Description LOBOO aluminum handguard system for Triumph Scrambler 1200XE (2024+)

Handguards with a high-strength aluminum alloy body for the Triumph Scrambler 1200XE from 2024 onward. They replace the motorcycle’s original handguards: the CHS931 bracket attaches to the same two mounting points, the handlebar end and the collar near the controls. The wind deflector can be adjusted to three positions or removed completely, without tools.

Why choose this LOBOO product

  • High-strength aluminum alloy body: a rigid cage around the hands and brake and clutch levers. Original levers cost much more than a handguard.
  • They replace the original handguards: they are not added to the Scrambler 1200XE’s standard handguards; they take their place using the same mounting points.
  • Three-position wind deflector: high on the highway and in winter, low in the shoulder seasons, or removed off-road when airflow and visibility are needed. It adjusts by hand.
  • Two-point mounting: handlebar end and collar. The handguard remains secure at high speeds and in crosswinds.
  • Side impact bumpers: replaceable cushioning inserts that absorb impacts and can be replaced yourself when scratched.

What the complete set includes

LOBOO lists three components as necessary for a complete handguard:

  • 1 pair of CHS931 aluminum brackets, black, specific to the Scrambler 1200XE
  • 1 pair of CHP001 shields in the selected color, with wind deflector
  • 1 CFCK001 arch kit, with clamps, non-slip blocks, and impact bumpers

On this page you will find the complete set and the brackets alone. The shield and arch kit have a dedicated page, because they are shared across the entire LOBOO handguard range: you will find them among the recommended products below, useful as replacements or for changing the shield color. The accessories shown in the manufacturer’s photos—auxiliary lights, engine guard, and luggage rack—are not included in the set: LOBOO states that these images are for illustrative purposes only.

Motorcycle compatibility

Brand Model Years Notes
Triumph Scrambler 1200XE from 2024 onward The original handguards must be removed

Compatibility applies to the CHS931 bracket. The CHP001 shield and CFCK001 arch kit are shared components across the entire LOBOO handguard range. Before purchasing, we recommend checking the motorcycle’s brand, model, year, version, and any accessories already installed.

Why choose it
  • High-strength aluminum alloy body:a cage around the controls. Original levers cost much more than a handguard.
  • Replaces the originals:the bracket replaces the stock handguards of the Scrambler 1200XE, using the same anchoring points.
  • Three-position deflector:high for highway and winter, low for mid-season, removed for off-road. No tools required.
  • Two-point fastening:no wobbling at high speeds, unlike single attachments.
  • Modular system:after contact, the scratched part is replaced, not the entire handguard. And you can switch from a black to a white shield while keeping the bracket.
Who is it recommended for

Compatible Models

  • Triumph Scrambler 1200XE (2024-)

Compatibility refers to the CHS931 bracket. The shield and pads on this page are the same as those for the entire LOBOO handguard range and are also suitable for other brackets.

This is the right choice if:

  • You want to replace the original Scrambler handguards with a double-mount aluminum structure
  • You use your motorcycle all year round and want to change the level of protection with the season
  • You alternate between asphalt and dirt roads, where levers are exposed to rocks, branches, and low-speed falls
  • You want to be able to replace individual components instead of the entire handguard
Documents and manufacturer

Assembly

  • Remove the original handguards of the Scrambler 1200XE: the CHS931 replaces them, without drilling.
  • Mount the bracket on the two fixing points, handlebar end and clamp, without tightening fully.
  • Screw the shield onto the bracket and mount the bumper pads on the sides.
  • Adjusting or removing the deflector does not require tools.
  • Once assembled, test the steering to full lock on both sides and check that cables and controls remain free.
  • Recheck the tightenings after the first 100-200 km. The manufacturer does not publish the prescribed torques for this model.

Use and maintenance

  • Clean with water and mild soap. Avoid solvents on the transparent deflector.
  • After an impact or fall, check brackets, clamps, and pads before getting back on the road.
  • Handguards reduce the exposure of hands and levers, but do not replace gloves and protective clothing.

Aluminum alloy handguards for Triumph Scrambler 1200XE

The handguard body is made of high-strength aluminum alloy. On the Scrambler 1200XE, it replaces the original handguards and encloses the levers and controls within a rigid structure, with a wind deflector that can be raised, lowered, or removed depending on the season.

Lightweight, but protects hands and levers

Lightweight, but protects hands and levers

LOBOO states that the high-strength aluminum alloy body reduces weight while protecting the brake and clutch levers. The weight in grams has not been published: if you need the exact figure, contact us and we’ll ask the manufacturer.

They replace the original Triumph handguards

They replace the original Triumph handguards

This is the key point to keep in mind before ordering: the CHS931 does not attach to the standard handguards on the Scrambler 1200XE; it replaces them. The original handguards must be removed, and the LOBOO bracket is mounted at the same points, at the handlebar end and on the collar.

Two-point mounting and bumper pads

Two-point mounting and bumper pads

Two mounting points instead of one: the handlebar end and the clamp near the controls. This is what keeps the handguard secure at high speeds and in crosswinds. The sides feature impact bumpers, shock-absorbing inserts that cushion contact and can be replaced individually when they become scratched.

Three-position wind deflector

Three-position wind deflector

The transparent extension at the top of the shield can be adjusted in height: use the high position in cold weather or when riding on the highway, the low position in mild weather, and remove it off-road when airflow and visibility are needed.

Adjusts without tools

Adjusts without tools

Height adjustment and deflector removal are done by hand, without tools. It takes five minutes with the motorcycle stationary—not a workshop job.

Replace the part, not the handguard.

Replace the part, not the handguard.

The shield, deflector, bar-end clamp, bracket, and bumpers are separate parts. After contact, order only the marked part: this is also why this page offers the three components individually, rather than only as a complete set.

Dimensions: 288.7 × 126.3 × 193 mm

Dimensions: 288.7 × 126.3 × 193 mm

Measurements for each handguard, taken manually by the manufacturer: 288.7 mm long, 126.3 mm deep, and 193 mm high. The stated material is aluminum alloy; Black and White refer to the shield, while the bracket is always black.

View from the saddle and side view: the handguard follows the handlebar line without extending beyond the grips. Once installation is complete, it is still advisable to test the steering at full lock on both sides.

FAQs

For more information, please see our FAQ.

What do I need to buy to get a complete handguard?

Three components are required, as indicated by the manufacturer: a pair of CHS931 brackets specifically for the Scrambler 1200XE, a pair of CHP001 shields in your preferred color, and a CFCK001 protective bumper kit. The Complete set variant already contains all three; the other variants on this page are individual pieces, useful as replacements.

Do I need to remove the original handguards from the Scrambler 1200XE?

Yes. LOBOO's technical panel states this explicitly: the CHS931 replaces the stock handguards; it is not installed alongside them. They must be removed before mounting the bracket.

Which motorcycles do they fit?

The CHS931 bracket is specifically designed for the Triumph Scrambler 1200XE from 2024 onward. The CHP001 shield and CFCK001 bumpers, on the other hand, are common components across the entire LOBOO handguard range and can also be fitted to other brackets.

What size are they?

288.7 × 126.3 × 193 mm per individual handguard. These dimensions were measured manually by the manufacturer, so they should be considered accurate only to within a millimeter.

How does the adjustable deflector work?

The transparent extension above the shield has three configurations: high, low, or removed. It can be changed by hand, without tools: high in winter and on the motorway, low in the mid-seasons, and removed off-road when airflow and visibility are needed.

Do you need to drill into or modify the motorcycle?

No. LOBOO specifies a drilling-free installation: the bracket is secured at two points, at the end of the handlebar and on the collar near the controls, where the original handguards are anchored and removed. For this model, the manufacturer does not publish an installation manual. If you want confirmation for your specific vehicle, contact us before ordering.

Why two-point mounting?

A single mount leaves the handguard free to move in the wind and under load. With two anchor points—the bar end and clamp—the structure stays firmly in place, which is also why it withstands side impacts better.

Do they provide protection in the event of a fall?

They are designed to protect hands and brake and clutch levers from wind, debris, and accidental contact, while the impact pads absorb shocks in the event of a low-speed fall. They are not an approved safety device and do not replace gloves and protective clothing.

Is assembly within everyone’s reach?

It is a simple mechanical job, but it requires removing the original handguards and working near levers and controls. For this model, LOBOO does not publish torque specifications: tighten carefully, recheck after the first 100–200 km, and make sure the cables and controls remain unobstructed.

Can I change the shield color later?

Yes. The shield and bracket are separate pieces: you can later order only the pair of CHP001 shields in the other color and keep the bracket already installed. The bracket is always black.

Do they interfere with mirrors and controls?

In the manufacturer's images, the handguard stays within the handlebar line without extending beyond the grips. After installation, still test the steering at full lock on both sides and check that the mirrors, cables, and controls do not touch anything.

Are the accessories shown in the photos included?

No. LOBOO identifies its images as for illustrative purposes only: the additional spotlights, engine guard, and luggage rack shown in the installation photos are not included in this set.

How do you clean them?

Water and mild soap. Avoid solvents on the clear deflector, as they can cloud it. After an impact, check the brackets, clamps, and bump stops before getting back on the road.
