Description Top case plate for Husqvarna Norden 901 from 2023 | fixed or sliding
It is the base on which the top case attaches to the Husqvarna Norden 901 from 2023 onward. The code for the fixed version is JP901W.
How to install it
The package contains four 7 mm spacers, four M8×45 bolts, four washers, and the key. The manual first calls for removing an original component from the tail section, then positioning the spacers and finally securing the plate. Everything is reversible, with no drilling required.
The tightening torque is 20 N·m: the bolts are M8, so the value is higher than the 12 N·m specified for many other plates in the range. First complete the adjustments, then tighten the bolts in sequence. The manual is available in eight languages, including Italian.
Which top cases can be fitted
The manual lists the PIKE TRACKER, TIBET, and CONQUEROR series for this plate. The top case is not included in any version, and LOBOO aluminum top cases can only be fitted to LOBOO plates and luggage racks.
The sliding version
Alongside the fixed version, a sliding version is available with a 120 mm adjustment track: the top case moves forward when you ride alone, to centralize the weight, and backward when carrying a passenger. It unlocks with a button and locks again automatically, without tools. LOBOO states a maximum load of 10 kg on asphalt and 8 kg on unpaved roads for this version.
One clarification is necessary for this version: LOBOO’s manual for the sliding model lists the KTM 790 Adventure, and the Norden 901 does not appear in it. The two motorcycles share the same platform, but until we have written confirmation from the manufacturer, we prefer to make this clear. If you are interested in the sliding version, contact us before ordering and we will verify it with the distributor.

The rear load has a limit
For the fixed version, LOBOO does not specify a load capacity of its own: the limit indicated by Husqvarna in the owner’s manual for the rear subframe applies, and includes the plate, top case, and contents. Recheck the fasteners after the first 100–200 km and make sure the top case does not obstruct the license plate or rear lights.
The plate material is not specified in any LOBOO source, including the manual.
