Description Top Case Plate for BMW C 400 GT from 2024
This is the plate that allows you to mount a top case on the rear of the C 400 GT from 2024 onward. The manual assigns the code to that model year only: the code is different for earlier C 400 GT models and for the C 400 X.
How to install it
Installation takes four steps. Remove six original bolts from the tail section, position the four spacers, install the intermediate bracket with the M6×25 bolts, and finally install the plate with the M6×16 bolts. Fully reversible, with no drilling required.
One detail the manual highlights with a dedicated illustration: the spacers are not symmetrical and must be oriented correctly. It is the kind of mistake you only notice when the plate does not sit properly.
The torque is 12 N·m for all M6 bolts, applied in sequence and only after completing the adjustments. The wrench is included, and the manual is available in eight languages, including Italian.
Which top cases fit
The manual lists the PIKE TRACKER, TIBET and CONQUEROR series for this plate. The top case is not included: this page covers the plate only, and LOBOO aluminum top cases fit only LOBOO plates and luggage racks.
If this is not the right one
For the C 400 X and for C 400 GT models from 2018 onward, you need the JPT091W2 plate, which has its own page. If you are unsure which one you need, send us a photo of the motorcycle’s rear area and we will confirm the code before purchase.
The rear load has a limit
LOBOO does not specify a maximum load for the plate itself: the limit stated by BMW in the owner’s manual applies, and includes the plate, top case and contents. Recheck the fasteners after the first 100–200 km and make sure the top case does not obscure the license plate or rear lights.
The plate material is not specified by any LOBOO source, including the manual.
