Aluminum handguards for CFMOTO 450MT, 700MT, and 800MT

Three components are required, as specified by the manufacturer: a pair of CHS603 brackets in your preferred finish, a pair of CHP001 shields in your preferred color, and a CFCK001 bumper pad kit. The Complete set variant already includes all three, along with the hardware and Allen key.

The CHS603 bracket fits the CFMOTO 450MT and 700MT from 2024, the 800MT from 2021, and the 800MT-X from 2024. Outside Europe, the 450MT and 800MT are called the Ibex 450 and Ibex 800: they are the same motorcycles. The CHP001 shield and CFCK001 bumpers, on the other hand, are components shared across the entire LOBOO handguard range.

Only the finish differs. CHS603BK is black, CHS603SL is silver: same mounting, same dimensions, same compatibility. We keep the black one in stock; the silver one is ordered on request, and we'll confirm the lead time before proceeding.

306.2 × 126.3 × 200.3 mm per individual handguard. These dimensions were measured manually by the manufacturer, so they should be considered accurate only to within a millimeter. LOBOO notes that measurements vary from one handguard model to another; these apply to the CHS603.

The transparent extension above the shield has three configurations: high, low, or removed. It can be changed by hand without tools: high in winter and on the highway, low in the transitional seasons, and removed off-road when airflow and visibility are needed.

A single attachment leaves the handguard free to rotate when it takes a hit. With the second anchor point on the handlebar tube, the structure stays in position: this is exactly the function the manufacturer attributes to the dual mounting point.

They are designed to protect hands and brake and clutch levers from wind, debris, and accidental contact, while the impact pads absorb shocks in the event of a low-speed fall. They are not an approved safety device and do not replace gloves and protective clothing.

It is a simple mechanical job, and the kit is self-contained: the hardware and Allen key are included in the package, and the manual describes eight identical steps on both sides of the motorcycle.

The specified torque values are 20 N·m for the M8 screws and 8 N·m for the four M6 screws on the shield. You are still working near levers and controls: check the fasteners again after the first 100–200 km and make sure the cables and controls remain unobstructed.

Because there is one kit for four motorcycles, it contains the hardware for both configurations. The manual specifies M8 × 75 bolts for the 800MT and 800MT-X, and M8 × 70 bolts together with spacers for the 450MT and 700MT.

Whichever motorcycle you have, some parts will therefore be left over at the end: this is intentional and does not mean that the kit is incomplete or incorrect. Check the manual to see which parts are right for your model before starting.

Yes. On the CFMOTO MT range, the CHS603 replaces the standard handguards rather than being added to them: they must be removed before installing the bracket. Keep this in mind if you plan to resell the motorcycle with the original accessories.

Yes. The shield and bracket are separate pieces: you can later order just the pair of CHP001 shields in the other color and keep the bracket already installed.

In the manufacturer’s images, the handguard stays within the handlebar line, but the manual warns about one specific point: the handlebar angle on your motorcycle may no longer be the factory setting.

For this reason, the manufacturer asks you to slowly turn the handlebars to full lock on both sides and check that the handguards do not touch the fairing, dashboard, or windshield. If there is contact, the handlebar angle or the handguard angle must be adjusted.

No. LOBOO specifies that its images are for illustrative purposes only: the panniers, crash bars, and auxiliary lights shown in the installation photos are not included in this set.

Water and mild soap. Avoid solvents on the clear deflector, as they can cloud it. After an impact, check the brackets, clamps, and bump stops before getting back on the road.
