  • You have a C 400 X: this plate is not compatible, you need JPT091W2.

Compatibile con sei codici bauletto tra PIKE TRACKER e TIBET, in finitura nera o argento.

Sulla C 400 esistono due piastre LOBOO diverse, e la scelta dipende da cosa hai già sulla moto.

Questa è la versione JPTC092W, che si aggancia al supporto Floating originale BMW: se ce l'hai già montato, non devi smontare niente dalla coda. Vale solo per la C 400 GT.

Se il Floating non c'è, o se hai una C 400 X, ti serve la JPT091W2 a montaggio diretto sul telaietto. È in pagina separata.

La piastra è l'interfaccia tra la moto e il bauletto: da sola non serve a nulla, ma senza di lei nessun top case LOBOO si aggancia. Su questa piastra si monta il PIKE TRACKER P45T da 45 litri, in nero opaco o argento lucido.

Il bauletto resta un acquisto separato, e questo ti lascia libero di scegliere dopo: monti la piastra oggi e decidi il volume quando sai davvero quanto bagaglio porti.

Il peso sopra la coda è quello che si sente di più

Un bauletto carico lavora molto più in alto e più indietro delle valigie laterali. Ogni chilo là sopra alleggerisce l'avantreno e amplifica i movimenti del posteriore: è il motivo per cui una moto ben carica ai lati resta neutra, mentre con dieci chili nel bauletto diventa nervosa in autostrada.

Non è un argomento contro il bauletto, ma per caricarlo bene: dentro vanno le cose leggere e voluminose, casco di scorta, antipioggia, ricambi. Gli attrezzi e il peso vero restano in basso, nelle laterali.

Rispetta sempre il carico massimo che BMW indica sul telaietto posteriore: comprende piastra, bauletto e contenuto.

Che cos'è il supporto Floating originale BMW e perché serve?

È il supporto per top case montato di serie o disponibile come accessorio originale BMW sulla C 400 GT. La piastra JPTC092W si aggancia esclusivamente a quel supporto: se sulla tua moto non è presente, questa piastra non è utilizzabile e serve la versione JPT091W2, che si monta direttamente sui punti del telaietto.

Come faccio a sapere quale delle due piastre C 400 mi serve?

Guarda la coda della moto. Se hai già il supporto Floating originale BMW installato, ti serve questa piastra JPTC092W. Se la coda è nuda, o se hai una C 400 X, ti serve la JPT091W2. In caso di dubbio mandaci una foto della zona posteriore e ti confermiamo il codice corretto.

Premium upgrade on my BMW GS

I installed the JADO S6 on my BMW GS (non-"dedicated" version), and although I don't use the BMW base, the display and features are still top notch. The night visibility is impressive, and the "X-Ray" mode, as they call it, makes evening riding much safer.
