Description Loboo Windshield for BMW R 1300 GS and Adventure

The LOBOO CFD131 Windshield for BMW R 1300 GS and R 1300 GS Adventure is taller and wider than the original, with a revised aerodynamic profile that reduces turbulence and noise. The benefit is felt especially around the torso and helmet in the higher settings and during long highway rides.

It is made of high-strength polycarbonate and molded 1:1 from the original data: it mounts to the OEM mounting points, with no modifications to the motorcycle.

Three colors, three different uses

  • Clear — unchanged visibility, the safest choice if you ride at night or in low-light conditions
  • Smoked — reduces glare, with a moderately distinctive appearance
  • Dark — the most distinctive option, but it reduces visibility through the panel

Compatible with the R 1300 GS from 2023 and the R 1300 GS Adventure from 2024. The perception of noise still depends on rider height, riding position, and helmet.

Why choose it
  • Greater coverage:taller and wider than the original, it better protects the torso and helmet.
  • Revised aerodynamic profile:reduces turbulence and noise, especially at high settings.
  • High-strength polycarbonate:resists impacts better than an acrylic panel.
  • Seamless installation:modeled 1:1 on original data, mounts on OEM points without modifications.
  • Three colors:Clear, Smoke, and Dark.
Who is it recommended for

How to choose the tint:

  • Clear: unaltered view, the safest choice if you often drive at night or in low light.
  • Smoked: reduces glare, intermediate aesthetic impact.
  • Dark: the most distinctive, but reduces visibility through the panel.

The aerodynamic benefit is felt especially on long motorway journeys. Noise perception still depends on height, riding position, and helmet.

Documents and manufacturer

Installation and maintenance

  • Installation on OEM points, without modifications to the motorcycle, with 1:1 fitment to original data.
  • Compatible with BMW R 1300 GS from 2023 and R 1300 GS Adventure from 2024.
  • Clean with water and neutral detergent and a soft cloth: solvents and rough cloths will dull the polycarbonate.
  • A dark panel reduces visibility through the windscreen: evaluate this based on night use.

How does it work, in detail?

Taller, wider, cleaner air

Taller, wider, cleaner air

The CFD131 increases height and width compared with the original and revises the aerodynamic profile: less turbulence around the helmet and torso, especially when the windscreen is in its higher settings. It is the improvement you notice most on long motorway journeys.

High-strength polycarbonate and 1:1 modeling based on the original data: mounts to the OEM points without modifications to the motorcycle. Available in Clear, Smoked, and Dark.

Taller and wider than the original

Taller and wider than the original

The two measurements work together: the height directs the airflow over the helmet, while the width protects the shoulders and arms where the original windshield leaves them exposed.

It is the difference you feel on long motorway rides, where wind pressure causes more fatigue than noise.

Three colors, three different uses

Three colors, three different uses

Clear maintains maximum visibility and works well all year round. Smoke reduces glare without making things too dark. Dark is the boldest aesthetic choice.

If you often drive at night or at dawn, clear remains the most sensible choice.

One motorcycle, two configurations

One motorcycle, two configurations

The CFD131 covers both the R 1300 GS from 2023 and the GS Adventure from 2024: you don’t need to check which version you have.

It’s a rare case in the R 1300 range, where almost all accessories require different codes for the two bikes.

The airflow is personal

Aerodynamic performance depends on your height, helmet, and riding position: what provides perfect protection for a tall rider may create turbulence around the helmet for a shorter rider.

Try different settings of the original mechanism before passing judgment: often, just a few centimeters can completely change the feel.

Cleaning and Care of Polycarbonate

Cleaning and Care of Polycarbonate

Wash with plenty of water and a soft cloth: dry-rubbing sand is the main cause of the fine scratches that dull the windshield.

Avoid solvent- or alcohol-based products, which can damage the surface and reduce transparency over time.

FAQs

For more information, please see our FAQ.

Which color should I choose?

The Clear option leaves visibility unchanged and is the safest choice if you often drive at night or in low-light conditions. The Smoked option reduces glare and has a moderate visual impact. The Dark option is the most distinctive but reduces visibility through the panel: consider it if you mainly drive during the day.

Is it taller than the original? Does it change the noise inside the helmet?

Yes, the CFD131 is taller and wider than the original, with a revised aerodynamic profile to reduce turbulence and noise. The benefit is most noticeable around the torso and helmet when the windshield is set to its higher positions. However, perceived noise still depends on your height, riding position, and helmet.

Is the product covered by a warranty?

Yes: all LOBOO products sold on Endurrad are covered by the 24-month statutory consumer warranty. In the event of a lack of conformity, we will handle the claim with the manufacturer.
