Description LOBOO Offset Handlebar Riser for Triumph Tiger 900 and 850 Sport | Up 12 mm + Back 20 mm

Pair of LOBOO CJG91 handlebar risers for the Triumph Tiger: they position the grips 12 mm higher and 20 mm closer to the rider. The setback is what makes the difference on these bikes: the handlebar does not just rise; it moves closer to the rider’s torso and opens up the shoulder angle.

Compatible with the Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro and Tiger 900 GT Low from 2021 to 2023, and with the Tiger 850 Sport from 2021 onward, according to the applicable models declared by LOBOO.

They are machined from high-strength aluminum alloy using CNC machinery, with a silver anodized finish. LOBOO states that installation is non-destructive and based on the original vehicle data: they fit onto the existing handlebar mount without modifying the motorcycle.

Check after installation: make sure the cables, brake lines, and clutch lines have sufficient slack with the handlebars turned fully to both sides. This is the most important check for a riser and should never be skipped.

Why choose it
Who is it recommended for

How does it work, in detail?

They don’t just raise; they bring you closer.

They don’t just raise; they bring you closer.

On the Tiger, the problem for those who clock up miles is rarely the handlebar height—it’s the distance. Your arms stay stretched forward, your shoulders hunch, and your upper-body weight ends up on your wrists.

These risers address exactly that: twelve millimeters of lift and twenty millimeters of setback. The handlebar comes toward you more than it rises, and that’s what changes your posture.

LOBOO develops them using data from the original vehicle, with applications specified model by model: code CJG91 is for the 2021–2023 Tiger 900 Rally Pro and GT Low, and for the Tiger 850 Sport from 2021 onward.

Twelve millimeters up, twenty toward you

Twelve millimeters up, twenty toward you

The two measurements should be read together, and it is the second one that does the work. A twenty-millimeter setback shortens the distance to the grips by two centimeters: the torso straightens and the shoulders open up without raising the riding position.

The twelve-millimeter rise is deliberately modest: enough to change the angle of the wrists, but not enough to put strain on the cables and hoses or alter the feel of the ride.

High-strength aluminum, CNC-machined

High-strength aluminum, CNC-machined

The body is machined from solid using a computer numerical control machine and lightened with a lattice structure: material where it is needed, empty space where it is not. It is neither an extruded profile nor a casting.

The riser supports the handlebar and, when riding standing up, much of the rider’s upper-body weight. The alloy designation is not stated by the manufacturer, so we prefer not to specify one that no source confirms.

They replace the original clamps.

They replace the original clamps.

The LOBOO exploded view shows how it works: the riser attaches to the steering plate with the long screws and clamps onto the handlebar with the upper clamps and short screws. The locating pins maintain alignment.

LOBOO describes it as a non-destructive installation: no drilling, cutting, or modifications to the motorcycle’s structure. You can return it to its original state by reinstalling the stock clamps, which matters if the motorcycle is leased or you plan to resell it.

The handlebars remain yours

The handlebars remain yours

Risers don’t replace the handlebar: they take the place of the clamps and reposition the one you already have. The controls, grips, bar-end weights, and handguards stay where they are, so there’s no need to redo the wiring.

The seat is machined to match the original tube size, so clamping distributes pressure across the entire contact surface instead of concentrating it at a single point.

The check to perform before setting off again

The check to perform before setting off again

With an offset riser, the check is twofold. The first is the usual one: turn the handlebars fully to both sides, checking that the cables and brake and clutch lines do not pull or rub.

The second concerns the setback: the handlebars move two centimeters closer to the tank, so check that they do not touch it with the steering fully turned, including the tank bag if you use one. Then recheck the fasteners after the first one or two hundred kilometers.

Code CJG91, name: Bar risers, CNC machining, aluminum alloy, silver color, finish obtained through anodic oxidation. This is what LOBOO publishes for this product.

Weight, overall dimensions, and tightening torques are not specified, and we prefer to say so rather than fill the product sheet with estimated figures. If you need them before ordering, ask us and we’ll verify them with the distributor.

The three Tigers they were born for

The three Tigers they were born for

LOBOO lists three applications: Tiger 900 Rally Pro from 2021 to 2023, Tiger 900 GT Low from 2021 to 2023, and Tiger 850 Sport from 2021 onward.

The other versions are not listed, and this is a dedicated accessory: the steering plate varies from one version to another. If you have a GT Pro, a non-Pro Rally, or a later model year, write to us before ordering and we’ll check it together.

FAQs

For more information, please see our FAQ.

Will they fit my Tiger? Which models and years?

The LOBOO technical panel lists three applications: Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro from 2021 to 2023, Tiger 900 GT Low from 2021 to 2023, and Tiger 850 Sport from 2021 onward.

The other Tiger 900 versions, such as the GT Pro or Rally, are not listed. If your motorcycle is at the limit of a year range or version, contact us with the license plate or VIN, and we’ll verify it before you order.

What changes compared with a riser that only raises?

This stem is an offset riser: it raises the handlebar by twelve millimeters but moves it back by twenty, so it prioritizes bringing it closer rather than increasing height.

It is the solution for those who do not feel too low but too stretched forward: the handlebar comes toward the torso and the shoulders open up without noticeably changing the perceived height.

Do I need to lengthen the cables, brake lines, or clutch lines?

With a twelve-millimeter rise, the slack in the original cables is normally sufficient, and LOBOO does not provide replacements. However, the twenty-millimeter setback moves the handlebars toward the fuel tank, so this should be checked carefully.

With the motorcycle stationary, turn the handlebars fully to both sides and check that the cables and hoses do not pull, bind, or rub against the fuel tank.

Will they fit if I’m 1.75 m tall? And what if I’m 1.90 m tall?

With an offset riser, height matters less than torso and arm length: the main benefit is the setback, which shortens the reach to the handlebars.

If you find yourself stretched forward with hunched shoulders, these work well even if you are not particularly tall. If the issue is height alone, twelve millimeters is not much.

With the risers installed, does the tank bag still fit?

This is the most important check on an offset riser: the handlebars move back by twenty millimeters, so the clearance to the tank is reduced by the same amount.

If you use a bulky tank bag or a centrally mounted navigation system holder, after installation check the steering at full lock with the bag mounted and full.

Is the price for one or for the pair?

For the pair: you receive both risers with the mounting hardware, which is everything needed for the entire handlebar.

What’s in the package?

The two risers, left and right, with mounting hardware: the LOBOO panel shows the long screws for attaching to the plate and the short ones for the upper clamps.

The manufacturer does not publish a detailed parts list; if you need confirmation of the individual components before ordering, write to us.

Do I need a mechanic, or can I install them myself?

It’s within reach of anyone with a torque wrench and a basic level of mechanical skill: remove the handlebar’s upper clamps, replace them with the risers, and tighten everything back up.

A torque wrench is truly essential because these are the bolts securing the handlebar. Without the right tool, it’s better to rely on a workshop.

What material are they made of?

LOBOO states that it uses high-strength CNC-machined aluminum alloy with a silver anodized finish. The manufacturer does not specify the alloy designation, so we prefer not to provide one that no source confirms.

Does it change anything about the ride besides comfort?

The closer handlebar shifts the torso slightly backward and makes riding in a standing position more natural, eliminating the need to lean forward to reach the grips. At low speeds, it provides a more immediate sense of control.

This does not alter the chassis: the geometry, suspension, and braking system remain original.

Does the original handlebar remain the same?

Yes. The risers do not replace the handlebar: they take the place of the clamps and reposition the one you already have. The controls, grips, bar-end weights, and handguards also remain in place.

Can I return to the original setup?

Yes. LOBOO states that the installation is non-destructive and based on the original vehicle data: no drilling, no cutting, and no permanent modifications. Reinstall the stock clamps, and the motorcycle returns to its original condition.

How much do they weigh, and what torque values should I use?

LOBOO does not publish the weight or torque values for this code, and we prefer to tell you rather than estimate.

The torque specifications to follow are those provided by Triumph for the handlebar clamps on your Tiger. If you don't have them at hand, write to us.
