The LOBOO CJC025 side-stand plate widens the foot of the BMW F 900 GS from 2024 onward and distributes the motorcycle’s weight over a much larger area. The original foot does not need to be removed: it remains enclosed between the base and the upper bracket, secured by three M5×10 screws with Torx heads.

Before ordering: check your side-stand code

The manufacturer states compatibility exclusively with the original side stand, code 1697904-02. The number is stamped on the side-stand arm, near the spring: check it before ordering. With a stand bearing a different code, the plate is not declared compatible.

Also make sure not to confuse it with other codes in the F range: the F 900 GS Comfort Edition requires the CJC031, while the F 900 GS Adventure requires the CJC033. These are three different parts.

Construction

Two-piece construction in CNC-machined aluminum alloy: a black base that rests on the ground and an upper bracket that clamps onto the original foot. The anti-slip grooves are machined into the sides and underside to prevent lateral sliding on sloping surfaces.

What the manual states

  • Package contents: base, bracket, 3 M5×10 screws, T25 Torx key, and threadlocker
  • Tightening torque: 5 N·m, the same value for all three screws
  • Do not fully tighten immediately: make adjustments first, then tighten in sequence
  • Periodically check the fastening screws

A note from the manufacturer about road use

LOBOO warns that on asphalt, if the motorcycle’s setup changes—additional load, luggage, or suspension settings—the plate may not sit fully flat against the ground, which can accelerate its wear. The manufacturer considers this normal and not detrimental to its function. We mention it because it is stated by the manufacturer, not to discourage purchase: the plate is designed for soft surfaces.

The manufacturer does not state the weight or dimensions and also warns that measurements are taken by hand.

Three F 900 GS, three different codes

This is the stand plate for the F 900 GS from 2024 onward, the standard version. For the F 900 GS Comfort Edition from 2025 onward, you need the CJC031; for the F 900 GS Adventure from 2025 onward, the CJC033.

They are not interchangeable: the stand foot has a different shape. This is the most likely purchasing mistake for this family of motorcycles.

Sinking depends on the pressure exerted on the ground, not the total weight. The original foot transfers the entire load over just a few square centimeters: on compacted soil, gravel, or wet grass, it sinks, and the motorcycle slowly lowers until it tips over.

The plate distributes the same load over a much larger area. It does not eliminate the risk: assessing the ground where you park remains your responsibility.

LOBOO states that the installation is non-destructive and designed around the vehicle’s original mounting points: the factory foot is not removed but enclosed between the base and the upper bracket, secured by three M5×10 screws.

No drilling, no welding. Returning to the original setup only requires three screws.

The grooves are machined into the sides and bottom. They prevent lateral slipping: on a sloping surface, a smooth plate can slide, and widening the support without providing grip would solve only half the problem.

A T25 Torx is needed, not an Allen key.

The supplied key is a Torx T25 because the screws have a star-shaped recess rather than a hexagonal one. It is the same choice as the CJC603 for CFMOTO models, while other codes in the range use a 3 mm Allen key.

The specified torque is 5 N·m for all three screws. The manufacturer asks you not to fully tighten them immediately and to check them periodically.

Serve se con la tua F 900 GS parcheggi abitualmente su:

  • Terra battuta, ghiaia o erba, tipiche delle soste in viaggio e delle strade bianche
  • Asfalto caldo d'estate, dove il bitume ammorbidito cede sotto il piede del cavalletto
  • Fondi in pendenza o irregolari, dove la moto tende a scendere lentamente

È particolarmente utile con borse cariche o con il passeggero, quando il peso in sosta è massimo.

È da valutare con attenzione se:

  • Il tuo cavalletto laterale non porta il codice 1697904-02: la compatibilità non è dichiarata
  • Hai una F 900 GS Comfort Edition o Adventure: servono rispettivamente CJC031 e CJC033
  • Usi la moto quasi solo su asfalto con carico variabile: il produttore segnala una possibile usura accelerata

How do I know if I have the right stand?

The code is stamped on the side-stand arm, near the spring mount, and can be read with the motorcycle stationary without removing anything. It should be 1697904-02: it is the only genuine stand for which LOBOO declares compatibility. If you read a different code or cannot read it, send us a photo and we will verify it.

I have an F 900 GS Adventure or Comfort Edition: is that still okay?

No, different codes are required. For the F 900 GS Adventure from 2025 onward, you need the CJC033, which also covers the F 850 GS and F 850 GS Adventure. For the F 900 GS Comfort Edition from 2025 onward, you need the CJC031, along with the F 750 GS and F 800 GS. This page is for the standard F 900 GS from 2024 onward.

Does the original kickstand foot need to be removed?

No. The LOBOO manual describes a non-destructive installation: the stock footpeg remains in place, enclosed between the base and the upper bracket and secured with three M5×10 screws. No drilling or permanent modification to the motorcycle is required.

What tools are needed, and what’s included in the package?

The package includes the base, bracket, three M5×10 screws, a T25 Torx key, and threadlocker. Note: the screws have Torx heads, not hexagonal ones, so an Allen key will not work. To achieve the specified torque of 5 N·m on all three screws, a torque wrench is required.
