200 GS from 2013 onward and the R 1250 GS from 2019 onward. The Adventure models have a different rear subframe and require the JP072W.

This is the check to perform before ordering: the two codes are not interchangeable.

It is the highest and rearmost point of the load: exceeding it affects stability more than the same weight in the side cases.

Which LOBOO top cases are compatible with this mounting plate?

Three models: PIKE TRACKER P45T (codes P45T-BK and P45T-SL), PIKE TRACKER P36T (P36T-BK and P36T-SL), and TIBET T36T (T36T-BK and T36T-SL). The top case is not included and must be purchased separately.

Can I use it on the R 1200 or R 1250 GS Adventure?

No. The Adventure versions have a different rear subframe and require the JP072W plate, available on a separate page. This JP071W is intended for standard R 1200 GS and R 1250 GS models.

Is the product covered by a warranty?

Yes: all LOBOO products sold on Endurrad are covered by the 24-month statutory consumer warranty. In the event of a lack of conformity, we will handle the claim with the manufacturer.

Can I return the product if it isn’t suitable?

Yes, you are entitled to return the item within 14 days of delivery under online purchase regulations. The product must be intact and in its original packaging: contact us and we’ll guide you through the process.

Premium upgrade on my BMW GS

I installed the JADO S6 on my BMW GS (non-"dedicated" version), and although I don't use the BMW base, the display and features are still top notch.
