Can I mount a white shield on black brackets?

Only if those are damaged too. LOBOO divides the handguard system into three parts: the motorcycle-specific bracket kit, this shield, and the slider kit. After a fall, the slider, which is the part designed to scrape along the ground, may have worn down, or the shield, or both.It is best to inspect the handguards before ordering: they are separate products precisely because they wear out at different rates.

Pair of aluminum alloy shields for LOBOO handguards, with wind deflectors and assembly hardware. Available in black and white.

They can only be mounted on LOBOO handguards. They are not compatible with the motorcycle's original handguards or those from other brands: the mounts and geometry are different.

The part that takes the hits

In the LOBOO handguard system, the brackets provide support and the shield offers protection. The shield is what intercepts branches, stones, and asphalt, so it is the first component to get damaged. After a low-speed fall, if the brackets are not deformed, there is no need to buy the complete set again: replace the shield and the motorcycle is back to its original condition.

It is also the way to change the handguard color without replacing everything. Black and white are the same component with a different finish, and they pair with brackets of any color: the combination of black brackets with a white shield is the one LOBOO itself offers in its sets.

What's in the box, and what needs to be assembled

The manual's parts list includes five items: the left and right shields, the left and right deflectors, and four M4 × 10 mm screws. The shield and deflector are therefore two separate pieces, and the installation view shows the deflector secured to the shield with two screws per side.

What to know before ordering

A simple replacement part, with one important limitation: it fits LOBOO handguards, not the motorcycle’s original ones.

The shield is the part that takes the hits.

In the LOBOO handguard system, the brackets support and the shield protects: it is the shield that takes the impact from branches, stones, and asphalt, so it is also the first part to wear out. The CHP001 is exactly that part, sold individually.

After a fall, if the brackets are intact, there is no need to buy the set again: replace the shield and the bike is back to the way it was. It is also the way to change the color without changing everything.

Black or white, same piece

The two finishes are the same component in two colors: black and white, both with the adjustable wind deflector already mounted. Only the appearance changes, not the geometry or mounting.

This means you can mount a white shield on black brackets, or vice versa, without compatibility issues: it’s the combination that LOBOO itself offers in its sets.

It fits the LOBOO handguards of any motorcycle.

I paramani riducono l'esposizione di mani e leve, ma non sono un dispositivo di sicurezza omologato e non sostituiscono guanti e abbigliamento protettivo.
Dopo la sostituzione verifica che lo sterzo arrivi a fine corsa da entrambi i lati senza interferenze e che cavi e comandi restino liberi.
Rispetta la coppia di serraggio dichiarata sulle viti M4: 1,5 N·m. Serrare oltre rischia di spanare la sede.
Uno scudo deformato da un urto precedente va sostituito e non raddrizzato.

Does the package contain one or two shields?
