Lower mount that allows any DENALI driving light to be installed in the low position on K 1600 GT and GTL from 2011 to 2025, K 1600 B and Grand America from 2018 to 2025. This is the mount in the range with the broadest coverage: fifteen years of production and four models.

Powder-coated steel brackets with an M8 mounting hole and all necessary hardware, weighing approximately 590 grams.

The low position widens the beam toward the edges of the road, where a touring motorcycle gains the most on nighttime bends. It attaches to the mounting points provided by the manufacturer, with no drilling required.

Who is it recommended for

It covers the K 1600 GT and GTL from 2011 to 2025, plus the K 1600 B and Grand America from 2018 to 2025: fifteen years of production and four models with a single part. If you're unsure of your bike's exact year, this is the support that is least likely to be wrong.

Low position: wide beam in corners

Mounted low, the auxiliary lights widen the beam toward the edges of the road. On a touring motorcycle, that is where they make the biggest difference: on night-time curves, the original headlight illuminates straight ahead while the road turns, and the low-mounted lights cover precisely that area.

In return, they are more exposed to spray and debris, so it is worth checking their cleanliness and tightness a little more often.

Aiming in travel configuration

On a K 1600, aiming should be done with the bike as you actually use it: two-up, with the panniers full and the top case fitted. Rear suspension sag raises the nose, causing the auxiliary lights to illuminate higher than they did when you adjusted them unloaded.

The DENALI method: bike level, 7.6 meters from a wall, with a horizontal line 5 cm below the center of the auxiliary lights.

Does it really cover all the K 1600 models?

Almost. The stated compatibility is with the K 1600 GT and GTL from 2011 to 2025, and the K 1600 B and Grand America from 2018 to 2025: it is the support in the family with the widest coverage.

Is this better, or a support in a higher position?

It depends on how you ride. Down low, the auxiliary lights widen the beam toward the edges, which is useful on nighttime curves; up high, they illuminate farther ahead and are better protected. On a touring motorcycle, the lower position is often the most effective.

Which spotlights can I install on it?

Any DENALI spotlight: the mounting hole is M8, the standard across the entire range.
