Finding a solid place to mount auxiliary lights on the KTM 790 Adventure isn’t straightforward: the front frame offers no convenient mounting points, and most solutions end up relying on zip ties and improvised adaptations. The LOBOO CWJ221 mount solves the problem by providing a Ø 22 mm bar just below the headlight—the standard size used by almost all auxiliary-light manufacturers.

The part is made of 304 stainless steel, with a black electrostatic, sandblasted-effect finish that the manufacturer claims is rust-resistant. It attaches to the motorcycle’s existing mounting points, with no drilling required: LOBOO says it was developed using the vehicle’s original data and provides vibration-free installation.

The package also includes an adapter bracket, which expands compatibility: you can mount both lights with a clamp for 22 mm tubes and lights that attach with screws. No extra accessories need to be purchased separately.

Installation is adjustable: the axis allows you to tilt the mount upward or downward, so you can adjust the illuminated area according to your riding position and the terrain. It’s an adjustment best made in the dark, not in the garage.

Which motorcycles is the CWJ221 compatible with?

LOBOO declares compatibility with the KTM 790 Adventure and 790 Adventure R from 2019 to 2022. Later years are not specified by the manufacturer, so we do not publish them as compatible.

Is it compatible with a 2023 790 or the 890 Adventure?

The manufacturer’s information stops at 2022 and does not mention the 890. Later generations do not share all the front mounting points, so we prefer not to claim compatibility that LOBOO has not confirmed: write to us with the year and trim level before ordering.

Is it also compatible with the KTM 390 Adventure?

LOBOO's documentation is ambiguous: the confirmed compatibility list includes only the 790 Adventure and 790 Adventure R 2019–2022, but an image and a manufacturer subtitle also mention the 390 Adventure. Until this is clarified, we do not claim it is compatible: if you have a 390 Adventure, contact us before ordering.

What kind of spotlights can I install on it?

Whether you have spotlights with a clamp for a 22 mm tube or spotlights that attach with screws, the included adapter bracket supports both systems. 22 mm is the size used by almost all auxiliary spotlight manufacturers, so compatibility is broad, but still check the mounting point of the model you have chosen.

Is the adapter included, or is it paid for separately?

It is included. LOBOO provides it in the package so you don’t have to buy additional hardware if your spotlights are secured with screws rather than clamps.

Can I use it with spotlights from other brands?

Yes: the 22 mm tube is an industry standard, and with the included adapter it also fits spotlights with screw mounting. LOBOO does not publish a list of approved models, so check the mounting type of the spotlight you have chosen.

Can the beam angle be adjusted?

Yes: the mounting bracket is swiveling and allows you to tilt the light upward or downward, adapting the illuminated area to your riding position and the terrain. It’s best to do this in the dark, with the motorcycle loaded as you actually use it.
