Pair of resistors for LED turn signals. LED turn signals draw very little current: on motorcycles designed for bulb turn signals, the relay detects them as a burned-out bulb and makes them flash too quickly (hyper flash), or not flash at all. The resistors restore the flash rate to approximately 60-90 times per minute without changing the original relay.

Do I need them?

Yes, if your motorcycle left the factory with bulb turn signals and you are installing Prima or Nova quick-release turn signals. They are not needed if the motorcycle was originally equipped with LED turn signals. On some motorcycles, if you keep the bulb turn signals at the front and install LED ones only at the rear, you may not need them.

How to install them

1. Locate the turn signal wires.
2. Connect one resistor to each LED turn signal: red wire to positive, black wire to negative. Add more until the relay flashes at the normal rate.
3. If the system has 3 wires, ignore the position light wire and use only positive and negative.
4. If the turn signals do not work, reverse the red and black wires: LEDs are polarity-sensitive.

The resistors heat up while the turn signal is flashing: secure them away from fairings and plastic parts.
