Specific mount that allows any DENALI light to be installed in the optimal position on the Honda CB 500 X from 2013 to 2021. Powder-coated steel brackets with an M8 mounting hole and all necessary hardware.

Three generations, one mount: DENALI specifies it for the first generation (2013-2015), the second (2016-2018), and the third (2019-2021).

Advice on choosing the lights. On a mid-displacement motorcycle, it is worth considering current draw before power: a compact pair still provides a huge improvement over the stock headlight without putting the electrical system under strain.

The CB 500 X has less electrical reserve than a large adventure bike. Before choosing auxiliary lights, it is worth checking the wattage: a pair of DL4s draws 32 W each, while a pair of D7 PROs reaches 98 W per light.

On this bike, the compact option still provides a huge leap over the stock headlight without putting strain on the electrical system.

Which auxiliary lights are suitable for this motorcycle?

The M8 mounting hole works with the entire range, but on a mid-displacement motorcycle it’s worth checking power consumption: the DL4s draw 32 W per light, while the D7 PROs reach 98 W. If you already have other accessories connected, you’ll notice the difference.

Do I need a relay, or can I connect them to the system?

A relay wiring harness is required: a pair of auxiliary lights draws more power than an accessory circuit can provide. DENALI offers complete wiring kits with a relay, fuse holder, and switch.

Premium upgrade on my BMW GS
