Description BMW R 1250 GS - ADV side cases
Complete kit for BMW R 1250 GS and Adventure: the pair of JP071B side frames with mounting hardware, plus the two 45- and 38-liter PIKE TRACKER aluminum cases, in the finish of your choice. One order, nothing else to match.
One kit for four GS models
The JP071B frame manual lists four motorcycles: R 1200 GS from 2013, R 1200 GS Adventure from 2014, R 1250 GS and R 1250 GS Adventure from 2019. The box also includes the spacers and bolts marked ADV, used only on Adventure models: there is no need to order a different part number depending on the version. On R 1200 GS models before 2013, the frame geometry is different.
Why 45+38 instead of symmetrical
The exhaust silencer runs along the right side of these motorcycles. The 38-liter case is shaped around the exhaust, with a recessed lower wall: it leaves the necessary space and prevents the motorcycle from becoming too wide on that side. On the R 1300 GS, where the geometry has changed, symmetrical configurations are available instead.
How much it holds and how much it can weigh
83 liters in total, 45 on the left and 38 on the right. LOBOO specifies a maximum load of 10 kg per side case: volume is not the only limit to bear in mind when loading.
Construction
- High-strength aluminum, with lower corners protected by structural plastic bumpers
- Key lock with a five-disc cylinder, removable and replaceable without changing the case
- Scratch-resistant inner lining and 3M reflective inserts on the outer side
- Finishes: polished silver or matte black, with the same construction
LOBOO states that the series is water- and dust-resistant, but does not publish an IP rating: we do not report one because it is not data certified by the manufacturer.
Installation
No drilling required. However, the manual calls for removing some original components on both sides and around the exhaust, with one part to be refitted once the work is complete: reversible operations, using the supplied hardware and tool. The package contains 12 components, and final tightening must be carried out in sequence at 20 N·m on all M8 bolts, after completing the adjustments.
What is not included
The top case and its rear mounting plate are sold separately. The LR06 LED light with sensor is supplied by LOBOO only with the three-case set, so it is not included in this kit.
Alternatives on the same frames
The JP071B frames also support the 40+30-liter semi-rigid WANDERER cases, if you prefer a lighter solution: this is compatibility we verified ourselves, based on the 18 mm tube requirement that LOBOO specifies for those cases. If you already have the frames, you can purchase only the cases from the PIKE TRACKER series page.
Maintenance
Wash with a water jet held at least one meter away, use neutral detergent, and dry immediately afterward. Avoid acidic or alkaline products. Note down the number stamped on the key: it is needed to have a copy made.

Premium upgrade on my BMW GS
