Leggi la descrizione completa

The LOBOO PH06 is the premium smartphone mount in the range: machined aluminum alloy body, anti-vibration magnetic base, 15 W wireless charging, and a Type-C port with fast charging up to 36 W. It is available with four mounting types, all with the charging module integrated.

Magnetic damping is the reason this model exists

High-frequency handlebar vibrations can permanently damage a smartphone’s optical stabilizer. This is a known failure and is not covered by warranty, and rigid mounts encourage it because they transfer everything that passes through the handlebar to the phone.

The PH06 features an anti-vibration magnetic base that lets the phone-holder module “float”: greater oscillation amplitude, lower transmitted intensity. This is the key difference compared with the PH02S, which uses silicone dampers. No mount eliminates vibrations entirely, but the difference is noticeable on rough surfaces.

Four non-interchangeable mounting options

This is the only choice to make when ordering, and it must be made by measuring the exact point where you want to mount the holder: the base cannot be replaced after purchase.

  • Standard model — clamp for Ø 22, 25.4 (1"), 28, and 32 mm tubes, with all four bushings already included in the package. This is the version for most large adventure bikes and naked bikes.
  • 13 mm model — for Ø 12–13 mm crossbars and accessory bars, such as those already found above the instrument panel on many adventure bikes.
  • Mirror model — for stems up to 10.2 mm in diameter, typical of scooters and small-displacement motorcycles.
  • Sportbike model — attaches to the steering-plate hole with two expansion bushings, for diameters from 12 to 25.4 mm. It is the solution for supersport bikes, where there is no room on the clip-on handlebar.

All four versions in the catalog have the charging module integrated: only the mounting base changes.

Snap locking, one-finger release

The phone charges from the top and locks into place without tools. To remove it, simply press the release button beneath the body: it can be done with one hand and while wearing gloves, even winter gloves. The upper claw is extendable and the two side claws are adjustable, all with silicone pads.

Rotation is handled by a mechanical gear structure: it maintains its position without drifting under vibration and lets you switch from portrait to landscape in one second.

15 W wireless charging and 36 W cable charging

The induction pad delivers up to 15 W and activates when you place the phone on it. When more power is needed, the Type-C port reaches 36 W with fast charging: this is enough to restore charge even with the navigator active and the screen at maximum brightness under the sun.

Actual power depends on the protocol supported by the phone and the ambient temperature. The LOBOO angled cable is an optional accessory and is not included: the Type-C to Type-C version supports 60 W, while the Type-C to Lightning version supports 27 W; both are 230 mm long.

The mount has no internal battery and must be powered by the motorcycle’s 12–16 V DC electrical system, preferably from a switched positive connection. The electronics include eight protections: reverse polarity, short circuit, overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, overload, overheating, and foreign-object detection.

Phone compatibility

Measurements must be checked with the case already installed: width from 65 to 92 mm, length from 125 to 169 mm, and thickness up to 12.5 mm. These limits are narrower than those of the PH02S, so with large phones it is worth measuring carefully before ordering.

Wireless charging works through thin cases made of plastic, rubber, or lightweight leather. Magnetic rings, metal plates for magnetic mounts, and Popsockets can shield the field or trigger foreign-object protection.

Dimensions, power ratings, hardware, and tightening torques for the four configurations are listed in the “Technical specifications” tab below.

  • 🏍️ Choose the mount before ordering: it is not interchangeable.Standard Ø 22/25.4/28/32 mm, bar 12–13 mm, mirror ≤ 10.2 mm, or steering stem 12–25.4 mm for sportbikes. Measure the exact mounting point with a caliper.
  • 🔌 Requires connection to the electrical system. The PH06 has no internal battery: it is powered by 12–16 V, typically from a switched positive. If you don't already have an available socket, factor this in.
  • 📱 The dimensions are narrower than those of the PH02S.Width 65–92 mm, length 125–169 mm, thickness up to 12.5 mm with the case mounted. For large phones, it's advisable to measure carefully.
  • 🧲 Reduces vibrations, does not eliminate them.Magnetic damping reduces high frequencies better than rubber pads, but a residual amount still reaches the device. No mount on the market guarantees complete elimination.
  • 🔌 Type-C cable not included. The socket is present, but the LOBOO 230 mm angled cable is a separate accessory. It is not needed for wireless charging only.
  • 💧 No IP rating declared by the manufacturer. It is designed to be exposed while riding, but does not allow for immersion or washing with a pressure washer.
  • 🚚 Tracked shipping and 24-month legal conformity warranty, with handling of claims with the manufacturer directly managed by us.

How does it work, in detail?

Magnetic damping, snap-lock mechanism, dual charging, and the four available attachments: every aspect explained one by one.

A mount designed to stay steady on roads that aren’t.
01

A mount designed to stay steady on roads that aren’t.

The PH06 is the flagship model in the LOBOO range: a machined aluminum-alloy body, an anti-vibration magnetic base, and a snap-lock mechanism that opens and closes with one hand. It is designed for riders who spend hours in the saddle with navigation on and refuse to compromise on either grip or phone protection.

In the sections below, you’ll find the manufacturer’s technical panels one by one: how the damping works, how to adjust it, how it is powered, which mount your motorcycle needs, and what the stated limitations are. This is the same information you would use to make a decision in a store, with the product in hand.

Magnetic damping protects the camera.
02

Magnetic damping protects the camera.

High-frequency handlebar vibrations can permanently damage smartphones’ optical image stabilization: this is a known issue and is not covered by the warranty.

The PH06 features an anti-vibration magnetic mount that decouples the phone holder module from the base and filters out precisely those frequencies. This is the main difference from the PH02S, which uses silicone pads: it attenuates vibrations more, but even it does not eliminate them entirely.

Aluminum alloy body, not plastic
03

Aluminum alloy body, not plastic

The PH06’s load-bearing structure is made from high-precision machined aluminum alloy. It’s the difference you can feel in your hand compared with engineering-polymer mounts, and the difference that matters over time: plastic parts exposed to sunlight, temperature swings, and continuous vibration become brittle and crack right around the screws.

Aluminum costs more and weighs a little more. In return, the mount stays rigid where it needs to, while vibration isolation is handled by magnetic damping rather than by the flexibility of the material.

It locks with a click and releases with one finger
04

It locks with a click and releases with one finger

The phone is loaded from above and locks securely into place, with no tools or knobs to unscrew. To retrieve it, simply press the release button beneath the body: a one-handed operation you can perform while wearing gloves and without getting off the motorcycle.

The clamping range of the side grips is also adjusted with a single button, so the mount adapts to a different phone in just a few seconds. Rotation is handled by a mechanical gear that keeps its position without drifting due to vibrations.

The phone can be picked up and put back without getting off the motorcycle
05

The phone can be picked up and put back without getting off the motorcycle

The release is a single button beneath the mount body: press it, the clamps open, and the phone comes free. There is no knob to unscrew and no screw to readjust every time, so it can be operated with one hand, even while wearing gloves, including winter gloves.

In practice, it is the difference between grabbing your phone at the dispenser while staying on your bike and having to remove your gloves every time. The button is positioned so it cannot be reached accidentally by contact: the release occurs only when you press it.

From vertical to horizontal, and the angle stays wherever you place it
06

From vertical to horizontal, and the angle stays wherever you place it

The rotation isn’t held in place by the friction of a tightened screw, but by a mechanical gear mechanism. The difference becomes apparent after a hundred kilometers on rough roads: the angle you chose is still the same, instead of having slipped downward with every pothole.

Vertical to follow a route step by step, horizontal to get more context on the map, with the option to adjust the mount’s angle as well, bringing the screen into your line of sight. Changing it takes a second, but the usual rule still applies: do it while stationary, not while moving.

Wireless 15 W, or 36 W from the Type-C port
07

Wireless 15 W, or 36 W from the Type-C port

The 15 W wireless charging activates simply by placing the phone on it and is enough to maintain the charge with navigation active. When you really need to regain charge—screen at maximum brightness in the sun, long routes, phone already below twenty percent—the Type-C port delivers up to 36 W with fast charging.

12–16 V power from the motorcycle's electrical system, with eight integrated protections: reverse polarity, short circuit, overvoltage and undervoltage, overcurrent, overload, overtemperature, and foreign object detection. The right-angle cable for the Type-C port is an optional accessory and is not included in the package.

The angled Type-C cable, if you choose wired charging
08

The angled Type-C cable, if you choose wired charging

The Type-C port is present on all four versions, but the cable is not included: LOBOO sells it separately, and it is designed to be mounted on the handlebar, not used on a desk. It has an angled connector, so it does not protrude or create leverage when the mount rotates, along with a pure-copper core and a jacket designed to resist pulling and aging.

It is 230 mm long and rated for up to 60 W in the Type-C-to-Type-C version—more than the PH06 can deliver, so the cable is not the bottleneck. The actual power you see depends on the phone and the protocol it supports. This cable is not needed for wireless charging alone.

Eight protections between the motorcycle's electrical system and the phone
09

Eight protections between the motorcycle's electrical system and the phone

The charging module’s electronics do more than deliver power: they monitor eight conditions and cut off the power supply when any of them falls outside the limits. Reverse polarity, short circuit, overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, overload, overtemperature, and foreign-object detection.

The first two matter during installation, when a reversed wire is the most common mistake. The others matter while riding: a motorcycle’s electrical system is not as stable as a household outlet, and foreign-object detection is what prevents the induction pad from heating a coin or key that has ended up between the phone and the pad.

How is it connected, and to what torque specifications is it tightened?
10

How is it connected, and to what torque specifications is it tightened?

The wiring has three wires and a specified layout: red to positive, black to negative, and yellow to ACC—the line that becomes live when you turn the key and switches off when you remove it—with a 10 A fuse on the positive wire. The manual also asks you to secure the cable in the holder’s cable clamp, leaving 9–11 cm between the outlet and the cable clamp: this is the slack needed for rotation.

Torque values vary by mount: 12 N·m on the M6 nut of the standard clamp, 3 N·m on the four M4×8 screws of the 13 mm bracket, and 10 N·m on the M6×16 and M6×22 screws of the mirror joint. The required Allen keys are included. On the sport motorcycle version, insert the expansion bushing into the hole while it is still loose, then expand it while tightening; LOBOO does not specify a torque for that screw.

Four mounts: the right code for your motorcycle
11

Four mounts: the right code for your motorcycle

Below you’ll find the name LOBOO uses for each mount, the diameter it fits, and the variant code to select, so you can order the right one without guesswork.

  • Standard clamp model — Ø 22, 25.4 (1 inch), 28, and 32 mm tubes. The four bushings are included. Code PH06-WXBZ.
  • 13 mm model — Ø 12–13 mm crossbars. It mounts above the instrument cluster: the best choice when there isn’t enough space in front of the dashboard. Code PH06-HC13MM.
  • Mirror model — stem Ø up to 10.2 mm. It attaches to the mirror bracket, typical of scooters and small-displacement motorcycles. Code PH06-WXMR.
  • Sportbike model — steering stem hole Ø 12–25.4 mm. Two expansion bushings cover the entire range. Code PH06-WXBZS.

The base cannot be replaced after purchase: use a caliper to measure the exact point where the mount will rest, because on many handlebars the diameter changes between the center and the ends. If you’re unsure, contact us with the model and year before ordering.

Measure your phone before ordering
12

Measure your phone before ordering

The mount accommodates smartphones from 65 to 92 mm wide and from 125 to 169 mm long, with a maximum thickness of 12.5 mm.

Thickness is the detail that’s often overlooked: measure it with the case fitted, because that’s how you’ll use the phone on the motorcycle.

Is the phone too large? There’s an expansion kit.
13

Is the phone too large? There’s an expansion kit.

LOBOO's stated criterion is precise and worth measuring before ordering: if the distance from the camera module to the phone's top edge, including the case, is more than 55 mm, the standard mount is not sufficient and the expansion kit is required.

The kit extends the length adjustment range by 22 mm and the thickness adjustment range by 6 mm, making it the solution for foldable phones and those with a protruding camera bump and a rugged case. It is sold separately and does not include the mount: if you think you need it, send us the phone's brand and model before ordering, and we will check together.

All dimensions, to see whether it will fit where you want to install it
14

All dimensions, to see whether it will fit where you want to install it

The body measures 184.7 × 96.6 mm with a depth of 93.7 mm, and the projection from the mounting point varies by attachment: approximately 56 mm for the standard clamp version, 30 mm for the mirror-joint version, and 48 mm for the sport motorcycle version. These are the figures that determine whether the mount fits between the windscreen and the instrument panel.

The manufacturer's dimensioned drawing lists each configuration separately, along with a table showing the 12–16 V input voltage, charging capacities, and material. LOBOO warns that the dimensions were measured manually and may differ slightly from the actual product: if you are working to the millimeter, measure the available space on the motorcycle before ordering.

Where is it mounted in the manufacturer's photos?
15

Where is it mounted in the manufacturer's photos?

The installation shots show the four typical positions: on the handlebar with the standard clamp, on the accessory crossbar above the instrument panel with the 13 mm version, on the mirror stem, and in the steering plate hole of a sportbike. They help you understand where the phone actually ends up relative to your line of sight.

On large adventure bikes with a tall windscreen, the crossbar is almost always the best position because it sits above the dashboard rather than in front of it. On bikes without a crossbar, the handlebar clamp remains the simplest choice. If you’re not sure which position will work on yours, send us a photo of the handlebar.

Installation and Use

  • 12-16 V DC power supply, preferably from a switched live. Route the cable away from hot or moving parts.
  • Integrated protections: reverse polarity, short circuit, overvoltage and undervoltage, overcurrent, overload, overtemperature, and foreign object detection.
  • LOBOO does not declare a certified IP rating for the PH06. The product is designed for exposure while riding, but it is not intended for use submerged or for washing with a pressure washer. Dry the connectors after heavy rain.
  • The mount is not an approved safety device. Smartphone use while driving is regulated by Article 173 of the Highway Code: consulting a navigator is permitted, but manipulating the phone is not.
  • Check the tightness after the first few kilometers and ensure that the device does not obstruct your vision or the steering at full lock.

The PH06 is the right choice if you identify with any of these profiles:

  • Rough and dirt roads: This is where magnetic damping justifies the price difference compared to mounts with rubber pads.
  • High-end smartphones: If the phone you're mounting costs as much as half an exhaust system, protecting its optics makes economic and practical sense.
  • Sport bikes: It's the only one in the range with a stem mount, for when there's no space on the clip-ons.
  • Intensive year-round use: Aluminum withstands sun, cold, and vibration without weakening.

Two checks before ordering

  • Phone dimensions: 65–92 mm wide, 125–169 mm long, maximum thickness 12.5 mm with the case installed.
  • Mounting point: Measure the diameter where you will actually mount the holder, as on many handlebars the section changes between the center and the ends.

However, if you're looking for the same functionality at half the price and don't need aluminum, the PH02S with silicone pads covers road use well.

Domande frequenti

Le domande che ci fate più spesso

Which of the four attacks should I choose?

It depends on where you want to mount it, and this must be decided before ordering because the base cannot be replaced. Standard model for Ø 22, 25.4, 28, or 32 mm tubes: this is the one for most adventure and naked motorcycles. 13 mm model for Ø 12–13 mm accessory crossbars above the instrument panel. Mirror model for stems up to 10.2 mm. Model for sport bikes, which attaches to the steering plate hole with a diameter of 12 to 25.4 mm.

Measure the exact point with a caliper: on many handlebars, the cross-section changes between the center and the ends.

Can I switch from portrait to landscape with the phone mounted?

Yes. Rotation is handled by a geared mechanical mechanism that clicks into place and holds its position: it isn’t a friction-tightened screw, so the angle won’t gradually droop downward after a few dozen kilometers on bumpy roads.

You can also adjust the bracket angle to position the screen in your line of sight instead of leaving it perpendicular to the handlebars. The adjustment takes a second, but make both adjustments while stationary.

Is my smartphone compatible?

The holder accommodates devices from 65 to 92 mm in width, from 125 to 169 mm in length, and up to 12.5 mm thick. Measure the thickness with the case on: this is the measurement most likely to lead to a purchasing mistake.

I have a large smartphone: will it fit, or do I need the expansion kit?

The mount accepts phones from 65 to 92 mm wide and from 125 to 169 mm long, with a thickness of up to 12.5 mm with the case fitted. These limits are narrower than those of the PH02S, which accommodates phones up to 98 mm wide and 170 mm long.

There is, however, a second criterion that really determines compatibility with recent phones: measure the distance between the camera module and the phone’s top edge, including the case. If it exceeds 55 mm, LOBOO requires the expansion kit, which adds 22 mm to the length range and 6 mm to the thickness range. It is sold separately, is also intended for foldable phones, and does not include the mount.

If your phone is close to the limit, send us the make and model before ordering: we’ll check together whether you need the kit or whether the PH02S, which is more accommodating in terms of dimensions, would be the better choice.

How is it powered? Is the cable included?

The PH06 does not have an internal battery: it must be powered by 12–16 V DC, ideally from a switched positive so it turns off with the motorcycle. Route the cable away from hot or moving parts.

Wireless charging does not require any cable connected to the phone. If you want to use the Type-C port and its 36 W output, the LOBOO angled cable is an optional accessory: 230 mm long, 60 W in the Type-C-to-Type-C version and 27 W in the Type-C-to-Lightning version.

Can it be used in the rain?

It is an accessory designed to be mounted on the handlebar, with an aluminum-alloy body and electronic protection against overheating and foreign objects. However, LOBOO does not declare a certified IP rating for the PH06, so we do not assign one to it for the sake of accuracy.

Normal rain while riding is not a problem, but immersion and pressure-washer cleaning are. When washing the motorcycle, it is best to cover the mount or remove the phone and avoid directing the spray at the Type-C port.
