Handguards with a high-strength aluminum alloy body for the CFMOTO adventure range: 450MT, 700MT, 800MT and 800MT-X. They replace the motorcycle’s original handguards: the CHS603 bracket takes their place, with two-point mounting, a three-position tool-free adjustable wind deflector, and replaceable side impact bumpers.

Why choose this LOBOO product

  • High-strength aluminum alloy body: a rigid cage around your hands and brake and clutch levers. Original levers cost much more than a handguard.
  • They replace the original handguards: they are not added to the standard handguards on your CFMOTO; they take their place. The originals must be removed.
  • Black or silver bracket: the CHS603 is available in two finishes, black CHS603BK and silver CHS603SL, with the same mounting system and compatibility.
  • Three-position wind deflector: high for highway riding and winter, low in the shoulder seasons, or removed off-road when airflow and visibility are needed. It is adjusted by hand.
  • Two-point mounting: handlebar end and handlebar tube. The manufacturer states that the second mounting point prevents the handguard from rotating in the event of an impact.
  • Side impact bumpers: replaceable shock-absorbing inserts that absorb contact and can be replaced yourself when scratched.

Installation, as described in the manual

The kit comes with all the hardware and an Allen key: M8 and M6 screws, two clamping plates, and spacers. The manual describes eight steps, identical on both sides of the motorcycle.

One detail that must not be overlooked: the hardware varies depending on the model. The 800MT and 800MT-X use M8 × 75 screws, while the 450MT and 700MT use M8 × 70 screws together with the spacers. They are all included in the same package, so some parts will be left over after installation: this is normal and does not mean the kit is incorrect.

The specified tightening torques are 20 N·m for the M8 screws and 8 N·m for the four M6 × 12 screws that secure the shield. The manufacturer asks you not to fully tighten everything immediately, but to complete all adjustments first and then tighten in sequence.

The manual also warns that the handlebar angle may differ from the factory setting: once installation is complete, slowly turn the handlebars to full lock on both sides, checking that the handguards do not touch the fairing, dashboard, or windscreen.

LOBOO identifies three components as necessary for a complete handguard:

  • 1 pair of CHS603 aluminum brackets, black or silver, specifically for the CFMOTO MT range
  • 1 pair of CHP001 shields in the selected color, with wind deflector

Istruzioni complete e note di sicurezza

Si rimuovono i paramani originali della moto: il CHS603 ne prende il posto. La staffa si fissa poi in due punti, l'estremità del manubrio e il tubo del manubrio. Assembly

  • Remove the original handguards from the motorcycle: the CHS603 replaces them.
  • Mount the bracket to the two attachment points, handlebar end and handlebar tube, without fully tightening.
  • Screw the shield onto the bracket and mount the bumper pads on the sides.
  • Adjusting or removing the deflector does not require tools.
  • Once assembled, test the steering to full lock on both sides and check that cables and controls remain free.
  • Recheck the tightening after the first 100-200 km. The manufacturer does not publish the prescribed torques for this model.

Use and maintenance

  • Clean with water and mild soap. Avoid solvents on the transparent deflector.
  • After an impact or fall, check brackets, clamps and pads before getting back on the road.
  • Handguards reduce the exposure of hands and levers, but do not replace gloves and protective clothing.
  • Keep the disassembled original handguards if you plan to resell the motorcycle with standard accessories.

What do I need to buy to get a complete handguard?
