Set completo a punto singolo: plastiche, staffe, morsetti e viteria.

Everything you need to know before ordering

Compatibility, included items, installation, and documents: below is every detail verified against the official Barkbusters documentation.

Description Barkbusters VPS-207 full handguards for motocross and enduro

The VPS-207 is the complete handguard from the VPS series in the motocross version: a single-point design, meaning it is attached only at the end of the handlebar and open toward the inside, with the VPS plastics already included.

Everything is included here. Unlike the VPS-203, which is the plastics set only, the VPS-207 includes the plastics, nylon brackets, aluminum clamps, and hardware: it mounts on a motorcycle that does not yet have any Barkbusters handguards.

Single-point: what it really means

This is the most important detail on the product page, and Barkbusters states it plainly: single-point products are not designed for impact protection. The VPS-207 protects your hands from roost, brush, wind, and debris, and its open end is the one required by motocross racing regulations. If you are looking for structural lever protection in a crash, the right choice is a specific two-point kit for your motorcycle.

Universal and adjustable mounting

You do not need a code for the make, model, and year: the aluminum clamp attaches to the handlebar wherever you prefer, and the high-strength nylon bracket attaches to the plastic in two different positions. The manufacturer states that it offers extensive adjustment in almost every direction. The brackets are marked L and R and must be installed on the corresponding side.

Declared compatibility

Application Compatibility
Motocross and enduro motorcycles Declared by the manufacturer
Mounting Universal, on the handlebar

Barkbusters states its compatibility for vehicles in their original factory configuration. On motorcycles with long levers, bulky controls, or handlebar accessories, something may need to be repositioned.

What you will find in the package

  • Two VPS plastics, right and left, made from high-impact-resistant plastic.
  • Two high-strength nylon brackets, marked L and R.
  • Two aluminum clamps with their corresponding U-bolts.
  • Right and left cover and retaining plates.
  • Complete hardware: screws, washers, self-locking nuts, and flanged bolts.

What is NOT included

  • Wind deflectors. For the VPS-207, these are the B-093 set, available in black or white, and must be purchased separately. This is the main difference compared with the VPS-203, where they are included.

Colors

Ten catalog colors, including the Black on Black version, with both the plastic and logo in black, and the high-visibility HiViz yellow.

Why buy it from Endurrad

Free shipping in Italy over €100 and in Europe over €250, returns within 14 days, and support in Italian before and after purchase. If you are unsure whether to choose single-point or two-point, write to us before ordering: it depends on how you use the motorcycle, not on the price.

Why choose it
  • Set completo.
Who is it recommended for

Assembly and documents

Procedura dichiarata da Barkbusters nelle istruzioni ufficiali INS-VPS-207.

How does it work, in detail?

  • The clamp attaches to the handlebar wherever you prefer, while the nylon bracket holds the plastic in one of two possible positions.
Single point: here's how it's made

Single point: here's how it's made

From the rear, everything is clear: the aluminum clamp grips the handlebar, a flat arm extends outward, and the nylon bracket bridges the gap to the back of the plastic. The load is transferred to that single point, while the end toward the center of the handlebar remains open. This is the configuration required in motocross racing, and it is also why the manufacturer does not claim it provides impact protection.

It adjusts where needed

The clamp attaches to the handlebar wherever you prefer, and the nylon bracket clips onto the plastic in two different positions. The brackets are marked L and R and should be mounted on the corresponding side. The manufacturer claims extensive adjustment in almost all directions, which is useful when levers or controls are bulky.

Ten colors, replaceable plastics

Ten colors, replaceable plastics

The plastics fitted on the VPS-207 are the same VPS components listed in the catalog: if one breaks, you can replace it yourself without having to repurchase clamps and brackets. Ten colors are available for the complete set, including Black on Black and high-visibility HiViz yellow.

The measurements, and what changes with the deflector

The measurements, and what changes with the deflector

The VPS plastic measures 250 mm in length by 105 mm in height. The drawing also shows the 135 mm dimension: this applies with the wind deflector installed, which is not included with the VPS-207. The deflector set is part number B-093 and is purchased separately.

FAQs

For more information, see our FAQ of frequently asked questions.

Is the VPS-207 a plastics kit or a complete handguard?

It is a complete handguard kit. Although the code resembles that of the VPS-203, which is a plastics-only set, the VPS-207 includes everything: VPS plastics, right- and left-hand nylon brackets, aluminum handlebar clamps, and hardware.

Does it protect the hands in a fall?

Barkbusters states that single-point products are not designed for impact protection. The VPS-207 shields against roost, brush, wind, and debris, but if you are looking for structural protection in a fall, the manufacturer recommends models with two mounting points.

What exactly is included in the package?

Two right and left VPS plastic panels, the two nylon brackets marked L and R, two aluminum clamps with their corresponding U-bolts, the cover and retaining plates, and all the hardware: screws, washers, self-locking nuts, and flanged bolts.

Are the wind deflectors included?

No, and that is the difference compared with the VPS-203. On the VPS-207, the adjustable deflector set is code B-093, available in black or white, and is purchased separately.

Will it fit my motorcycle? Do you need the kit code?

No. The VPS-207 is declared to have universal mounting: the specific make, model, and year code required for BHG and BLG kits is not necessary. The manufacturer indicates it for motocross and enduro motorcycles.

What is the difference between VPS-207 and VPS-203?

They are two different things. The VPS-203 is just the set of plastic guards with deflectors, to be mounted on an existing Barkbusters structure. The VPS-207 is a complete single-point mounting handguard for motocross, with clamps and brackets included and deflectors excluded.

Can I adjust the position of the handguard?

Yes. The nylon bracket attaches to the plastic in two different positions, and the clamp mounts on the handlebar wherever you prefer: the manufacturer states that it offers a wide range of adjustment in almost every direction. The brackets are marked L and R and must be mounted on the corresponding side.

What does the Black on Black variant mean?

It is the all-black version: black VPS plastic with a black Barkbusters logo instead of a contrasting one.

Can I mount it on an adventure or road motorcycle?

Barkbusters specifies the VPS-207 for motocross and enduro. On a motorcycle with long levers, bulky controls, or handlebar-mounted accessories, something may need to be repositioned, and the single mounting point remains a limitation for impact protection. For adventure and street bikes, the right choice is a motorcycle-specific two-point mounting kit.

What are the tightening torques?

5 Nm for M5 screws and 10 Nm for M6 screws, as specified by the manufacturer. Be careful not to overtighten the two screws securing the nylon bracket to the back of the plastic: this is an explicit warning in the instructions.

Do I need to recheck the tightening after installation?

Yes. Barkbusters asks you to check the tightness of all screws again after the first 50 km and recommends using a medium-strength threadlocker on all fasteners.

If I break one plastic piece, do I have to buy the whole thing again?

No. VPS plastic parts replace themselves: they are the same type fitted to the VPS-203, available in the catalog in eleven colors.
