Description LOBOO CONQUEROR – Aluminum Panniers, Top Case, and Frames for BMW R 1300 GS Adventure

The LOBOO CONQUEROR system for BMW R 1300 GS Adventure is a complete aluminum range: two 45-liter side cases, a 40-liter top case, and specific frames for the Adventure's subframe. Cases and frames are sold separately, so you can start with what you need and complete it later.

Adventure frames are different

The R 1300 GS Adventure has a different rear subframe from the GS: you need the JP151B for the side cases and the JP151WPRO for the rear rack. They are not interchangeable with the JP131B and JP131WB of the standard GS.

The only shared part between the two models is the JPT131WA top case plate: if you switch from a GS to a GS Adventure, you won't need to repurchase that.

Patented 9-point mounting

The case and frame connect at nine support points, covered by utility model patent no. ZL 2017 2 0624675.2. The setup remains rigid, and the rattling typical of two or three-point systems after a few thousand kilometers does not appear.

The release is calibrated: in a side fall, the case remains in place, while in a strong frontal impact, it is designed to detach, so as not to transfer the impact to the motorcycle's subframe.

How the cases are made

  • High-strength aluminum alloy plates, anodized anti-corrosion, in Black or Silver
  • Rubber bumpers and Case Protector on the edges: absorb impact and increase ground friction during a slide
  • CNC-machined one-piece sealing frame, with rubber gaskets, German rivets, and Swiss adhesive
  • 60-lumen, IP66 sensor internal light: turns on when opened and detaches to become a headlamp
  • Flocked interior lining that won't scratch the helmet, document pockets in the lid
  • Aluminum hinge with integrated stopper and through extension rod on the lid

Compatibility

This page covers the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure from 2024. For the R 1300 GS without Adventure, you need the JP131B and JP131WB frames: the side cases and top case are identical.

If in doubt, write to us with your model, year, and if you have the original rack installed.

What comes in the box

Each case includes an internal light, a footrest cushion, storage bags for the lid, and keys. The frames include mounting hardware.

Why choose it

It's a system, not an accessory. It's worth the expense if:

  • You travel fully loaded and with a passenger, where the leverage effect of the top case on the frame is really felt
  • You cover serious mileage and want an attachment that won't start rattling after the first trip
  • You also go off-road and need an aluminum shell that can withstand impact
  • You want to start with one piece and complete the system over time, without having to buy everything again

If you cover just a few hundred kilometers a year and don't carry a passenger, a soft waterproof bag will do the same job at a fraction of the price.

Who is it recommended for

How to assemble the system:

  • Top case only: C40T 40L plus JPT131WA plate. This is the most economical combination to start with.
  • Side cases only: 45+45L pair plus JP151B frame, mandatory.
  • Complete system: pair of side cases, top case and one of the frame + support kits, which cost less than separate parts.
  • With passenger and heavy load: choose the kit with the JP151WPRO PRO rack, which is more rigid than the plate.

Colors: Black and Silver for the cases, only Silver for frames and racks.

Documents and manufacturer

Usage and notes

  • Respect the maximum load capacity of the subframe and luggage rack indicated by BMW: the system does not increase it.
  • Distribute the weight by keeping the heaviest load low and close to the wheel axle.
  • The load must not cover the license plate and tail lights, nor protrude beyond the limits set by the Highway Code.
  • Recheck the frame tightening after the first few kilometers and at each service.
  • Frontal impact release is a design feature declared by the manufacturer, not an approved safety device.
  • The manufacturer's warranty is 12 months and does not replace the 24-month legal guarantee of conformity provided for the consumer.

The JP151B frame is the one for the Adventure.

The JP151B frame is the one for the Adventure.

The R 1300 GS Adventure has a different rear subframe from the GS: a larger fuel tank, a longer tail section, and mounting points in different positions. The JP151B frame is designed for that geometry and is not interchangeable with the GS’s JP131B.

It is made of stainless steel and comes complete with brackets and hardware. Without it, the side cases cannot be mounted: it is the mandatory part.

The JPT131WA plate is the only shared part.

The JPT131WA plate is the only shared part.

On the R 1300 GS and R 1300 GS Adventure, everything that attaches to the subframe is different, but not the top-case plate: LOBOO lists the JPT131WA for both models.

It’s also the most economical way to mount the top case, and if you switch bikes someday but stay with the GS family, you won’t have to buy it again. In the kit with the JP151B rack, it costs less than buying it separately.

Nine attachment points, patent ZL 2017 2 0624675.2

Nine attachment points, patent ZL 2017 2 0624675.2

Systems with two or three attachment points have play from the outset, and the play increases with mileage: after a few thousand, rattling starts over patched roads. Here, the case and frame connect at nine points, covered by a utility model patent.

The release is calibrated: in a side fall, the case stays in place, while in a strong frontal impact it is designed to detach so as not to transfer the impact to the subframe. This is a design choice declared by the manufacturer, not a type-approved device.

Forty-five liters per side, symmetrical

Forty-five liters per side, symmetrical

On the R 1300 GS Adventure, the two side cases are identical: 45 liters on the left and 45 on the right, 90 liters in total. You don't need the asymmetrical version that curves around the exhaust on other GS models.

Adding the 40-liter top case brings the total to 130 liters: enough luggage for two people for two weeks, without strapping anything on top of the seat. They are the same cases as those on the R 1300 GS; only the mounting frames are different.

Black or Silver, and it’s not just about aesthetics

Black or Silver, and it’s not just about aesthetics

Black anodized aluminum hides surface scratches better and looks good on dark GS bikes. Silver is the classic for shipping, recognizable from a distance, and abrasions are less noticeable because the metal underneath is the same color.

Silver is cheaper than black at list price: about 80 euros less for the pair of side cases and 45 less for the top case. If you have no aesthetic preference, it’s the more economical choice. The frames are available only in Silver.

FAQs

For more information, please see our FAQ.

Can I use the frames from the standard R 1300 GS?

No. The Adventure has a different rear subframe: you need the JP151B for the side cases and the JP151WPRO for the top-case rack. The JP131B and JP131WB for the standard GS do not fit. The only part they share is the JPT131WA top-case plate, which LOBOO specifies for both models.

Are the panniers the same as those for the R 1300 GS?

Yes, identical: two 45-liter side cases and a 40-liter top case, with the same C45L, C45R, and C40T codes, in the same Black and Silver colors. If you switch from a GS to a GS Adventure, you only need the new frames; you can keep the cases.

Which rack should I choose for the top case?

Two options. The JPT131WA plate is the more economical solution and rests on the existing luggage rack. The PRO version of the JP151WPRO is a complete structure that replaces the original luggage rack and is more rigid: it makes sense if you carry heavy loads or often travel with a passenger.

Can I buy just the top case or just the panniers?

Yes. In the selector, each component can be purchased separately: a pair of side cases, a top case, a rack, a mounting plate, or a luggage rack. Many start with the top case and the JPT131WA mounting plate, which is the most economical combination to begin with, and add the side cases with the rack later.

How much cargo can it hold in total?

130 liters: 45 for each side case and 40 in the top case. That’s enough luggage for two people for two weeks without strapping anything onto the seat. However, always respect the maximum load capacity of the subframe specified by BMW: the system does not increase it.

Do the suitcases come off if you fall?

It depends on the type of impact, and it is intentional. In a side fall or a slide, the case remains attached. In a strong frontal impact, the system is designed to let it detach so that it does not transfer all the energy to the motorcycle’s subframe. LOBOO states that this is a design choice: it is not an approved safety device.

Will a full-face helmet fit in the 40 L top case?

Yes, forty liters are enough for an integrated helmet plus the day’s essentials. The interior is flock-lined for precisely this reason: the shell and visor rest on soft fabric instead of bare aluminum. The lid also has document pockets and a sensor light that turns on when opened.
