The B6 brake light pod sold individually, without a bracket: 870 lumens in a 112 × 28 × 11 mm housing that is unnoticeable once installed until it lights up.

Dual circuit — running light at 50%, brake light at 100% — six LEDs, 180-degree viewing angle, 0.5 A draw, IP67 rating. The package includes a wiring pigtail and three Posi-Tap connectors.

Choose it if you already have the mounting system or want to select one separately: fender brackets, an offset bracket, flush-mount plates, and license plate brackets are available.

This is just the pod, without a mount. It makes sense if you already have the mounting system, or if you want to choose one based on the tail section: there are fender brackets, the cantilever mount, flush-mount plates, and license plate mounts, all listed separately in the catalog.

The pod has an integrated dual circuit: the red wire operates at 50% as a running light, while the orange wire switches to 100% as a brake light. The box includes the sealed micro connector and Posi-Taps, so it can be connected to any brake-light system without soldering.

Montaggio e requisiti

Come si monta

Istruzioni complete e note di sicurezza

Contenuto della confezione. Il pod luce freno B6 e il cablaggio pigtail. Serve un tester o multimetro: DENALI lo indica come attrezzo necessario, non come consiglio.

Identificare i tre fili. Si porta il cavo del pod nella parte posteriore della moto, fino al fanale originale. Dal corpo del fanale escono di norma tre soli fili, e vanno riconosciuti uno per uno con il tester: luce di posizione, luce di stop e massa.

Collegamento. Con i connettori Posi-Tap: rosso sul filo della luce di posizione, arancione sul filo dello stop, nero sulla massa. Poi si innesta il pigtail nel connettore del pod.

Se hai una centralina CANsmart, non fare così. Il manuale è esplicito: con il CANsmart la luce freno non si collega ai fili originali ma al circuito giallo dedicato della centralina, seguendo il manuale del controller. Così il B6 diventa una luce freno intelligente, con posizione, sequenze di lampeggio e attivazione in decelerazione.

Prima di richiudere. Frenafiletti a media resistenza su viti e dadi e controllo del serraggio dopo i primi 50 km. Verifica che il cavo abbia gioco comprimendo le sospensioni, e che non resti in tensione con il codone rimontato.

How do you connect it?

The pod has three wires: ground, running light, and brake light. It connects to the motorcycle’s brake-light circuit using the included Posi-Tap connectors, or directly to a CANsmart control unit with the pre-installed waterproof connector. For many motorcycles, a specific wiring harness is also available, eliminating the need for any splicing.

What changes when connecting it to a CANsmart controller?

Two functions are unlocked that aren't available with the direct connection: programmable brake flashing, which makes braking much more noticeable to those behind you, and automatic activation of the brake light during deceleration, even when you slow down using engine braking without touching the brakes.
