Description Top Case Plate for BMW F 850 GS Adventure from 2019 and F 900 GS Adventure from 2025
This is the base that allows you to mount a top box on the rear luggage rack of the F GS Adventure models, which have different geometry from the standard GS models and require a dedicated part number.
Check the version and year
The manual lists the BMW F 850 GS Adventure from 2019 and the BMW F 900 GS Adventure from 2025. For the standard versions, F 750 GS and F 850 GS, you need the JP031W plate, which has its own page: the two are not interchangeable.
How it is secured
The system differs from that of the standard sibling: here, the plate rests on two clamps that tighten around the 18 mm tubes of the original luggage rack, plus two dedicated side brackets, one right and one left. The plate is secured on top with two M6×16 screws and four M6×40 screws.
The manufacturer specifies not to fully tighten the screws during assembly: first complete all adjustments, then apply the torque in sequence, 12 N·m to all M6 screws. The assembly wrench is included, and the manual is available in eight languages, including Italian.
The manual calls for a removal step in the original luggage-rack area before installation, but does not identify the parts involved: if you want to know exactly what needs to be removed from your motorcycle, write to us and we will send you the illustrated procedure.
Which top boxes can you mount
The manual assigns the plate to the PIKE TRACKER, TIBET and CONQUEROR series. The top box is not included: this page concerns the plate only. LOBOO aluminum top boxes can only be mounted on LOBOO plates and luggage racks, not on mounts from other brands.
The rear load has a limit
LOBOO does not specify its own maximum load for the plate: the limit indicated by BMW in the owner's manual for the rear subframe applies, and includes the plate, top box and contents. Recheck the fasteners after the first 100–200 km and make sure the top box does not cover the license plate or rear lights.
The plate material is not specified by any LOBOO source, including the manual.
