In breve

The kit includes two 1080p motorcycle cameras with Sony IMX307 Starvis sensors, one for the front and one for the rear, and enables recording on the JADO S6 display.

Connected to the JADO S6, they record in 1080P at 30 fps, in 1 / 3 / 5-minute loops, with color night vision and video lock in the event of an impact. The camera also supports the display's blind spot detection (BSD) radar, which issues an on-screen warning when a vehicle enters the blind spot.

The body is made of zinc alloy with IP69K waterproofing, and the lens is wide-angle and vibration-resistant. The cameras do not work on their own: they require the JADO S6 display.

  1. Positioning:Choose whether to install it front (under the headlight/fairing) or rear (above the license plate). Clean the surface thoroughly.
  2. Fixing:Use the included high-strength 3M VHB double-sided tape or screws to secure the camera bracket.
  3. Connection:Run the cable along the motorcycle frame to the JADO central unit (DVR). Connect the connector, making sure the pins are aligned correctly.
  4. Adjustment:Turn on the JADO display to preview. Rotate the camera in the mount to align the horizon and tighten the side screws to lock it in place.

Does this camera work alone?

No, this is a passive optical drive. It must be connected to a JADO DVR head unit (such as the S6 or S1) to function, record, and receive power.

What does "Sony IMX307 Starvis" sensor mean?

Starvis is a pixel backlight technology developed by Sony for CMOS sensors. It allows the camera to "see" much better in the dark than standard cameras, making nighttime footage clear and usable for evidentiary purposes.

Is it compatible as a rear camera?

Yes, JADO system cameras are usually interchangeable. You can mount them either front or rear. The DVR unit will manage the image (possibly mirroring it if set).

Is it pressure washable?

The camera is IP68 certified (waterproof), so it's perfectly resistant to rain and splashes. However, it's always advisable not to point a high-pressure washer directly at the lens or seals from close range.

Is the quality true 1080p?

Absolutely. The IMX307 sensor is native Full HD (1920x1080 pixels). It's not an interpolated (digitally upscaled) 720p, but it offers true resolution for sharp details.
