The high-strength aluminum alloy body keeps weight down without sacrificing protection: the handguard acts as a barrier between the brake and clutch levers and whatever comes from outside, whether it is a branch, a stone, or the asphalt in a minor slide.

LOBOO states that weight reduction is a material characteristic but does not publish the figure.

The handguard attaches at two points: at the end of the handlebar and to the clamp. The structure forms a triangle and stops rotating or vibrating, which is the typical flaw of single-mount handguards.

There are shock-absorbing pads on the sides, one on each side: they absorb accidental impacts, such as those that come from the side when parking or riding along a narrow trail.

The transparent extension above the shield adjusts to two heights and can also be removed entirely. Use the high position in winter and on the highway, when you want maximum protection; the low position when you need less; remove it in summer or off-road, for a cleaner profile.

The deflector attachment has a quick-release mechanism: adjust the height or remove the extension without keys or screwdrivers.

It’s the difference between an adjustment you actually make when the weather changes and one you put off because it would require dismantling half the handlebar.

Shield, deflector, clamps, bracket, and end plugs are separate components. After contact or a fall, you only replace the damaged part instead of throwing away an entire handguard because the shield got scratched.

It’s also a way to switch from the black shield to the white one while keeping the same bracket.

LOBOO indicates three necessary components: the specific motorcycle bracket, the shield with deflector, and the bumper pads. This page’s Complete Set contains all three.

The other variants are the individual pieces: they’re useful if you need to replace a damaged component or if you want to change only the shield color.

Each handguard measures 306.2 mm in length, with a shield height of 126.3 mm and a lateral span of 200.3 mm. Model CHS222, aluminum alloy body.

The manufacturer lists the bracket in black and silver; we only have the black one available. The dimensions were measured manually, and the weight is not specified.

The profile follows the line of the handlebar without looking like an added-on piece. The shield covers the hand past the knuckles, which is where cold wind does the most damage on long rides.

The manufacturer's photos also show LOBOO mirrors, auxiliary lights, and crash bars; these are not included in this package.
