Reinforced rear rack for the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure from 2024 onward: support frame and top case plate, with hardware, spacers, and threadlocker. It replaces the original rack and supports the LOBOO top case. The top case is not included.

LOBOO calls it Top Case Rack (Enhanced Version), part number JP151WPRO, and lists it for the PIKE TRACKER, TIBET, and CONQUEROR series.

Which top cases can you mount?

In LOBOO's photo, the plate has mounts for the PIKE TRACKER P45T and P36T top cases, the TIBET T36T, and the CONQUEROR top case. You can find the PIKE TRACKER top cases on the PIKE TRACKER aluminum top cases page, and the 40-liter CONQUEROR on the CONQUEROR cases for the R 1300 GS Adventure page.

LOBOO aluminum top cases can only be mounted on LOBOO plates and racks.

Reinforced rack or plate on the original rack?

For the Adventure, LOBOO offers two options for mounting a top case. This rack replaces the original one with its own support frame. Alternatively, there is the JPT131WA top case plate, which mounts on top of the original BMW rack and is the same for the GS and GS Adventure.

Does it fit the R 1300 GS without the Adventure?

No. The JP131WB reinforced rear rack is available for the R 1300 GS: the two part numbers are not interchangeable.

What's included

The manual lists 7 items: support frame, plate, 4 M6 × 35 screws, 2 caps, 4 spacers measuring 20 × 8.5 × 18 mm, 2 spacers measuring 20 × 8.5 × 6.5 mm, and one tube of threadlocker.

How to install it

Seven illustrated steps, with no drilling required. Remove the seat, disconnect a connector beneath the tail section, and remove the original rack with its screws. Then secure the support frame with the shorter spacers and close the tubes with the caps. Finally, install the plate on top with the taller spacers and the four M6 × 35 screws.

The M6 × 35 screws must be tightened to 12 N·m. LOBOO says not to fully tighten them immediately: make all adjustments first, then tighten to the specified torque in sequence. Reinstall the removed original parts according to the torque specifications provided by BMW.

The three-case system

Together with the JP151B side case frames, this rack forms the reinforced three-case set shown in LOBOO's table. If you're starting from scratch, the already-matched cases and frames are included in the PIKE TRACKER side case kit for the R 1300 GS Adventure.

The manual does not state the material, weight, or maximum load, so we do not specify them. The load capacity stated by BMW for the motorcycle's rack applies. All other accessories for the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure are in the dedicated collection.

In the LOBOO table, the R 1300 GS Adventure has its own reinforced luggage rack, the JP151WPRO, and its own JP151B side frames. The plate for the original luggage rack fits both the GS and GS Adventure, while the sliding luggage rack is only for the GS. LOBOO aluminum cases can only be mounted on LOBOO supports.

You need this kit if you have a BMW R 1300 GS Adventure and want to mount a LOBOO top case on a dedicated base, not on adapter brackets.

Pay attention to the version:for the standard R 1300 GS, you need the codes from the 131 series, also available on a separate page in the plate-only version, at a lower price.

What does code JP151WPRO include?

The rack frame that replaces the original luggage rack and the plate onto which the top case attaches, with screws, spacers, two caps, and threadlocker. The top case is not included and must be purchased separately.

Can I use it on an R 1300 GS without Adventure?

No. The manual states this only for the R 1300 GS Adventure from 2024 onward. For the R 1300 GS, there is the reinforced rear luggage rack JP131WB, on a separate page.

What torque should the screws be tightened to?

The four M6 × 35 screws on the plate should be tightened to 12 N·m. LOBOO requires presenting all the parts, completing the adjustments, and tightening them in sequence only at the end. A torque wrench is required and is not included.
