Lower mount that allows you to install DENALI DM, D2, D3, and S4 lights in a low position on the KTM 1290 Adventure R and S from 2021 to 2022. Powder-coated steel brackets with an M8 mounting hole and all the necessary hardware.

Only the compact lights in the range: DENALI specifies it for the DM, D2, D3, and S4, which are intended in this position primarily for daytime visibility. For larger lights, the same bike has an upper mount.

Lower-mounted lights widen the beam toward the road edges, but they are more exposed to mud and debris: it is worth checking the tightness and cleaning them more often.

DENALI declares support for the KTM 1290 Adventure R and S from 2021 to 2022, and only for the compact DM, D2, D3, and S4 lights: in this position, they work primarily for daytime visibility.

Broad beam, with a few precautions

In a low position, the spotlights widen the beam toward the edges of the road and provide greater depth on dirt roads, where seeing nearby potholes matters more than distance.

However, they are more exposed to mud and stones: it's a good idea to check the tightness and cleanliness more often, and consider protective grilles if you ride the motorcycle off-road.

This mount accepts only DM, D2, D3, and S4. If you want larger auxiliary lights, the same motorcycle has the LAH0410500 upper mount, specified for the entire DENALI range.

DENALI does not specify combined use of the two mounts: if you want both, check clearances and total power consumption.

Montaggio e requisiti

Istruzioni complete e note di sicurezza

Compatibilità dichiarata. KTM 1290 Adventure S dal 2021 al 2026. Sulla versione R l'avantreno è diverso: in quel caso si usa il supporto superiore.

Montaggio. Si fissa ai punti già previsti dal costruttore, senza forare né modificare nulla. I faretti si montano poi sul supporto con la viteria M8 in dotazione con il faretto stesso.

Attenzione alla posizione bassa. I faretti sono più esposti a fango e sassi: controlla serraggio e pulizia più spesso e valuta le griglie di protezione se usi la moto fuoristrada.

Coppie e verifica finale. Frenafiletti a media resistenza, 18,0 Nm sulla viteria M8 e controllo dopo i primi 50 km. Poi puntamento a 7,6 metri e verifica con manubrio a fondo corsa e forcella compressa.

DENALI riconosce 5 anni di garanzia convenzionale del produttore. Si aggiunge, e non sostituisce, i 24 mesi di garanzia legale di conformità previsti per legge.

Restano esclusi usura normale, abrasione, uso improprio, installazione errata, incidenti e modifiche. Tagliare o adattare le staffe rientra fra le modifiche e fa decadere la garanzia del produttore.

L'uso su strada pubblica dei fasci supplementari è regolato dal codice della strada del Paese in cui circoli: verifica sempre le prescrizioni locali su numero, posizione e accensione dei fari supplementari.

A chi ha una 1290 Adventure R o S del 2021-2022 e vuole i faretti compatti in basso, soprattutto per farsi vedere di giorno e allargare il fascio verso i bordi della strada.
