Description LOBOO Handlebar Riser for Benelli TRK 552X (2024+) | 28 mm Rise + 16.8 mm Setback

Pair of LOBOO CJG683 handlebar risers for the Benelli TRK 552X from 2024 onward: they raise the grip position by 28 mm and bring it 16.8 mm closer to the rider.

They are among the most generous risers in the LOBOO range, and the difference is noticeable on a touring motorcycle: your shoulders open up, your wrists work at a less acute angle, and when standing on the foot pegs, you no longer need to lean forward toward the handlebar.

The body is made from high-strength aluminum alloy with CNC machining, with a matte black anodized finish that complements the TRK’s dark components.

They mount to the original attachment points, with no permanent modifications to the motorcycle, and the installation is reversible.

Post-installation check: with 28 mm of rise, checking the cables is more important than ever. Turn the handlebar to full lock on both sides and make sure the cables, brake lines, and clutch lines do not become taut or rub.

Why choose it
  • Reduced fatigue:reduces the strain on wrists, shoulders, and back on long rides.
  • Standing control:more natural position when standing on the pegs.
  • Dedicated to model:Benelli TRK 552X from 2024.
Who is it recommended for

It's useful if, after a few hours in the saddle, you feel pressure on your wrists and shoulders with your TRK 552X, you ride standing up and have to lean too far forward, or you are taller than average.

Check after installation: make sure that cables, brake and clutch lines have enough slack when the steering is fully turned, on both sides.

Documents and manufacturer

Assembly and checks

  • After assembly, check the play of the cables, brake and clutch lines with the steering fully turned, on both sides.
  • Observe the torque settings specified by the manufacturer and re-check after the first 100-200 km.
  • Verify model and year before purchasing.

How does it work, in detail?

Almost three centimeters: a lift you can feel

Almost three centimeters: a lift you can feel

Twenty-eight millimeters is among the most generous adjustments in the LOBOO range. This is not a barely perceptible correction: the torso straightens and the riding position changes noticeably.

It is the choice for riders who feel too low and leaned forward on the TRK and want to solve the problem rather than merely mitigate it.

Not just upward: also toward you

Not just upward: also toward you

To the 28 mm of rise, 16.8 mm of setback is added. The two dimensions work together: the handlebar rises while also moving closer to the torso.

It’s the combination that truly opens up the shoulders. A riser that only raises the handlebar leaves the arms stretched forward; this also shortens the distance to the grips.

High-strength aluminum, CNC-machined

High-strength aluminum, CNC-machined

The riser supports the handlebar and, when riding standing up, much of the rider’s upper-body weight: it is a load-bearing component, not a spacer. LOBOO states that it is made of high-strength aluminum alloy produced by CNC machining.

The alloy designation is not disclosed by the manufacturer, and we prefer not to specify one that no source confirms.

Matte anodized black

Matte anodized black

Anodizing is not a layer sitting on top of the metal like paint: it is a conversion of the aluminum surface itself. It does not chip at the first wrench strike during installation and withstands winter road saltwater better.

The matte finish complements the TRK's dark components, without reflections that clash with the rest of the motorcycle.

It mounts on the original mounting points

It mounts on the original mounting points

The risers fit between the triple clamp and the handlebar clamps using the existing mounting points: no drilling, no adaptations, no permanent modifications.

You can always revert by reinstalling the original clamps.

How do they look when assembled?

How do they look when assembled?

Once installed, the handlebar remains parallel to its original position: the risers raise and pull it back without tilting it, and the controls do not change position relative to your hands.

The grips, bar-end weights, mirrors, and handguards remain in place: there is no need to redo the wiring or move anything.

LOBOO states compatibility with the Benelli TRK 552X from 2024 onward, and our distributor’s price list shows the same application.

However, the TRK family includes several models, and the steering plate varies by version: if you have a 502X, 702X, or another TRK, contact us before ordering and we’ll check it together.

The control that matters most here

The control that matters most here

On a 28 mm riser, checking the cables is not a formality. The higher the handlebar rises, the more available slack is used up on the brake lines, clutch cables, and electrical wiring.

With the motorcycle stationary, turn the handlebars fully to both sides and inspect every cable: nothing should pull, bind, or rub. If anything is under tension, the routing must be revised before getting back on the road. Then recheck the fasteners after the first one or two hundred kilometres.

FAQs

For more information, please see our FAQ.

Will they fit my motorcycle? Which model and year?

LOBOO declares compatibility with the Benelli TRK 552X from 2024 onward, and our distributor’s price list shows the same application.

If you have a TRK 502X, a 702X, or another model in the TRK family, write to us before ordering: the steering plate varies from one version to another, and we prefer to verify it together.

How far does the handlebar move?

Twenty-eight millimetres in height and 16.8 millimetres of setback toward the rider. These dimensions are fixed: there are no variants with different measurements or adjustments after installation.

They are among the most generous figures in the LOBOO range: almost three centimetres higher noticeably change the riding position.

Aren’t twenty-eight millimeters too much?

It depends on what you’re looking for. Compared with 19 or 20 mm risers, these change your riding position noticeably: if the problem is that you feel too low and stretched forward, they’re the right solution.

If you’re looking for a barely perceptible adjustment, nearly three centimetres might be too much. That’s also why the cables on this model need to be checked more carefully.

Do I need to lengthen the cables, brake lines, or clutch lines?

Here, verification matters more than with other risers: 28 mm is a significant increase, and LOBOO does not state that the stock cables have sufficient slack.

With the motorcycle stationary, turn the handlebars fully to both sides and check that the cables and brake and clutch lines do not pull tight, bind, or rub. If anything is under tension, the routing must be revised before riding again.

Is the price for one or for the pair?

For the pair: you receive both risers, which is everything needed for the entire handlebar.

What’s in the package?

The two risers with the mounting hardware. LOBOO does not publish a detailed parts list for this code, and we prefer to tell you that rather than list undocumented components.

If you need confirmation of the individual parts before ordering, contact us and we’ll ask the distributor.

With the risers installed, does the tank bag still fit?

The handlebar moves back by 16.8 mm, so the clearance toward the tank is reduced by just under two centimeters. On most setups, nothing changes, but with a bulky bag, it's worth testing.

After installation, check the steering at full lock with the bag mounted and full.

Can I return to the original setup?

Yes. The risers mount to the original mounting points without permanent modifications: reinstall the stock clamps, and the motorcycle returns to its original configuration.

What material are they made of?

LOBOO states that it uses high-strength CNC-machined aluminum alloy with a matte black anodized finish. The alloy designation is not specified by the manufacturer, and we prefer not to provide one that no source confirms.

Do I need a mechanic, or can I install them myself?

It is within the reach of anyone with a torque wrench and a little mechanical skill: remove the handlebar’s upper clamps, place the risers between them, and reassemble.

The torque wrench is genuinely necessary because these bolts secure the handlebar. LOBOO does not publish torque values for this part number; the values specified by Benelli must be followed. Without the tool, it is better to use a workshop.

Does the original handlebar remain the same?

Yes. Risers do not replace the handlebar: they fit between the top plate and the clamps, repositioning the one you already have. The controls, grips, bar-end weights, and handguards remain where they are.

Does it change anything about the ride besides comfort?

Standing on the footpegs, you no longer need to lean forward and gain more leverage on the handlebars; when seated, your back stays straighter and shoulder tension decreases.

This is not a modification to the chassis: the geometry, suspension, and braking system remain original.

How much do they weigh?

LOBOO does not publish the weight for this part number, and we would rather tell you that than estimate. In any case, these are two aluminum blocks just a few centimeters in size: the increase compared with the original clamps is on the order of a few dozen grams.
