Description BMW C 400 GT top case plate - for the original BMW Floating mount

The LOBOO JPTC092W top case plate for BMW C 400 GT allows you to mount LOBOO top cases using the original BMW Floating mount already installed on the motorcycle: it attaches directly to it, without removing it, without adapter brackets, and without drilling.

Mandatory requirement: the original BMW Floating mount must already be installed. If your motorcycle has a bare rear end, or if you have a C 400 X, you need the JPT091W2 plate, which mounts directly to the subframe mounting points and is available on a separate page.

If your C 400 GT is already fitted with the original BMW Floating mount, there’s no need to remove anything: this plate attaches directly to it, giving you access to the LOBOO top case range without adapter brackets or drilling.

Compatible with six top case codes from PIKE TRACKER to TIBET, in black or silver finish.

For the C 400, there are two different LOBOO plates, and the choice depends on what you already have on the motorcycle.

This is the JPTC092W version, which attaches to the original BMW Floating mount : if you already have it installed, you don't need to remove anything from the tail.It is only compatible with the C 400 GT.

If the Floating mount is not present, or if you have a C 400 X, you need the JPT091W2, which mounts directly to the subframe. It has its own separate page.

The plate is the interface between the motorcycle and the top case: on its own, it is of no use, but without it, no LOBOO top case can be attached. The 45-liter PIKE TRACKER P45T fits onto this plate, available in matte black or glossy silver.

The top case is purchased separately, leaving you free to choose later: install the plate today and decide on the capacity once you know how much luggage you really carry.

A loaded top case sits much higher and farther back than the side cases. Every kilogram up there lightens the front end and amplifies the rear’s movements: that’s why a motorcycle loaded evenly on the sides remains neutral, while ten kilograms in the top case makes it nervous on the highway.

This isn’t an argument against using a top case, but for loading it properly: put lightweight, bulky items inside, such as a spare helmet, rain gear, and spare parts. Keep the tools and the real weight low down in the side cases.

Always respect the maximum load BMW specifies for the rear subframe: this includes the mounting plate, top case, and contents.

What is the original BMW Floating mount, and what is it for?

Is the top case mount factory-installed or available as an original BMW accessory on the C 400 GT? The JPTC092W plate attaches exclusively to that mount: if your motorcycle does not have it, this plate cannot be used, and you need the JPT091W2 version, which mounts directly to the subframe mounting points.

How do I know which of the two C 400 plates I need?

Keep the motorcycle tail section. If you already have the original BMW Floating support installed, you need this JPTC092W plate. If the tail section is bare, or if you have a C 400 X, you need the JPT091W2. If in doubt, send us a photo of the rear area and we’ll confirm the correct part number.

Is the product covered by a warranty?

Yes: all LOBOO products sold on Endurrad are covered by the 24-month statutory consumer warranty. In the event of a lack of conformity, we will handle the claim with the manufacturer.

Can I return the product if it isn’t suitable?

Premium upgrade on my BMW GS

I installed the JADO S6 on my BMW GS (non-"dedicated" version), and although I don't use the BMW base, the display and features are still top notch.
