Description Top Case Plate for BMW R 1200 GS from 2013 and R 1250 GS from 2019
It is the base that allows a top case to be mounted on the rear subframe of the R 1200 GS and R 1250 GS. It attaches to the original mounting points: no drilling, no adapter bracket, and no motorcycle parts need to be removed.
Check the year before ordering
The manual specifies BMW R 1200 GS from 2013 and BMW R 1250 GS from 2019. On R 1200 GS models before 2013, the rear subframe has different geometry, and the manufacturer does not state compatibility.
For GS Adventure versions, the JP072W plate is required; it has its own page because the holes do not line up.
How to install it
The package contains four 15 mm spacers, four M6×40 screws, four washers, and the installation wrench. The spacers rest on the original mounting points, with the plate fitted on top.
The manufacturer instructs you to not fully tighten the screws during assembly: first complete all adjustments, then apply the torque in sequence, 12 N·m on the four screws. The manual is available in eight languages, including Italian.
Which top cases can you mount
The manual lists the PIKE TRACKER, TIBET and CONQUEROR series for this plate. In practice, this means you can change the top case depending on the trip without replacing the base. The top case is not included: this page concerns the plate only, and LOBOO aluminum top cases can be mounted only on LOBOO plates and luggage racks.
The rear load has a limit
LOBOO does not specify a maximum load for the plate itself: the limit stated by BMW in the owner's manual for the rear subframe applies, and includes the plate, top case, and contents. Recheck the fasteners after the first 100–200 km and make sure the top case does not cover the license plate or rear lights.
The plate material is not specified by any LOBOO source, including the manual.

Premium upgrade on my BMW GS
I installed the JADO S6 on my BMW GS (non-"dedicated" version), and although I don't use the BMW base, the display and features are still top notch.
