The 230mm LOBOO angled cable does one thing, and does it well: it connects your smartphone to the mount without the cable making a wide loop in front of the handlebars. The charger-side connector is right-angled, so it exits parallel to the mount body instead of sticking out forward, where it would end up getting snagged or bent with every turn.

It's the accessory designed for LOBOO PH02S and PH06 mounts, but it works with any mount or charging socket: 230 millimeters is the right length for the stretch between the socket on the handlebars and the phone, without messy coils to hide.

Two versions

  • C-CW230 — Type-C to Type-C, up to 60 W. For Android, iPhone 15 and later, tablets, and action cameras with a USB-C port.
  • C-LW230 — Type-C to Lightning, up to 27 W. For iPhones up to 14 and other Apple devices with a Lightning port.

In both, the angled connector is the Type-C one on the power side; the other end is straight and goes into the phone.

The power-side connector is right-angled: the cable exits to the side and runs parallel to the mount instead of protruding forward toward the windshield, where it gets caught and bends with every turn.

There’s also a less obvious reason: a straight cable puts leverage on the phone’s port with every vibration, and that’s exactly where cables tend to break first.

Exactly two hundred and thirty millimetres, including connectors: the length needed between a socket on the handlebar and the phone in the mount, with no excess cable to hide with cable ties.

The core is pure copper, not copper-clad aluminium: lower resistance, less heat and less voltage drop, which is essential for genuinely handling the stated wattage. The braided sheath is rated for resistance to tensile stress and ageing, with reinforced collars at both ends.

Type-C to Lightning for iPhones up to the 14th generation

The second version has the Type-C elbow on the power side and ends with a straight Lightning connector, up to 27 W. It’s for iPhones up to the 14 and other Apple devices with a Lightning port.

If you have an iPhone 15 or later or a recent Android device, the right version is the other one: Type-C to Type-C, up to 60 W.

It was designed as an accessory for the LOBOO PH02S and PH06 mounts, but it is a standard USB cable: it works with any mount, handlebar socket, or power bank. Compatibility depends on the phone’s connector, not the motorcycle model.

It also pairs well with tank bags featuring a dedicated cable pass-through—BTB06, BTB20BK, and BTB13BK: power bank inside the bag, cable out through the opening, phone on the handlebar.

Use and warnings

  • The angled connector goes into the charging socket or holder; the straight end into the phone.
  • 60W and 27W are the maximum supported by the cable: the actual power depends on the phone, charging protocol, and power outlet.
  • No IP rating is declared: in heavy rain, disconnect the cable and close the socket with its cap.
  • Check that the cable does not interfere with the steering movement at full lock on both sides.

Which version do I need?

Check your phone’s port. If it’s USB-C—which means all recent Android phones and iPhones from the 15 onward—choose the C-CW230, Type-C to Type-C, up to 60 W. If it’s Lightning, meaning iPhones up to the 14, choose the C-LW230, Type-C to Lightning, up to 27 W. In both cases, the end that plugs into the charging port is Type-C.

Why is the cable so short?

Because 230 millimeters is exactly the distance needed between a handlebar outlet and the phone in its mount. A one-meter cable on a motorcycle is a problem: there’s excess cable that flaps around, gets caught on the controls, and has to be tucked away with cable ties. With this one, there’s no excess.

What is the elbow connector used for?

The right-angle connector routes the cable out to the side instead of straight ahead. On the handlebars, this makes quite a difference: the cable runs parallel to the mount, doesn’t protrude toward the windshield, and doesn’t catch on the lever when you turn the handlebars. It’s also the position that puts the least strain on the phone connector, which is where cables tend to break first.

Does it really charge at 60 W?

Sixty watts is the maximum the cable can carry, not what will reach your phone. The actual power is determined by three things: the phone, the charging protocol it supports, and the outlet you draw power from. The manufacturer itself makes this clear. In practice, the cable will never be the bottleneck.

Which way does the elbow go?

The elbow connector is always the Type-C one, and it goes into the charging port or the holder. The other, straight end, goes into the phone. This applies to both versions.

Does it only work with LOBOO mounts?

No. It was designed as an accessory for the PH02S and PH06 mounts, but it is a standard USB cable: it works with any mount, handlebar USB-C socket, or power bank. Compatibility depends on the phone’s connector, not the mount brand or motorcycle model.
