What torque should the screws be tightened to?

The LOBOO manual does not specify torque values for this part number and refers to the motorcycle manufacturer's specifications because the bolts are the original ones. Use the values in the KTM or Husqvarna service manual.

Is the 12 or 22 mm rod better?

It depends on the mount you will use: the rod must have the diameter specified for its clamp. Check the specifications of your navigator or smartphone mount before choosing the version. LOBOO also produces a 16 mm rod, which is not listed as a variant on Endurrad.

What material is it made of?

Made of aluminum alloy, silver-colored. The rod has a sandblasted finish so that the support clamp can grip it; the base is brushed.

Is the mount for the navigation system included?

No. The CDZ221 is the crossbar on which to mount it: the holder for a navigator, smartphone, or video camera is purchased separately, with a clamp suitable for the 12 or 22 mm rod you chose.

Is the product covered by a warranty?

The LOBOO CDZ221 navigation mount adds an aluminum crossbar in front of the dashboard of the KTM 390 Adventure from 2021 onward, the KTM 790 Adventure and 790 Adventure R from 2019 to 2023, and the Husqvarna Norden 901 from 2023 onward. A navigation device, smartphone, or camera mount can be fitted to the bar in a central, easy-to-see position.

Choose the version according to the clamp on the mount you will use: the bar must have the required diameter. It is sandblasted so the clamp grips securely and does not rotate; the base is brushed. Aluminum alloy body, silver color.

Installs without drilling

The manual specifies three steps: remove the windshield, position the mount on the original mounting points, and reassemble everything using the motorcycle's screws. The package includes the mount already assembled with the bar and threadlocker; for tightening torques, LOBOO refers to the values specified by the motorcycle manufacturer.

How does it work, in detail?

Where it is mounted, which diameter to choose, and what is needed to install it.

More space on the dashboard, no holes

The CDZ221 adds a crossbar in front of the dashboard, at windshield height, for mounting a navigator, smartphone, or camera. It attaches to the motorcycle's existing mounting points and reuses the original hardware: no drilling, and it can be removed without leaving any changes to the motorcycle.

One bar for each attachment

LOBOO produces the bar in three diameters, 12, 16, and 22 mm, because mounts for navigation devices and smartphones do not have a universal attachment. On Endurrad, choose the 12 or 22 mm version based on the clamp of the mount you will use.

Sandblasted steel, brushed base

The two surfaces have different finishes for two different reasons. The rod is sandblasted so the support clamp grips it and does not rotate; the base is brushed for a surface that feels smooth to the touch.

The motorcycles declared by LOBOO

The manufacturer's parameter panel lists the KTM 390 Adventure from 2021, the KTM 790 Adventure and 790 Adventure R from 2019 to 2023, and the Husqvarna Norden 901 from 2023. Aluminum alloy body, silver color. The KTM 790 Adventure models from 2024 onward and the 890 Adventure are not listed.

What does it look like assembled?

On the KTM, the crossbar is above the dashboard, in the center of the windshield, leaving the instruments unobstructed. The mount for the GPS navigator or smartphone attaches to the bar and can be angled toward the rider.

The LOBOO manual and parameter panel state compatibility with the KTM 390 Adventure from 2021, the KTM 790 Adventure and 790 Adventure R from 2019 to 2023, and the Husqvarna Norden 901 from 2023.

An older commercial panel indicated the 790 Adventure up to 2022: we published the 2023 version of the manual, which is the higher-ranking source. If you have a 2023 790, write to us and we will confirm before shipping.

Is it suitable for the KTM 790 Adventure from 2024 onward or for the 890 Adventure?

No. The CDZ221 is specified for the 790 Adventure and 790 Adventure R through 2023. For the 790 Adventure from 2024 onward and the 890 Adventure, LOBOO has a different support in titanium gray and black, which is not currently listed in Endurrad's catalog: write to us if you're interested.
