Description Motorcycle mirror adapter kit — nine mounting codes

LOBOO RM01, RM02, RM03, and RM03-Lite mirrors come without mounting hardware. This kit is the part that secures them to the motorcycle: without it, they remain in the box. It costs €4.50 and is available in nine codes, one for each mounting type.

What differs between the codes

It is not just a matter of brand. The bolt length varies from 20 to 35 mm; the thread pitch is either 1.5 or 1.25; the thread direction differs because several motorcycles use a left-hand-threaded bolt on the left side; and some kits include aluminum spacers to compensate for the thickness of the handguards. The exact contents of each code are listed in the technical data sheet.

How to choose yours

Use the selector on the mirror product pages, or the full list in the «Who is it recommended for» section below. Pay attention to three cases where the model alone is not enough: on the Suzuki V-Strom 800 and 1050, code 321 applies only to motorcycles without handguards; on the CFMOTO 800MT, the bolt in kit 601 has a different length depending on the handguards; on the Benelli TRK, kit 683 assumes the original handguard is fitted.

Installation: three checks

The LOBOO manual asks you to remove the original mirror bolt and compare it with the kit bolts, checking the diameter, thread pitch, and thread direction. Then try to screw it in by hand for at least five turns: if you feel resistance, stop, because the thread does not match. Tighten to 20 N·m, and check it periodically over time.

If your motorcycle is not listed, send us the make, model, and year. LOBOO also makes a universal kit with all thread-pitch and thread-direction combinations, which can be installed if there are at least 10 mm between the edge of the mirror-mounting hole and the brake-fluid reservoir: it is not yet in the catalog, but we can source it.

Code 081 covers the most motorcycles of all: from the 2012 F 700 GS through the 2025 R 1300 GS Adventure and F 900 GS, including the R 1200 and R 1250 GS, F 800, F 850, F 900 R and XR, and S 1000 XR. It contains two right-hand M10×20 screws with a 1.5 pitch, two washers, and the Allen key.

Code 101 is the opposite: it is for just one motorcycle, the Yamaha Tracer 900 GT, and comes with one right-hand and one left-hand screw with oversized 3 mm washers.

The kit for KTM and European adventure bikes

The 251 covers almost the entire KTM range—390 Duke and Adventure, 790 and 890 in Adventure and Duke versions—along with the Norden 901, Ducati DesertX and Multistrada 1260, Pan America 1250 Special, Voge 650 DS and SR4 Max, and Yamaha Ténéré 700. The BMW C 400 X and C 400 GT scooters are also included.

It contains one right-hand and one left-hand M10×20 bolt with a 1.25 pitch, two washers, and the Allen key: this is the typical case of a motorcycle with a reverse thread on the left side.

The most widely used kit among Japanese women

The 321 is the longest list: almost the entire Honda range, from the X-ADV to the Africa Twin, Transalp, and NX models; Suzuki V-Stroms; Kawasaki Versys and Z 400; Yamaha XMAX 300; the Voge range; Kove, Triumph Scrambler 900, Cyclone, and SYM.

Pay particular attention to one line: for the Suzuki V-Strom 800 and 1050, it applies only to motorcycles WITHOUT handguards. Inside are two M10×20 right-hand-thread screws with a 1.25 pitch, two washers, and the Allen key.

601 and 683 are the only two that include aluminum bushings, because they are needed to make up for the thickness of the handguards. 601 fits the CFMOTO 450MT, 700MT, 800MT, 800MT-X, and 1000MT-X, the Honda CB 400 X, and the KTM 1290 Super Adventure R and S: the bolts are M10×30 if the motorcycle has handguards, and M10×20 if it does not.

683 is for the Benelli TRK 552 X and TRK 702 X with original handguards, with 35 mm bolts and taller bushings. 441, on the other hand, is intended solely for the Aprilia Tuareg 660, with M10×25 bolts.

The last two codes are dedicated: 871 to the BMW CE 04, and 911 to the Triumph Tiger 900 GT and Rally Pro, which use two left-hand-threaded bolts.

For models not on the list, LOBOO produces a universal kit with all four combinations of thread pitch and direction. It can be installed if there are at least 10 mm between the edge of the mirror hole and the brake fluid reservoir. It is not yet in the Endurrad catalog: write to us and we will source it for you.

LOBOO mirrors are universal, but the handlebar or fairing mount varies from motorcycle to motorcycle. The adapter kit bridges that gap: it costs just a few euros and is essential for fitting them correctly.

Nine codes are available, covering BMW, KTM, Honda, Ducati, Husqvarna, Aprilia, Triumph, CFMOTO, Benelli, Voge, Kove, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, and QJMotor. Check the correct code for your motorcycle before ordering.

What is this kit used for?

This is the hardware that attaches LOBOO rearview mirrors to the motorcycle. The RM01, RM02, RM03, and RM03-Lite mirrors come without it: without this kit, they cannot be mounted on any motorcycle. The only exception is the version designed for BMW motorcycles with the LCW system, which already comes complete.

How do I know which of the nine codes I need?

On the mirror product pages, there is a selector: choose the make and model, and it will show you the correct code. Alternatively, you can find the complete list, covering around one hundred models, in the “Who is it recommended for?” section below. If your motorcycle is not listed, contact us with its make, model, and year before ordering.

What really changes from one code to another?

Four things: the screw length, which ranges from 20 to 35 mm; the pitch, either 1.5 or 1.25; the thread direction, because several motorcycles use a left-hand-threaded screw on the left side; and the presence of aluminum bushings, which compensate for the thickness of the handguards and are included only with codes 601 and 683. The exact contents of each code are listed in the technical data sheet.

I have handguards—does that make a difference?

Yes, and this is where mistakes happen most often. On the Suzuki V-Strom 800 and 1050, code 321 applies only to motorcycles WITHOUT handguards. On the CFMOTO 800MT, kit 601 includes 30 mm screws if handguards are fitted and 20 mm screws if they are not. On the Benelli TRK, kit 683 assumes the original handguard is fitted. If in doubt, write to us before ordering.

Can I use a code other than the one indicated?

No, they are not interchangeable. A screw with the wrong thread pitch or direction may seem to fit at first, then damage the threads in the mirror block or base, which are motorcycle parts. The manufacturer recommends trying to screw it in by hand for at least five turns; if you feel resistance, stop.

Do any special tools need to be used to install it?

No: each kit includes an 8 mm Allen key. A torque wrench is only needed if you want to follow the manufacturer's specified torque exactly, which is 20 N·m for all screws. The manual instructs you not to fully tighten everything immediately: make all the mirror adjustments first, then tighten everything definitively.

Does the kit also include the mirrors?

No, it is only the mounting hardware. LOBOO mirrors are sold separately: RM01 with a round lens, RM02 with the largest lens in the range, RM03 the most compact, and RM03-Lite the lightest. On each of those product pages, you will find the selector that adds the correct kit to your order.

My motorcycle isn’t listed: what can I do?

Tell us the make, model, and year, and we'll check. LOBOO also produces a universal kit that includes all combinations of thread pitch and direction and can be installed if there are at least 10 mm between the edge of the mirror hole and the brake fluid reservoir. It is not yet in the Endurrad catalog, but we can source it on request.

Is it also suitable for mirrors from other brands?

It is designed and specified for LOBOO mirrors. The hardware is M10, which is the most common size on motorcycles, so in theory it may also work elsewhere; however, the manufacturer does not state this, and we cannot guarantee it. If you have a mirror from another brand, compare the original screw with those listed before ordering.

Is the product covered by a warranty?

Yes, the 24-month legal conformity warranty applies, as it does to every product we sell. Since these are fasteners, damage caused by overtightening or by installation on a mismatched thread is excluded. That is why we insist on checking by hand that the screw turns five full rotations before applying force.
