Description Kickstand Plate for Yamaha XMAX 300 from 2023 | aluminum base, 304 stainless steel cover, 135 g

The LOBOO CJC862 side stand plate widens the footprint of the Yamaha XMAX 300 from 2023 side stand: when parked, the scooter's weight is distributed over a much larger area instead of the few square centimeters of the stock foot.

Mixed construction, and not by chance

The base that rests on the ground is made of aluminum alloy to keep the weight down. The cover that clamps over the original foot is made of 304 stainless steel, where mechanical strength and rust resistance are needed. Both parts are CNC-machined, which LOBOO identifies as the reason for the precise finish and hole positioning. Declared total weight: 135 g.

The anti-slip grooves are machined into the sides and bottom of the base. They address something different from sinking: sideways sliding on wet concrete, gravel, or a painted garage floor.

Mounts over the original foot

The stock side stand foot does not need to be removed: it remains enclosed between the base and cover, which are tightened with three M5×12 screws. No drilling, no permanent modifications, and if you sell the scooter, you can return it to its original configuration in just a few minutes. LOBOO states that it developed the shape using the vehicle's original data.

What the manual states

  • Contents: base, cover, 3 M5×12 screws, Torx T25 key, single-dose threadlocker
  • Tightening torque: 5 N·m for all three screws
  • Do not fully tighten immediately: make all adjustments first, then perform the final tightening in sequence
  • Periodically check the fastening screws
  • Manual included in eight languages

The dimensions are not stated by the manufacturer: the manual only includes a reference ruler from 0 to 8 cm, with a warning that the measurements are taken by hand.

Be careful not to confuse this code with the CHG862, which is the crash bar for the same motorcycle. Find the rest for your XMAX among the accessories for Yamaha XMAX 300, and for other models, all the side stand plates.

Why choose it
  • Bottom Design: Non-Slip Texture
  • Park with Confidence: Increases the contact area between the side stand and the ground. No more searching for a flat rock or crushed can to place under your kickstand on soft surfaces.
  • Hot Asphalt Resistant: Essential for US summers. Prevents the kickstand from sinking into hot asphalt in parking lots, protecting fairings from expensive tipovers.
  • Premium Hybrid Construction: Features a T6061 aluminum alloy base for lightness and strength, and a 304 stainless steel top plate for secure, rust-free grip. Looks like an OEM part, not an acc
  • Non-Slip Grip: The bottom surface is machined with a non-slip concave-convex design. This grips the ground to prevent the kickstand from slipping on wet concrete or painted garage floors.
  • Easy to Install: Installs in minutes with the included hex key. Simply insert the original kickstand foot between the plates and tighten.
Who is it recommended for

How does it work, in detail?

The kickstand foot, extended

The kickstand foot, extended

The XMAX 300 is a scooter that can be parked anywhere, which is precisely why it often ends up on surfaces that aren't asphalt: gravel in a parking lot, hard-packed dirt by the roadside, or grass.

The CJC862 plate widens the side stand's foot and distributes the weight over a much larger area. You no longer need to look for a flat stone or a can to crush underneath the stand.

Aluminum base, 304 stainless steel cover

Aluminum base, 304 stainless steel cover

Mixed construction, and it is a deliberate choice: the base that rests on the ground is made of aluminum alloy to keep the weight down; the cover that clamps onto the original foot is made of 304 stainless steel, where mechanical strength and rust resistance are needed.

Both parts are CNC-machined, and LOBOO cites computer numerical control machining as the reason for the finish and the precise positioning of the holes. Stated total weight: 135 g.

It mounts on the original foot without drilling.

It mounts on the original foot without drilling.

The original kickstand foot does not need to be removed. The base goes underneath, the cover on top, and three M5×12 screws clamp them together around the stock foot.

No drilling and no permanent modifications: if you sell the scooter, you can restore it to its original condition in just a few minutes. LOBOO states that it developed the shape using the vehicle’s original data.

Non-slip grooves on the sides and bottom

Non-slip grooves on the sides and bottom

The grooves are formed on the sides and bottom of the base. They prevent lateral slipping: widening the support without providing grip would solve only half the problem.

On wet concrete, gravel, or a garage’s painted floor, they make the difference between a scooter that stays where you left it and one that slowly slides away.

How does it work in practice?

How does it work in practice?

The standard kickstand foot rests on just a few square centimeters. The plate enlarges that surface and distributes the scooter’s weight over a much larger area.

The manufacturer puts it plainly: once installed, it solves the problem of the foot sinking into mud and causing the parked vehicle to fall over on unpaved ground.

Before and after, on the same plot of land

Before and after, on the same plot of land

The two manufacturer photos show the same stand on the same loose ground: without the plate, the foot cuts into the ground and sinks; with the plate, it stays on the surface.

This is the use case the plate was designed for, and on a 180 kg scooter loaded with shopping under the seat, it matters more than you might think.

The figures stated by the manufacturer

The figures stated by the manufacturer

The LOBOO specification sheet states an aluminum-alloy base, a 304 stainless-steel cover, CNC machining, and a weight of 135 g.

The dimensions are not specified: the manual only shows a reference ruler from 0 to 8 cm. If you need the exact overall dimensions, contact us and we will verify them before ordering.

In the package: M5×12 screws, Torx key, and threadlocker

In the package: M5×12 screws, Torx key, and threadlocker

The box contains the base, the cover, three M5×12 screws, a T25 Torx key, and a single-dose packet of threadlocker. Nothing else is needed.

Torque specified in the manual: 5 N·m for all three screws. The manual recommends not fully tightening them immediately, adjusting the position first, and only then tightening them in sequence, and checking the screws periodically.

FAQs

For more information, please see our FAQ.

Is it compatible with my XMAX 300?

The LOBOO mounting manual lists only one motorcycle for this code: the Yamaha XMAX 300 from 2023 onward, with an open window.

As always, before purchasing, it is advisable to check the year and version of your vehicle. If you have any doubts, write to us.

Is it suitable for an XMAX 300 registered before 2023?

The manufacturer lists the XMAX 300 from 2023 onward, that is, the series with the redesigned stand. For earlier versions, LOBOO does not list this code, and we have no other documentation extending its compatibility.

If you have an older XMAX, write to us before ordering with the year and license plate number: we would rather verify it than give you a guess.

Do I need to remove the foot of the original kickstand?

No. The stock foot remains in place, enclosed between the base and the plate cover, which are tightened with three screws. LOBOO describes it as a non-destructive installation: no drilling and no permanent modifications to the scooter.

What’s in the package?

The manual lists five items: the support base, the top cover, three M5×12 screws, a T25 Torx key, and a single-use packet of threadlocker. The box also includes the assembly manual in eight languages.

What material is it made of?

It is a mixed construction: an aluminum alloy base and a 304 stainless steel top cover, both CNC-machined. This is what the manufacturer's specification sheet states.

LOBOO does not disclose the designation of the aluminum alloy, so we do not report it.

What tool is needed, and what torque should the screws be tightened to?

T25 Torx key, included in the package together with the three M5×12 screws and a single-dose packet of threadlocker. The torque specified in the manual is 5 N·m for all three screws.

The manual says not to tighten fully right away: first adjust the position, then tighten in sequence, and periodically recheck the screws.

How much does it weigh, and how big is it?

The manufacturer states 135 g. The dimensions are not provided: the manual only includes a reference ruler from 0 to 8 cm, and LOBOO warns that measurements are taken by hand.

If you need the exact dimensions, contact us and we will verify them before ordering.

Do anti-slip grooves really work?

They are needed for something other than sinking: lateral sliding. A wide but smooth plate distributes weight well, but it can slip on wet concrete, gravel, or a painted floor.

LOBOO cuts grooves into the sides and bottom of the base specifically to grip the supporting surface.

Does it also make sense in the city if I almost always park on asphalt?

The full benefit is seen on yielding surfaces: dirt, gravel, grass, and asphalt softened by the summer sun, which is the most common case in cities.

On compact asphalt and in the shade, the plate does not add much, apart from providing more stable support on uneven or sloping surfaces.

Is it an original LOBOO product?

Yes: we sell exclusively genuine, brand-new LOBOO products in the manufacturer’s original packaging, with the assembly manual included in eight languages.

How is shipping handled, and can I return it?

Tracked shipping throughout Italy, free for orders over 100 euros; in Europe, it is free for orders over 250 euros.

You have 14 days from receipt of the last item in your order to request a return, in accordance with the conditions in the returns and refunds policy. The product must be returned intact and in its original packaging.

Is the product covered by a warranty?

Yes: all LOBOO products sold on Endurrad are covered by the 24-month statutory consumer warranty. In the event of a lack of conformity, we will handle the claim with the manufacturer.
