Code LAH0810700 — DENALI code LAH.08.10700

Lower bracket for mounting DENALI DM, D2, D3 and S4 lights in a low position on the 2022-2023 Kawasaki KLR 650, secured to the lower triple clamp. Powder-coated steel brackets with an M8 mounting hole and all necessary hardware.

Two conditions stated by DENALI: the bracket does not fit the KLR 650 S, because its lower setup does not allow it; and it only accepts compact lights. For the D4 and D7, there is the upper crash bar with mounting points, code LAH0810900.

Pay attention to the generation: despite the identical name, the KLR 650 released from 2022 onward does not share its front end with the KLR 650 E up to 2018. They are two different motorcycles with different brackets.

Who is it recommended for

A chi ha una KLR 650 del 2022 o 2023, non la versione S, e vuole i faretti compatti in basso: fascio largo verso i bordi e profondità vicina.

Se vuoi montare D4 o D7 serve il paramotore superiore con attacchi. E se la tua KLR è una 650 E fino al 2018, serve il supporto dedicato a quella generazione.

This is the lower mount: it places the compact DM, D2, D3, and S4 lights low, on the steering plate, for a wide beam toward the edges. It does not fit the KLR 650 S, which is too low.

For D4 and D7, there is the upper crash bar with mounts, LAH0810900, which places them high on the outside of the headlight.

Despite the identical name, the KLR 650 released from 2022 onward does not share its front end with the KLR 650 E up to 2018: they are two different motorcycles with different mounts. This is the most common purchasing mistake for this model.

Near the front wheel, the auxiliary lights are exposed to mud, stones, and spray. DENALI lights are waterproof, so sealing is not the issue, but it's a good idea to check the tightness and cleanliness more often.

On a motorcycle that regularly goes off-road, consider protective grilles.

Is it compatible with the KLR 650 E through 2018?

No. Despite the identical name, the KLR 650 from 2022 onward is a new motorcycle with a different front end. The dedicated mount is available for the KLR 650 E up to 2018.

Is this better, or the upper support?

It depends on the auxiliary lights. This mount accepts only the compact DM, D2, D3, and S4 lights and keeps them low to widen the beam toward the edges. For the D4 and D7, DENALI recommends the upper crash bar with mounts, LAH0810900, which positions them outside the headlight.

Do the spotlights on the bottom get damaged?

They are more exposed to mud and stones, but DENALI lights are waterproof: the protection rating is indicated in each model's specifications. However, it is advisable to check tightness and cleanliness more often, and use protective grilles if you ride off-road.

Premium upgrade on my BMW GS
