LOBOO states a twenty-millimeter rise, just under an inch. The modest increase is intentional: it is enough to change the angle of your shoulders and wrists without moving the controls into an unnatural position or putting tension on the cable routing.

You notice it after the first hour on the highway; standing, you notice it immediately, on the first rough section.

The riser supports the handlebar and, when riding standing up, much of the rider’s upper-body weight: it is a load-bearing component, not a spacer. LOBOO states that it is made of high-strength aluminum alloy produced by CNC machining, for a precise fit on the plate.

The alloy designation is not disclosed by the manufacturer, and we prefer not to specify one that no source confirms.

Anodization isn’t a layer sitting on top of the metal like paint: it’s a conversion of the aluminum’s surface itself. It won’t chip at the first knock from a wrench during installation and stands up better to salty winter water.

The matte black complements the dark components of the 800MT-X: once installed, the risers look like part of the bike.

LOBOO talks about non-destructive installation: the risers attach to the existing mounting points, without drilling, cutting, or modifications to the steering plate.

It also means you can reverse the installation whenever you want: reinstall the stock clamps and the motorcycle is back to its original condition. This matters if it’s leased or if you plan to resell it.

Once installation is complete, the handlebar remains parallel to its original position: the risers raise it without tilting it or shifting the controls relative to your hands. The grips, bar-end weights, mirrors, and navigation mount remain in place.

The added bulk is minimal, and the profile follows the line of the plate, so they are barely noticeable from the outside.

The manufacturer declares compatibility only with the CFMOTO 800MT-X from 2024 onward. The 800MT, although it has the same family name, has a different steering plate and uses a different reference.

This is the check to make before ordering: look at the model designation on the side of your motorcycle, not the engine displacement.
