A well-made crimp won’t come loose

The terminal must be crimped flush, evenly onto the copper and the insulation. With a generic pair of pliers, it deforms and the connection fails after a few hundred miles of vibration: it’s the kind of fault you discover far from home, and it doesn’t show up during the first inspection. This tool has a ratchet and adjustable compression, and works with male and female terminals from 0.1 to 1 mm² on 28 to 18 AWG wire.
