The riser supports the handlebar and, when riding standing up, much of the rider’s upper-body weight: it is a load-bearing component, not a spacer. LOBOO states that it is made from high-strength aluminum alloy produced by CNC machining, with a fit precision equivalent to that of the original components.

The alloy designation is not disclosed by the manufacturer, and we prefer not to specify one that no source confirms.

Anodizing is not a layer sitting on top of the metal like paint: it is a conversion of the aluminum’s surface itself. It does not chip at the first wrench strike during installation and withstands winter saltwater better.

The black matches the original Honda components: once installed, the risers look like a factory part.

LOBOO refers to non-destructive installation: the risers fit onto the existing mounting points, with no cutting or permanent modifications to the motorcycle's structure.

This also means you can reverse the process whenever you want: reinstall the stock clamps, and the motorcycle is back to its original state.

The same riser fits the CB500X from 2019 and the NX400 and NX500 from 2024 because the three motorcycles share the same handlebar clamp spacing. LOBOO also lists the CB500 Super Four from 2026, which our distributor has not yet included.

The CB400X and NC750X are not included, as they have a dedicated part number: if you have one of those, you can find the correct product page on the website.

Once installed, the handlebar remains parallel to its original position: the risers raise it without tilting it or moving the controls relative to your hands. The grips, bar-end weights, mirrors, and handguards remain in place.

The design follows the line of the steering plate: from the outside, it is barely noticeable; from the saddle, you feel it immediately.

Risers don’t replace the handlebar: they take the place of the clamps and reposition the one you already have. There’s no need to redo the wiring or move the controls.

The seat is machined to fit the original tube, so tightening distributes pressure across the entire contact surface instead of concentrating it in one spot.

LOBOO writes that in most cases, the riser falls within the range accommodated by the stock cables. In most cases, not all: this must be checked on your motorcycle.

With the motorcycle stationary, turn the handlebars fully to both sides and inspect the cables and brake and clutch lines: nothing should become taut, catch, or rub. Then recheck the fasteners after the first one or two hundred kilometers.
