Mirror model for stems up to 10.2 mm. Model for sport bikes, which attaches to the steering plate hole with a diameter of 12 to 25.4 mm.

Measure the exact point with a caliper: on many handlebars, the cross-section changes between the center and the ends.

Yes. Rotation is handled by a geared mechanical mechanism that clicks into place and holds its position: it isn’t a friction-tightened screw, so the angle won’t gradually droop downward after a few dozen kilometers on bumpy roads.

You can also adjust the bracket angle to position the screen in your line of sight instead of leaving it perpendicular to the handlebars. The adjustment takes a second, but make both adjustments while stationary.

The holder accommodates devices from 65 to 92 mm in width, from 125 to 169 mm in length, and up to 12.5 mm thick. Measure the thickness with the case on: this is the measurement most likely to lead to a purchasing mistake.

The mount accepts phones from 65 to 92 mm wide and from 125 to 169 mm long, with a thickness of up to 12.5 mm with the case fitted. These limits are narrower than those of the PH02S, which accommodates phones up to 98 mm wide and 170 mm long.

There is, however, a second criterion that really determines compatibility with recent phones: measure the distance between the camera module and the phone’s top edge, including the case. If it exceeds 55 mm, LOBOO requires the expansion kit, which adds 22 mm to the length range and 6 mm to the thickness range. It is sold separately, is also intended for foldable phones, and does not include the mount.

The PH06 does not have an internal battery: it must be powered by 12–16 V DC, ideally from a switched positive so it turns off with the motorcycle. Route the cable away from hot or moving parts.

Wireless charging does not require any cable connected to the phone. If you want to use the Type-C port and its 36 W output, the LOBOO angled cable is an optional accessory: 230 mm long, 60 W in the Type-C-to-Type-C version and 27 W in the Type-C-to-Lightning version.

It is an accessory designed to be mounted on the handlebar, with an aluminum-alloy body and electronic protection against overheating and foreign objects. However, LOBOO does not declare a certified IP rating for the PH06, so we do not assign one to it for the sake of accuracy.

Normal rain while riding is not a problem, but immersion and pressure-washer cleaning are. When washing the motorcycle, it is best to cover the mount or remove the phone and avoid directing the spray at the Type-C port.

The locking mechanism is a mechanical snap-lock on four jaws, not magnetic: it opens only by pressing the release button underneath the body, which cannot be reached through accidental contact. The jaws’ lateral travel is adjusted with a single button.

Adjust the jaws so the phone fits without play: a wobbly device is the most common cause of both slipping out and premature wear.

The body measures 184.7 mm wide by 96.6 mm high, with a 143.5 mm base and a depth of 93.7 mm. The protrusion varies by mount: approximately 56 mm for the standard clamp version, 30 mm for the mirror-joint version, and 48 mm for the sport motorcycle version.

If your motorcycle has a large TFT display and little space in front, the 13 mm bar-mounted model is almost always the best solution because it sits above the instrument cluster rather than in front of it.

The issue isn’t the thickness itself but the metal: magnetic rings, plates for magnetic mounts, Popsockets, and card holders with a magnetic strip can shield the magnetic field or trigger the foreign-object detection, which interrupts charging.

In that case, wired charging via the Type-C port is still available, and it’s also faster.

Three causes, all anticipated by the manufacturer. Distance: there should be no more than a few millimeters between the back of the phone and the module, and a thick case reduces performance. Metal: magnetic rings, plates, and card holders on the back trigger foreign-object detection, which interrupts charging. Temperature: in direct sunlight, the phone automatically reduces the power it accepts, and iPhones have stricter thresholds.

When you need a fast charge, the 36 W Type-C port is the most reliable option: it is unaffected by either distance or the case.

Yes, as a mechanical support: the aluminum structure, magnetic damping, snap-lock mechanism, and geared rotation all work without power. Only the charging component remains inactive.

You can connect it later without removing the mount from the motorcycle, so installing it right away and wiring it at your convenience is not a problem.

• Damping: The PH06 has a vibration-damping magnetic base, while the PH02S uses silicone pads. On rough roads, you can feel the difference—and that’s why the higher-end model exists.
• Wired charging: 36 W on the PH06 versus 24 W on the PH02S. Wireless charging is 15 W on both.
• Mounting points: Four on the PH06, because it also has one for the steering-plate hole on sport motorcycles; three on the PH02S. And the PH06’s body is made of aluminum alloy rather than a combination of alloy and engineering polymer.

However, the accepted phone dimensions are more limited on the PH06: 65–92 × 125–169 mm versus 65–98 × 125–170 mm on the PH02S. If you have a large phone, check first.
