Description Upper auxiliary light bracket for BMW R 1300 GS

Code LAH0711600 — DENALI code LAH.07.11600

Specific mount for installing any DENALI light on the BMW R 1300 GS in the high position, on either side of the headlight. Its low-profile design and compact geometry provide a clean installation, with no protruding brackets.

The package includes two powder-coated steel brackets with an M8 mounting hole and all the necessary hardware. Light weight, approximately 270 grams.

Attention if you have upper crash bars. DENALI warns that this bracket may interfere with original or aftermarket upper crash bars. In that case, the solution is the articulated clamp for 21 to 29 mm bars, which attaches directly to the crash bar.

This is the same mount used in the DL4 and D7 PRO light kits for the R 1300 GS: if you upgrade your lights in the future, the mounting point remains.

Why choose it

Who is it recommended for

Documents and manufacturer

Restano esclusi usura normale, abrasione, uso improprio, installazione errata, incidenti e modifiche.

How does it work, in detail?

  • Small lights at the top, beside the headlight, for range.
Low-profile design, clean installation

Low-profile design, clean installation

This is what sets DENALI apart: the low profile and compact geometry keep the brackets close to the headlight, without arms sticking out to the sides. The auxiliary lights end up in the optimal position, and the motorcycle retains a clean look.

Two powder-coated steel brackets with M8 holes and all the necessary hardware, weighing approximately 270 grams in total.

Caution if you have upper engine guards

Caution if you have upper engine guards

DENALI states it openly: this bracket may interfere with the upper engine guard bars, both original and aftermarket. If you have them installed, check the clearance before ordering.

In that case, the solution is the articulated clamp for bars from 21 to 29 mm, which attaches directly to the engine guard and does not use the motorcycle's mounting points.

Top or bottom: they can be used together

Top or bottom: they can be used together

Up high, the auxiliary lights illuminate farther ahead and stay better protected from stones and debris. Down low, they widen the beam along the road edges and provide greater depth on unpaved terrain. For the R 1300 GS, a lower mount is also available, and the two are not alternatives: they can be installed together to get both benefits.

The M8 hole accommodates the entire range of DENALI auxiliary lights and is the same mounting point used in the DL4 and D7 PRO kits for this motorcycle.

FAQs

Does it also fit the R 1300 GS Adventure?

No. The R 1300 GS Adventure has different mounting points and requires the dedicated mount for the Adventure version.

Can I install it if I already have crash bars?

Check first. DENALI warns that this bracket may interfere with upper crash bars, whether original or aftermarket. If you have them, the right choice is the articulated clamp for bars from 21 to 29 mm.

Can I also install the lower support?

Yes, the two are not mutually exclusive. Many people install two pairs of spotlights, one high up for range and one lower down to widen the beam at the edges and on unpaved roads. Just check that your controller's circuits can handle the total power draw.
